“Visited El Palenque with friends from work. All of us said the food was good. We had burritos, chicken quesadillas, and one had soup. Carlos was our server and he was very attentive. Excellent service!!! If we asked for something, we received it immediately. Excellent service is rare now and days. So big kudos to Carlos and the staff that assisted him. Oh yes, the drinks we had were tasty too....Pina colada, strawberry margarita, sangria, and beer . I would go back to eat there again!“

“Decided to try this place. It doesn't look like much from the outside but you have to go inside and it is such a cute small restaurant. We were seated in the back room and our server was really nice and knowledgeable about both the food and drinks menu. We ordered a few drinks, all were so cute and fancy. Had a few appetizisers and the elk burger. Also decided to try the kitchen snack, which our server said it's different every time and for each table - we got chicken and waffles and were totally surprised, we weren't expecting that for a snack. Definitely wanting to go back and tey other menu items and cocktails“

“Heart of Gold has so far been the best bite to eat in Cleveland since I moved here from the South. The atmosphere is trendy but laid back with good lighting and a cute small bar. I really loved the menu design, it is very obvious that even the smallest details of this restaurant have been thought out.The overall menu has an interesting and cohesive direction that incorporates Southern and Italian food - which to me was very reminiscent of the kind of fare you'd find in a lunch spot in New Orleans - especially their Tiki drinks on offer.The service was wonderful; everyone was kind, helpful, and seemed excited about the food.We chose the Roman, the fried chicken sandwich, the waffle fries, and the onion rings with the house made ranch.The Roman is a solid sandwich where you can taste every part mentioned in the menu description. I thought all of the ingredients played well together and reminded me a bit of a muffeletta.The waffle fries were very good - I thought the everything seasoning was a very smart choice (the ridges in the fries hold the seasoning in place) and were perfect for dipping. The fry crispiness to fluffiness ratio was to me a perfect balance. My only complaint is that they tasted a little too much of oil.The onion rings were very surprising to me. They are to this date the best onion rings I've ever had. The breading was perfectly crispy and the onion stayed in place upon biting it - which is typically my main issue with onion rings. The sauce drizzled on top paired well with the sweetness with the onion, and the horsey sauce added the right amount of heat.The chicken sandwich was overall a good chicken sandwich. The bread and the maggi mayo punch above their weight and those alone make this a stand out. The chicken was crispy and perfectly cooked. I personally think the chicken itself could use a little more flavor, but again that is only my taste.I can't wait to return to this restaurant and try the other items on the menu. “We heard the drinks are amazing, but we ordered wine - it was good. We were celebrating a birthday and ended up seated by the kitchen - didn’t feel very special. We enjoyed the food - cauliflower appetizer - very indulgent! We also enjoyed the mussels, a shawarma wrap and a salad. Everything was good. The decor was fun and the vibe lively. I had a really hard time hearing during dinner - though the back room wasn’t full it was very loud. We didn’t linger….Vegetarian options: Salads, ravioli and a veggie burger were in the menu“

“Been here a few times now and the past few times they were out of pierogies (if that doesn't tell you how good they are, I don't know what will). So I switched over to the mac n cheese (everything is vegan btw, and with most of the stuff you can't tell at all). The mac n cheese is incredible. Bartenders are always very nice, the food came out quickly and there are frequently shows, karaoke, or dollar country nights here. Pool if you're lookin' to play billiards, and the beer on tap is always great (got a two hearted IPA this time around).“

“We went around 1:30pm on March7th. Food was very good. Had wine and cocktails. Service was outstanding. Female server and she was probably the best server I have ever had. I would only recommend that there were more appetizers. Bread was outstanding as well as the croissants. Vegetarian dishes were very good as well as the Broccoli melt. We were able to find parking on the street.“

“Came before league bowling for the wing's special. The number of different sauce varieties is very imoressive. I had the Thai Chili Garlic and it was awesome ! Just the right amount of sweet and heat! I tried my husband's garlic Parmesan and it was 'ok'. It was a bit bland for my liking, but he enjoyed. I also had a Bacardi lemon with Diet Coke. It was good and great special price. This is a sports bar - plenty of TVs with sports and news. Our server was the best - attentive and kind. Don't let this strip mall location deter you from trying. “Terra is the best thing to happen to Terrestrial Brewing Co! Located inside the brewery, Terra brings in a more comfortable and cool atmosphere with a simple menu, good cocktails and great food at a reasonable price. Of course their craft beer is available as well. The Pimento cheese dip is a must try, and the chicken sandwich is done right. Dog friendly patio and also in the brewery side. The room was spacious, and had a nice selection of games, a large bar, and several tables set up for food and presents. The staff was top notch, helpful and courteous. “This is a very interesting and cool place to visit. From the beer selection to the facility it self. Being a brewing company with a wide variety of Ales and IPAs for everyone. We loved the self guided tour you can take. It's just a walk around hallway posted on the walls. It tells you the beginning history of the Fat Head Company and how it landed in Ohio. Yes....we purchased a tin sign for the garage.“

