How can I make you understand in depth how great this place was!. I didn't even mean to stop in this place! I was headed to get food for myself. I saw this little joint with a back porch, camping type pavilion attached to a little oblong brick building that just looked like it wasn't for me.This place...It doesn't scream or pop out at you. As I've said before, my son loves to take me places to shock me. So he said we were going to the "Duck" I was confused...it said Honky Tonk. He pointed out Duck on the wall. I look it up on Yelp and it says "dangerous" biker bar. Looks more like working man bar to me. With pool tables, bowling, and golf games. But I guess there's some kind of history. I asked for vodka on the rocks. They asked if I wanted ice? It was a confusing afternoon. And I felt over dressed.

Formerly Harolds Bar owned by my grandmother and aunt Nora until they sold it to jd about 1983. George Hildebrandt, ole blue eyes, mike, wrong way wilson, big boy, ailieo, barb, lisa, patty, helen, teri, kim, allen, kip, tim, steve and all the others are long gone and we miss them. But theres a new younger crowd. bowling alley is gone . bathrooms havent changed in 40+ years and still need help. But still a nice place off the beaten path. A few movie scenes were filmed here .
