“Wow. The French Onion soup was delicious. I also had the Tavern Burger which was fabulous. My husband had the beef melt sandwich and said it was delicious. My side of Mac and cheese was also delicious. There was an upcharge for this side but it was worth it. We'll be back.“

“The smoked BBQ was good but they were stingy on the BBQ sauce amd didn't offer anything else for sauces. The Brisket was a bit dry and the meals were set on a peice of toast you couldn't cut with a fork but the service and atmosphere was great. But thats was my opinion“

“As always, a wonderful experience. Manon was a top-rate server. Hubs had the lobster/shrimp soup and raved about it. He also loved his pork chops; thick and perfectly cooked. The tomato bisque soup comes with grilled cheese croutons; very imaginative and delicious! We saw lots of people leaving with pizzas; will have to try one the next time we're here. Love the Cupcake of the Day.We have come here during standard dinner hours and have not been able to find a parking spot. That's the price we pay for enjoying a very popular restaurant. We have learned to come during other times.“

“Nice place with good atmosphere. We've eaten there multiple times and we once had a small event there. They were kind enough to reserve an area for our event. The food is good and the service is good. I just wish they they still included their house pickles with every meal, but they will still include some if you ask.“

I got a panini double cheeseburger (with tater sauce and shredded lettuce) and a salad. Good choice. We had the nachos appetizer which was perfect. Everyone loved their dinner and we all had to take to go boxes. The fresh cut fries here are great.Kid-friendliness: We had a booth which worked great for the kids. Plenty to keep them preoccupied.“

“It’s definitely a “locals” place, everyone seemed to know each other almost. It’s a good atmosphere, it’s nice decorative and spacious inside. They have a dart board and plenty of alcohol! As for the food, it was ok, I think it’s a bit pricey for a Mac and cheese and chicken it’s 15 bucks that’s way over board. I’d say 10 would’ve been more reasonable. I think they need more then one person serving people too, maybe it was our timing coming in but one person for the bar and food that’s quite a bit. Otherwise it’s a cool place to mingle and drink.“

“All around great place. Every staff member is so friendly and welcoming. Brittney has an amazing talent. My daughter's and I attended a murder mystery dinner she orchestrated. We had so much fun. The plot was very intriguing. Each character was carefully well created. Because of the all details it's obvious she put a lot of herself into this. A true passion. “I love this place. I love this place so much. The food is homemade, and tastes every bit like you had grandma at home making it for you while Columbo plays in the living room. The drinks are good. “Drinks are good, food is decent, the bartender is really nice. Local watering hole worth checking out. Karaoke Thursday night, Trivia Wed, queen of hearts, happy hour till 7. Its hidden in the end of the plaza across from the library, they have a nice patio out back.“

“Hosted my sister's 50th and everything was perfect! We had wings, tator skins, peppers and onions and nachos. The food was good! The party room held well over 50 people no problem and having a separate bar in it was perfect. The 2 bartenders were sweet and patient. The bar also had a dj on the outdoor patio, that was the icing on the cake! So so fun!“

“We have only been to this place 2x - we are from out of town but come to Mentor area yearly! I don't know HOW this only has a 3 star review! Both times the food was top level - memorable to come back the second time after a year! Best juicy burgers! Crispy waffle fries! I tried to use an app for pick up - we parked waited 25 min - I went in cuz I wasn't sure - I'm not a regular on the app I used- My card got charged and found out it was cancelled when I went to pick up - Had not really a reason why. Anyway Casey ( waitress) and Brian (manager) took care of us. We sent people there yesterday ( there was a big assembly Sat/Sun in Willoughby) they loved it too! “I met my friend here last night after not seeing her for a long time and her losing her son. We were sat in a nice area away from the bustle. The food was excellent and our server was also wonderful. We sat and cried and caught up until they were closing. We didn’t feel rushed nor were we rushed at all. Wonderful experience. They serve very large portions, my wife and I both got the pork served with rice, potato salad and plantains. This is a must try restaurant that gives great value for your hard earned dollar.“