“I've eaten here a few times as of writing this review. Overall, my experiences have been pretty good. Of all the times I've been here, there was only one negative dish. It was something the person had gotten many times before and they were surprised so it really felt like a one time thing. The management was really nice about the whole situation as well so it never soured the dinner experience. Every other time, our food was exquisite. The drinks are also pretty good. I've tried a different one every time and had been happy with all but one (which was a special and just not my cup of tea, there was nothing bad about it on the restaurant's side). The drinks are often pretty strong which is a plus in my opinion. The staff is great and the atmosphere is wonderful, especially if you can sit by the window on a nice day to see the restaurant's namesake, the creekside. Overall great and I will be visiting more in the future.“

“Place was packed. Parking awful. Being handicapped I had to walk way too far to enter. Very loud and noisy. Had a big group and had to shout to one another. My BLT was tasty. Service slow but the waitress was running around like crazy. Definitely needed more help. Have been here before and was much better the other times. Won't be bringing our group back here.“

“My husband and I came on a Friday night around 8pm. It was busy and lively inside. We were told it'd be. 30-45 minute wait but we could wait at the bar. There were actually a couple bar stools open so we just ended up ordering and eating there. Our table actually only took 10 minutes to be available. We did not let our phones eat first lol, hence the bad photos. I got the shrimp basket and side salad. Shrimp was so good and the cocktail sauce tasted like they made it with the perfect amount of horse radish. My husband got the fish and chips. Fish was flaky and tender and the fries were yummy! Even though both items were fried, they didn't feel super greasy or heavy. We loved our meals and would recommend.“

“January 2024: My husband and I were visiting the Cleveland area and were looking for something to do on a Wednesday night. I did a quick search of LIVE MUSIC TONIGHT and this club popped. It was their open mic night and we figured, what the heck. And we're so glad we went!At ages 59 and 69, we thought we'd be the oldest folks in the place but we were wrong. The club was packed with local musicians and music lovers of all ages and although not all of the acts were of profressional quality, it was a supportive and loving audience and much of the music was very good.If you live in the area, make it a regular stop. “Went to Brick and Barrel on St. Patty’s day and it looked like a super cozy spot to drink some brews. We got their flight and sampled the different brews. They have a pizza place (different restaurant) next door that offers some delicious Italian pizza as well as other Italian food. They also had some sandwiches for St. Patty’s day! They serve some bar snacks inside and everyone is super warm and welcoming.“

The waitress was very apologetic, nice, and friendly. If you’re in for a great meal and great people to serve you … please stop by! “Their website is outdated as they do not serve food anymore. The man behind the bar is super friendly. Chill even, vibing. The overall feel of the place is pretty nice. It is.... rather expensive for their cider though.... It was tasty for sure. It's so expensive though you don't really have much of a choice but to slowly sip it otherwise you'll spend $90 in 10 minutes.I would have loved to stay longer than I did. “Not only is superelectric pinball parlor an excellent place to stop in on date night or family day, they make a great venue for events. We have now hosted two parties at superelectric pinball. Our elopement reception and then my 30th birthday. Both times, superelectric pinball’s staff have been perfect hosts. Even if you wouldn’t consider yourself a pinball player (we really aren’t serious players), the space screams fun, laughter, good times. Our guests had a great time trying games, mingling, drinking at the bar. We really love this place, and we think you would too.“

That’s a serious understatement, this place stands toe to toe with any Indian Restaurant I’ve ever been in, and I frequent Indian Restaurants all over. “The owners of Union House have done an amazing job of updating the bar and restaurant while still maintaining the working man charm of the original. I wish I’d taken pics of the food, it was delicious. The burger (sourced from Whiteys in Richfield)is a generous half pound and cooked to perfection. Fun appetizers like the Tater Kegs (tots stuffed with buffalo chicken) and the Parma Wings, (mini pierogi tossed in your choice of several different wing sauces) are a fun shareable. The Wednesday/Friday fish fry is available year round and is delicious. Served with a side of fries and coleslaw it really hit the spot. For the more health conscious you can get a beautiful veggie plate or choose from a myriad of salads and grilled chicken.“

“I live in the neighborhood and love Woody's for the neighborhood bar that it is. There are three solid options for dive bars and drinks in the Triskett and Lakewood Heights area. Those options are Kelley's Pub, Woody's and Casey Jones. They are conveniently located off of the rapid Red Line train so if you are a yuppie living downtown, Ohio City or Tremont, hop on that old train, head west and slum it with some real Clevelanders.“

“Very small dive bar and only food they have are a rack of chips. No worries because drinks are cheap and bartenders are friendly. It's a shot and beer bar and in Warren Road plaza. You could prob grab ice cream from Dairy Queen next door and they wouldn't care if you ate it in here. There is another bar in the plaza if you need food but this place place has all the drinks you need.“
