“What a cool, retro place! The popcorn was fresh and delicious, and there were lots of candy and honey to choose from. The outside of the store is a delight - a throwback to the 30s/40s and preserved so well. Very unique place in a very unique town!“
“This has to be the best ice cream in Northfield, and believe me - I’ve tried a lot of different ice cream spots! I went to Ebony’s Ice Cream the night it opened, and my family and I agreed that it was extremely good. I wholeheartedly recommend it.“
“Favorite Cleveland ice cream place. Friendly staff. If you want a strawberry ice cream that tastes like actual strawberries you will like their strawberry ice cream. Also recommend their mint chocolate chunk. It doesn't have green food coloring, but it still tastes great.“
“Fabulous & locally owned! They started many years ago on the westside of Cleveland. When I moved east, it was one of the many things I sorely missed, so i'm very glad they have branched out onto the Eastside finally. Their honey pecan is better than anything at Mitchell's. Now that Honey Hut is on the east side. I don't understand why there are still lines at Mitchell's. Highly recommended.“
“I cannot tell you enough about this place. It is so good and the workers are very friendly and helpful. I've been there twice in 4 days. They have different cookies every week. They change them on Sundays. I have not been disappointed yet. I love this place.“
“Celebrating small business week, decided to try Pop Culture CLE. It is a small but friendly gourmet ice cream shop. The young lady behind the counter was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. The presentation of my choice was great, and taste even better. I would recommend this spot for families, dates or if you just want something beautiful, different and tasty. Oh and the prices are reasonable.“
“A great local ice cream chain! I visited here on the solar eclipse day and while the line was out the door, it moved quickly. I had been here before and got the chocolate peanut butter cup, which I found underwhelming. This time, I got the peanut butter fudge sundae with caramel fudge brownie ice cream. The sundae was reasonably priced ($7) with a good portion size, and it was delicious. The peanut butter and hot fudge were delicious, and the ice cream was rich and creamy, with plenty of hearty fudge chunks. I highly recommend Mitchell's if you are looking for good, local ice cream in Cleveland!“
“I love their custard. My favorite is a kid sized turtle with whipped cream and a cherry. The hot fudge is always hot and that's important. Most places don't bother with the hot fudge actually being hot and that's just wrong on so many levels. The only thing I don't like about the place is the weird smell. Might be disinfectant, but whatever it is it's too strong.“
“Oh my. I didn't realize this ice cream place would be such a delight. And it's right around the corner! The flavors are traditional and unique. I had a Capaccino Crunch cone. Huge dips and amazing flavor. My new go-to place for ice cream.“
“We have been living in Ohio for 6 years now and no where compares to Handles! The best ice cream I've ever had and I've gone to lots of popular places. Definitely beat out Ben and Jerry's in Vermont! The peanut butter chocolate has been my go to!“
“Lots of ice cream flavors. All fun and unique. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Plenty of parking. The only real downside is that it's a bit pricey compared to your local dairy whatever. But your getting good quality ingredients and fun flavors. Portion is pretty generous, so not skimpy. So your gonna pay a bit more. Go for it. As a treat it's good and worth it. Plenty of parking. You can eat inside or outside. Tables are available.“
“I've actually never physically been here, but I did have a phase where I would get cookies delivered weekly. I've stopped the weekly part, but will have occasional cravings. The cookies can be hit or miss, but that's not really the fault of this location since the flavors are designated on a national level. For example, I'm not a fan of the pink sugar one (never really like almond flavor) but it seems to be a hit with most. However, i have had some that I really enjoyed and I love how the flavors switch up each week, letting you try different things. Overall, solid!“
“Normally a non burger place that starts serving burgers has mediocre burgers, but DQ stepped it up with the Signature burgers. I had the flamethrower with extra sauce plus BBQ sauce. Real messy, real good.Kid-friendliness: All kids want ice cream.“
“My favorite giant eagle/market district. Large selection. It's like giant eagle on steroids'. I come here almost every week. Their sushi is much better than the ones at a regular giant eagle. I prefer this store over whole foods and heinen's because it's less stressful and the people are nicer.“
“They have dairy free and gluten free strawberry sorbet that is so incredibly yummy. Not crazy about going outside to stand in line when it is 45 degrees out so we sent the kids who didn't mind. We were concerned that it would be closed for the season but nice to see open year round 11 am to 10 pm.“
“As an American, I am programmed from birth to reject monarchies. I make two exceptions, Dairy Queen and Burger King. With a clean, up to date building with a drive through, and serving delicious treats and cakes, this is one queen I can serve. In addition to the frozen treats, they also serve actual meals of food. What's better than a DQ chili dog and fries. Well, if I'm being honest, lots of things. But they are still pretty great!“
“Unique and delightful flavors in the heart of beautiful Chagrin. Great spot to grab a sweet treat and sit by the water to relax on your day off. Close by to a bookstore too. My favorite is the red cherries and goat cheese seasonal flavor! I know it sounds odd, but trust me: you need to RUN to Jeni's the next time they have it in-store. I've never had a problem with the service either, very accommodating.“
