“It was a rainy noon day when i arrived. It didn't get busy until 30 mins after I arrived. The waitress was most gracefull and would "fire up" the grill for whatever I wanted. Then it became rather busy...and she handled "everyone" to perfection. The meal was great as was the continued service. Will be back.“
“I’ve been here a couple times so far. I mainly come for karaoke, which are on Sundays & Wednesday. The atmosphere is very friendly, it’s never too crowded. Everyone is very very nice! The prices are good, they do not serve food at the moment but I do hope they would start soon. If you ever need a secret hangout spot, this is the place to be.“
“Stopped there for dinner with sisters and husbands (8 of us). Right when we walked through the door we were greeted with a friendly smile. Our waitress (Jennifer) was TOP NOTCH! She was funny, friendly, and very efficient. Amazing food and if we ever get back to the U.P. we will definitely be back!!!! Thank you Jennifer!!“
“Awesome dinner. First time going to the Rustic Grill and was skeptical after reading recent reviews…but our dinner from the time we walked in was fantastic. Went with another couple and ate in one of their igloos (which was fun). Since it was Wednesday we had 1/2 price apps- we ordered the Brussels sprouts (which were some of the best I’ve ever had - super crispy), pretzel bites -solid but not home made, Gruyère and spinach dip- fantastic, and tater tot poutine which was also great. Our server was quick with our drinks and was very friendly. The apps all came out at the same time and hot. Entrees came out shortly and everyone really loved them as well. Had the house burger which was cooked perfectly, carbonara, Asian bowl and chicken sandwich. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and plan on returning.“
“Came in with a few people, the place was packed. 2 workers walked by us with a scowl on their face and no acknowledgement . Another worker came by and greeted us with a smile ,politely thanked us for our patience and quickly cleaned a table for us. Informed us the kitchen was a little backed up and made suggestions on what items to order, so we could make it to our event on time. We appreciated her honesty and she was spot on in timing of her recommendations. I believe her name was Jamie, she said she just started working there not to long ago we couldn’t believe it, didn’t miss a beat.Best service I’ve had since before Covid , smile never left her face. Definitely will be back, hopefully she rubs off on the other girls.“
“Bar 23 is a nice place with friendly people. The owner had recently a lot of work into it with a full kitchen, and nice bathrooms. The kitchen is not ready yet, and I can't wait until it is. I'm sure the menu will be good, and prepared well.“
