I actually was surprised at how good the experience was! I’ve stopped going to my local Bob Evans because they are short staffed, takes forever to get the food, and it tastes mediocre once you receive it.
Bob Evans used to be a nice place for a decent meal, but sadly, like so many places lately, the prices have gone up while the quality has gone down. I had a simple breakfast with loaded hash browns, something they must do many times a day, but the eggs were undercooked with runny whites, and the hash browns were stone cold. And apparently 'loaded' means throw a tiny bit of shredded cheese on top (which won't even melt due to the aforementioned cold potatoes).Overpriced and disappointing.Additionally,...read full review

Granted we had a large group with young children. The servers were visibly arguing over who would take us. So we had to wait over 30 minutes for them to figure out who was taking the table. (We ended up splitting the check 2 ways with 25%+ tip on each, so worth the work imo)After we were seated the server was upset they got stuck with the little kids and big group and showed it the whole time. Other than poor service we ignored and had fun anyway. The food was good.
