The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. The employees at this establishment were some of the warmest and friendliest group of people l have met since COVID. Fast service, our waiter Dante explained how we were able to mix and match the breakfast we had chosen. With the turn of our head, our meals were before us. The grits were freshly made, the toast was to a perfection with butter melted, everything about the meals were on point. The staff keep the restaurant clean. On their idle time they were cleaning the grill and washing down the floor, no one was standing around on their phones. I give the Waffle House ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“Council Oak is in the Hard Rock Casino but is easily accessible. My Uber dropped us off by the front door and picked us up in the exact same spot. We were greeted upon arrival and were seated promptly as we did have a reservation. Service was well done from start to finish, and we had a manager stop by about halfway through the meal. It is loud inside, so do not expect an intimate meal. Lighting is great, but the ceiling is high and does not give off a cozy vibe. Others may love this, but it could be a detractor for some. Our food was well prepared but lacked the attention to detail on all servings you would get at "The Capital Grill" or "Flemmings." It's not that the food was not good it's just not up to the level for the same price point. Additionally, our portion size was large on the appetizer, small on salad, small on my lamb chop main course, and large on desert. My wife's chicken portion was huge, which was fantastic. All in all it a solid B to B+, and I would suggest you try it to see for yourself as your opinion and experience may be different.”

The garlic mash was delicious as well, and we had the chocolate sin cake i believe it was called: it was rich, but so tasty.

Server is so friendly and introduced food perfectly. Hot teh Tarik served with warm temperature so you could enjoy the drink right away, it is a sweet touch. Roti canai is good, sambal is spicy and lentil curry is good. Curry noodle has spicy kick with a touch of coconut milk and the chicken is nice. Noodle with bbq pork and wanton is delicious. Bbq pork is authentic and delicious. Nasi lemak with beef rendang doesn’t disappoint as well. Beef rendang is cook to perfection, tender with all the spice flavor blended perfectly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you miss Malaysian food.”

You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. I had garlic knots and a small pizza and both were delicious. The pizza was a 10” pie the size of a paper plate. The toppings were fresh and evenly spread over the pie which was perfectly cooked. The crust was the perfect consistency. The pizza really did taste like a traditional pizza I use to have when I was young and we lived next door to a family from Italy. It’s a can’t miss experience, and I will definitely dine here again.”

“Elizabeth, our server, was incredibly generous and attentive. It was my 21st birthday and when she found that out, she brought champagne over for the whole table and even brought us dessert after our main meal, which was fried dough with chocolate in the middle. She lit a candle for me, too. The salad I had was flavorful and the view was amazing; we sat outside.”

“Dinner with friends before a concert. Wait was only 15 minutes and they were able to sit us on the patio as requested. Service was okay. We understand they were busy but drinks seemed to take a while. Food came out staggered which was okay but not ideal. My choices were very good. Both under the 700 calorie list. Everything seemed very fresh and the flavors were balanced very well and not lacking. My steak was cooked exactly as requested.”

We went to celebrate our anniversary and they made us feel so special. We were brought two glasses of champagne (which was delicious!) by our server as she greeted us.

Our server was wonderful! She had great recommendations and was so kind. Also very prompt and on top of everything!

There was a lady I’m unsure of her status. But she helped clean up a table (possibly supervisor? ) and she was speaking down to a young bus boy. To me it appeared to be a language barrier and that made my husband and I uncomfortable to see.

Let’s get to the food!
We started with Brussel Sprouts which were delicious! Highly recommend trying. The soft Gorgonzola dulce was such a nice compliment to the saltiness of the pancetta and perfectly seasoned Brussel sprouts.

For dinner entree my husband had the butternut squash risotto and I had NY strip that was paired with Potatoes.

Hands down the risotto is one of the best dishes I have had. Compliments to the chef on putting together such a fantastic dish. Sweetness paired with a subtle hints of pesto. This is one of those dishes you’re going to crave and will have to go back specifically for.

The Ny strip wasn’t special by any means. $57 I was expecting to be wowed. Overcooked, charred and lacked flavor that I was hoping for. The risotto coming in around $20 was the winner of the night. My husband and I both ate from it and it was enough.

We really enjoyed our evening! Again, the atmosphere was wonderful. So elegant and inviting. The service was fantastic. Our server was just amazing. We felt so welcomed and highly recommend the Brussels the risotto.”
