“So I'll start by saying that I went here probably 10yrs ago and it wasn't great.. Recently a friend and I decided to give it another shot, and I'm glad we did!! The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. They also let me sample the chicken paprikas sauce, which is really good!! However, we decided we wanted burgers and onion rings for lunch. My friend had the Sammy Say burger that was comparable to an OH BOY burger (if you're from around here you probably know what that is) and she said it was really good. I had the mushroom swiss burger and I have to say, it was one of THE BEST MUSHROOM SWISS BURGERS I'VE EVER HAD!! The onion rings were also fantastic!! The atmosphere was relaxing and laid back, the other patrons were all friendly and personable as well.. “This ice-cream is one that I'll always scream for! It tastes delicious, it's near the schools so parents and kids can grab some ice cream, and it's right across from Hot Dog Heaven, just in case it's closed, which it usually is during the winter. (Hot Dog Heaven serves ice-cream, don't worry)Parking: The parking is small, I'll be the first to admit that, but it's usually not that full unless it's a busy day, which it usually isn't.“

“My son loved these cookies and used to purchase them every week as a special treat. He was a police officer who passed away last year, and so to honor his memory on the anniversary of his death last month, I purchased several boxes of Crumbl cookies from the Amherst location to take to my son's police department, as well as several other departments. I ordered online, which was super simple, and I picked them up to deliver them the next day. This put a smile on my face and on the faces of the officers who received them. “We took the walking trail and ended up right outside of here my huband ran in and got a mint chocolate chip milk shake that was super good and a pup cup for our dogs it was a really nice treat at the end of the trail and there was out door seating by the trail too so it all worked out really nicely.“
“The best soft serve! We stopped yesterday for the last day of the season (wish they were open all year round!) I ordered the Black Forest k whip. The whip is their version of a blizzard but better! The ice cream tastes delicious. The Black Forest whip has cherry swirled throughout with bites of brownie! It was to die for! Sad I have to wait til next year - But so worth it!“

“It's a good little place to get ice cream, nachos, hotdogs, shakes, etc. But, I'm giving 4 stars. I'm glad they are able to take debit/credit. But the owner could DEFINITELY upgrade to a new system to where the customers can electronically give tips.“
“Great for that sweet treat. They have unique sundaes and flavors of ice creamThey have a Nacho Sundae and Cannoli ice cream cone with real pieces of Cannoli. The Nacho has very crisp pieces of cone that are very thin. Topped with chocolate and M&M's. But they are only open Tuesday Through Sunday 3pm to 8 Pm. The sign is in front of the building“
“Our favorite place in Elyria!!! What a great find and hidden gem. Top quality ice cream made with top quality ingredients. There is an update every Wednesday with flavors available that weekend. You can place your order on line or go order in person on Saturdays. Order pick time is Saturday 11:00-3:00. The location is an old Lawson's store, when you pull in parking lot there is a whiteboard outside listing flavors. The owners will come out and take your order (or name if you pre-ordered) and bring your order to your car. You never get out of your car!The best thing about Cowhaus Creamery are the owners, Joe and Deb. Always a smile and grateful for the business. They are very passionate about their product, knowledgeable and creative. This is a perfect example of customer service that has been missing in the world for a long time.“
“Love their ice cream! Very creamy and just all around amazing! I usually get a cookie dough flurry with a waffle cone on the side. And then I just put pieces of the waffle cone in the flurry. I wouldn't have ever thought to do that without the staffs suggestion. They are wonderful! All around great place and one of my favorites in Vermilion.“
“My review is solely based on breakfast. We stayed at Captain Bell and received a gift certificate for breakfast. It’s a cute and quaint home, loved the atmosphere and we were able to get seated quickly. Service was great and drinks, coffee and food came quick. Coffee was constantly refilled which I truly appreciate that from an avid coffee drinker. Would recommend when in town and looking for a good breakfast.“
“This is such an incredible little place! Very family friendly and super fun space to be in. The workers were incredible, and super patient with my indecisive kiddos! She was also very kind about one of child's nut allergies, and went out of her way to clean the scoop in the back and was helping recommend ice creams with no cross contamination! Also, so happy with the price. I got ice cream for five for under 20 dollars, that's so unheard of! And it was quality ice cream too, so totally worth it. If your in the area, definitely consider a visit.“
