“We've been getting ice cream here every Thursday night for the last 12 years,same order every week 1 small twist cone,2 large vanilla cones,1 for me 1 for my granddaughter this week she and I said at almost the same time what's wrong with this vanilla? Number 1 it didn't melt at all and were usually scrambling to eat it fast enough,then it had literally no taste and the consistency was like straight cool whip! Now I don't know what's going on at this location but the employees are always goofin around and clowning while they work and what used to be excellent food and ice cream has fast become sub standard. I highly recommend that the owners tighten up their managers and staff and get this place back on track or you're gonna start losing buisness.“
“Great coffee concoctions, along with Gelato, that has extreme flavors. Besure to get your desserts before sitting at the bar. If you don't, you will have to wait in line since the bar will not serve edibles (hence 4 stars). “This place has been around since i was a child and im in my 60s its always had soft serve custard. People shouldnt expect nothing more. The flavors they come up with are ok for some.but the banana,blk raspberry,choc almond, and a few other flavors they are known for and they are yummy........ so if you know about stricklands than you know wht to expect... clean very friendly great custard and cool airplanes coming and going ...enjoy your summer“
“Pav's is a perfect spot to talk about the current migrant crisis, the escalating wars and billions of U.S. dollars funnelled through Ukraine to who knows where. I love the simple vanilla custard and the new movie "Police State" by Dinesh D'Souza. A shot of tequila poured over makes a nice compliment to the creamy custard.“
“Sunday morning, the place was very busy and there was a wait for our food, but once we got it, we enjoyed it. Ordered the French ie platter. Bacon, eggs, hash browns, and French toast. Four slices and they were thick and dripping butter. Eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon could have been just a bit crisper. Our server was excellent. Attentive and polite. She was the only one working the tables and handled a full house exceptionally well.“

Their bright & jovial demeanor set the tone for my first time there ( Live in Atl) I was given the full run down on how many flavors I could sample ( pretty much all) and how they had a " flight" of ice cream of any flavor on the menu .I was pretty much sold. I enjoyed their conversation and pleasant attitude ☺️.. I'll Definitely return when back in Ohio“
“Skoops in Barberton is by far my favorite ice cream shop. They have a large menu and always have new flavors to try. The homemade GF, DF options vary. They always have vanilla bean, and it's amazing. They also have different GF, DF flavors weekly. My husband loves the frosted yellow cake in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. It has chucks of cake and chocolate. It's not GF, DF. I ordered a scoop of soft serve cake batter and a scoop of fudgesicle.
