“We came close to closing time, but they had everything we ordered except for collard greens. That was fine because everything was delicious. The ancestors would be pleased. We ordered the meatloaf, mac-n-cheese, and cabbage. Nothing was a disappointment. The mac-n-cheese was heavily seasoned, but you wouldn't know it by looking at it. The seasoning was good, tho. This is not a complaint. The meatloaf was so big it can easily feed 2.5 people. I gained 3 pounds just reading the menu.“

“Looking for soul food on a Sunday and found what J was looking for! It's a lil hole in the wall restaurant but usually that's where you find the best food. First off the waitress who greeted us when we walked in was awesome she was very polite and explained everything we needed to know about what we ordered, the food is prepared per order (I assume) We ordered one of the Salmon specials with a very tasty rice,,, yes rice it was very flavorful and the greens OmG the greens needed nothing xtra they were fresh and meaty and had good broth so Good! Chicken was a crispy but I wish they wld give more of the sauce which they offer different options to toss your wings in but it was little to no sauce. Macaroni was beyond cheesy which is a plus but I see very little noodles but still consistent with the flavors! The food was great the only but major complaint wld be (for the ladies) the bathroom well where the bathroom is located is uhmmmm a big no for Me but like I said it's a 'hole in the wall'“

“Best food, best service 10 out of 10 hands down. From my phone order to my pick up these guys never let me down. Exceeded my every expectation I am excited to certainly be back. Food was ready when I arrived. Good music and friendly vibes walking into the establishment. Clean, professional and orderly. To top it off the food was hot and some of the best chicken and sauce that I had in my life. I'm a proud supporter of Comfort Cle. (Full vegan restaurant) The food was great, phone service was great, and the food was handled with care during delivery!We had the soul plate, the seared lions mane dish, philly cheesestake egg rolls, cajun alfredo pasta, and the candied yams. Not greasy at all, full of flavor, portions were nice, and the prices were good. Plan to return in the future!“

“We picked this place on a random and was not disappointed. Hostess was great and friendly, place was relaxing and comfortable. The food...the food was so good!!!! We got the Catfish dinner and a Honey Hot Polish Boy. Good prices. *Was eating before I took pictures, you get more fries than in photo.“

“Having a tip automatically added to the bill of two people is off-putting. For the record, I'm a good Tipper. I did actually add to the 15% automatically added because our server was awesome. But tipping is an addition, not part of the bill. Heck, add it to the cost of the food and I'll pay it. but not in tipping. that's my choice.“

“I went here to enjoy a night out with staff and it was the perfect little bar that we needed. The staff was so friendly and great listeners. I ordered a tequila sunrise and a prime rib philly steak sub with fries and mozzarella sticks. I absolutely loved both! The mozzarella sticks are topped with parmesan cheese and were cooked just right. This is a great place for a quick bite to eat and drink. The Dj was also full of life and was very entertaining ? “Honestly this is one of the best Caribbean take out spots on the east side. Other than the ox tails everything on the menu is excellent. And I understand oxtails are expensive it’s like having lamb on the menu. But they were too salty and overcooked also this doesn’t take away from the food I’m just weird but I’d rather you cut up the oxtails in bigger chunks not a million pieces like hot dogs. But one bad thing on the menu doesn’t take away from my review I still give this place a 8/10And a lot of people complain about the service? Listen this not chipotle orChick-fil-A stop stereotyping these people just because it’s a Jamaican food. Nobody is going to kiss your butt as soon as you walk in the door.Order your food and don’t be difficult. The lady’s at the window are not mean or have attitudesJust enjoy the food.“

“This was my first time eating at this establishment. My food was fresh, hot and a good portion size was given. The food was the best. The Barbeque sauce was amazing. I wish it was sold separately. I will certainly eat again and again at Carby's Soul Food.Parking: Small parking area outside of the restaurant. Additional parking is available if patrons enter through the Family Dollar entrance.“

“I have become a fan of goodfellas it’s a nice atmosphere to drink and get bar bites and beyond. Prices are very good and wait staff has always been polite. I did have one issue where I waited about an hour and a half. The owner or manager, a nice looking bald guy overheard me on the phone saying I had been waiting a hour and a half. I was being patient but he did imply I was exaggerating on my wait time even tho I wasn’t not even talking to him as I was on the phone. After he looked into my order come to find out it never went to the Bck to the cook in the system. Things happen so I wasn’t to upset I just wish he would have acknowledged the mistake especially after kind of accusing me of lying about my wait time. I end up switching my order from steak to wings thinking it would could out quicker it took another 45 mins as other patrons started to shuffle in. I didn’t get any kind of apology or comp to meal. I was not looking for anything free but at least a I apologize from the owner would have sufficed. He mad the statement of. I left out at 7 and didn’t see you implying I had not been waiting. When in reality I was. There was a point in time the waitress did say let me check on your food but assume she never did because that mistake would have been discovered sooner if she did. I think she may have been highly but she did apologize at least. But all in all my meal took 2:15 mins to come out got in at :7:30 didn’t get food to 9:45pm. It wasn’t busy cuz it’s was a snow storm. I was looking for acknowledgment and a rush on my order nothing free but I feel as ego played a part in how that went down and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I go about 3 times a week.“

“The customers service is phenomenal! The Chicken Alfredo is literally the best I’ve had in Cleveland. The Store is clean & kept up to date, and has such a positive and professional atmosphere! Definitely a 10/10 experience from ordering the food & getting home and enjoying my meal!“

“Idk why I’m up thinking about the two scoops of food we decided to take home because it was that damn good! Or was it the funny beautiful chocolate bartender who ended up taking our order, or the very charming gentleman who welcomed us in directly with good eye contact and clear voices, helped us find comfortable seating with no problem and up held a standard I personally haven’t experienced in a while. Poise. The ambiance is amazing, the music is loud but I could hear every word anyone said whether nearby or far… the chef!!! He came out talked to us then went back and did his mf THING!!! We had the salmon Alfredo. And if you don’t know you need to go find out. It’s 7am why I am ready to get dressed and go to this place! I told my spouse Flavors is our new go to spot.
