The chocolate custard is fantastic and service is always friendly and prompt. But, I got a take out order today and was supposed to have a pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw. I got a shredded chicken sandwich. The shredded chicken is good but I'm not too crazy about the cole slaw on it. Will check my order before leaving from now on.
Excellent Custard ! So much better than plain ice cream ! Our family have been happy customers since Whits opened in Ashland . Whenever we're up in town my daughter and I stop for an AU Gem Sunday. We have ordered wonderful custard cakes from them and have never been disappointed! I highly recommend them .

Whit's frozen custard is as good as it gets, and the Ashland location is no exception. But, in addition to great custard, they have a small, but excellent menu of other items, including great hot dogs. What really sets this location apart is their service. I can't say enough about the quality of the staff. I don't know the people who work there and I don't live in the area, but when I stopped by while on a short road trip, I was overwhelmed by the friendly, professional staff....read full review
