Moved to Amherst from Indiana just under 2 years ago and had multiple locals sing the praises of HDH as if it were a Mecca of some kind. Hot Dog Heaven is almost perfect! The food tastes amazing, the building got rebuilt and now there is a balcony to sit on, and it's just perfect! The only thing that went wrong with the place is when I tried to order one of the packs, but I accidentally ordered it separately from a pack, and they charged me more without telling me if I wanted the pack or not.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs except for the 2nd floor.

Hot dog, The Works was good. Mac n Cheese was okay. Still, an interesting place.Should have tried the big hot sausage. Next time. Close to Steele High School Amherst, Ohio.Biggest problem was the young lsdy who took my order. Didnt know the register well. I asked for a recco as it was my first time.
