Went mid-afternoon to stock up for weekend getaway. Good selection of donuts, brownie bites, cookies, turnovers & muffins. Service was excellent! Loved the bran muffin, not too sweet but huge. Creme filled chocolate donut was delicious.
Stumbled upon this place when going the scenic route up to Michigan. Fritter was as big my hand. It was tasty. So was the cream filled longjohn. Loved their white cream. Service was prompt. Drive thru was busy so I went inside. Lady that helped was nice and patient. Got a pepperoni roll. I asked if they baked them. She said their bakery did. It was professionally packaged with another name. I ate it days later. It was good as well.

Old school donut shop that has some of the best fresh donuts in town. As a kid in Athens I grew up with Mchappys Donuts and going into the store on the weekend for fresh donuts. I would definitely love it if they were around for many decades to come. My wife even started to love and look forward to having fresh donuts on the weekend when I would take our kids to pick up a dozen of them. My mother would also take the kids out to get donuts when the kids would spend the night...read full review
