“I don't usually write reviews, and I'm sure of all reviews mine doesn't make too much difference - but I could not let this one go without saying how truly amazing this was. My server Sarah (apologies if not spelled correctly) was absolutely amazing - gave me a free lil palette cleanser of the passion fruit sorbet (freaking amazing). You go in expecting to pay a good bill, but honestly it was SUPER reasonable for the amount of food I got, the service, food quality, and the environment.I felt super comfortable eating alone here, too, so bonus points for that. Also - the food is incredible. My taste buds were so jazzed about it. If I could recreate the sauce that came with the veal short rib, I'd put it on everything haha.Anyway, kudos to the chef, and kudos to my amazing waitress Sarah. Would come back to Cincinatti for this restaurant ❤️”

“While on spring break from Raleigh, North Carolina, my son and I made it a priority to visit Nolia Kitchen after hearing about it and Chef Jeff Harris' James Beard Semi Finalist. Located in the vibrant Over the Rhine neighborhood, known for its local restaurants and shopping, we planned our early dinner around this exciting hotspot. As we arrived at Nolia around 5pm, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The host was both kind and efficient, while our server impressed us with their sweet demeanor and extensive knowledge of the menu. Though we had already perused the menu, our server still took the time to share some additional offerings. With our choices in mind, we placed our orders, which included the following:- Gulf Oysters (6) from both the East and West Coast- Cauliflower- River CatfishTo complement our meal, I indulged in the delightful Goretti Park cocktail. Each dish was served with care and precision. My son particularly enjoyed the East Coast Oysters, while the cauliflower, accompanied by raisins and honey (we asked for it on the side), left a remarkable impression. Personally, my favorite was the catfish, paired with crawfish and grits. The combination of flavors was truly exceptional.During our visit, we were fortunate enough to meet Chef Jeff himself. He graciously shared his vision for the restaurant, adding to the overall amazing experience.Thank you, Chef Jeff Harris and team, for providing us with a memorable dining experience at Nolia Kitchen, worthy of your James Beard recognition.”

“I came here for the lobster crab shrimp BLT and I thought I found the love of my life but not this time. I wish the filling of the seafood portion had more texture with pieces of meat. It puts me in mind of tuna salad. It’s a cold sandwich but the filling was ice cold. The French fries could use improvement as well. Overall the food wasn’t nasty but I wouldn’t order or recommend it. Over priced as well for what’s given. The restaurant is beautiful and I will definitely come back to try another dish. I sat at the bar and the young lady who took my order was very pleasant which is why I ate in.”

“We were here for a mid afternoon meal to celebrate a birthday. The Service was stellar, food was delicious and each person in our party of 5 loved their meal as well as the craft cocktails some of us enjoyed. It was my first experience having an apparel spritz and it was quite enjoyable. The price point per person with beer and cocktails was about $45 per person. I wasn’t sure how formal the attire would be and wore a casual dress with sandals. That was almost dressed up compared to most for the time of day, lots of shorts and jeans, if this helps anyone decide on what to wear. I highly recommend this establishment and will be going back.Dietary restrictions: The server made a point to ask if any of us had any dietary restrictions.”

The food overall was very good, although not perfect. The Amish chicken was a little too salty and the tartare was good but uninspired. The scallop was by far the best dish, I would come back again just for that!!Dessert was delicious, well balanced, with excellent pairings.Overall, would very much recommend.”

We started with the Mezze board, whipped ricotta with seasonal fruit (apricots today), and deviled eggs with pickled chorizo. The pita was so warm and we each enjoyed trying the different savory, herbal, and sweet components to our starters. I really appreciated the atmosphere because it allowed our family to talk and catch up. We also ordered and shared two portions each of the Arancini, chicken kebab, and Oishi shrimp. “We haven't had such a fantastic experience in a restaurant in so long, I forgot what it feels like. We were promptly seated by the hostess, and she was friendly. Our waitress was great and was very polite and attentive. I'll never get tired of having a refill for my drink set down in front of me before I have to ask. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed the decor. I was glad we were almost finished when they sat a couple at the table next to ours, because it is a little close and you're right in each other's conversation. I got the salmon bruschetta to start, and it was so good. Everything tasted so fresh, and the flavors blend beautifully. My girlfriend got the French onion soup, and that looked amazing. She said it tasted really good. We both ordered the filet mignon, and she wanted hers medium rare, and I wanted mine cooked medium. While both steaks were excellent, neither one was cooked as requested, and both were pretty rare. I'm going to let that slide, since everything else was so good. The smoked Gouda Mac and cheese is so damn good, I want the recipe. It's very creamy and delicious. The Brussels sprouts with bacon were excellent and I could eat a bowl of just that. We will definitely be back, and totally understand all the accolades now. Two thumbs up.”

It is topped with these charred vegetables that are incredibly flavorful. We also shared a variety of tacos and large plates. Enchiladas are saucy and delicious, and then we had Carne Asada which everyone loved as well.. I advise saving room for dessert because the night we were there they had flan - which I really enjoyed because it’s more cheesy than eggy (that might not be 100% accurate, but I really like the texture). We began with the oysters and the bone marrow. If you've never had bone marrow like we hadn't, get it. I'm telling you that it's sublime. That was followed with the seasonal spring salad. I know this is a steakhouse and they do their steak as well as anyone, but I've never had a salad that good. It was the single best bite of the meal! After the salads, they brought out our 4oz petit filets, fingerling potatoes, and sauteed mushrooms and onions. We prefer to have small steaks and let it be an element of the meal rather than the meal itself and I'm so glad we did! The entire meal was delicious and I'd hate to have ordered a larger steak and missed out on the opportunity to try some of their other menu items. Finally, we wrapped up the meal with a creme brulee for each of us (they had two types so we got one of each and shared). Creme brulee is my favorite dessert and The Lonely Pine didn't disappoint!I can't wait to go back. I've been talking to folks at work about it all morning and several of them are excited to try the place as well.GO. Enjoy your night out. You won't be disappointed in taking my recommendation.Parking: We had no trouble finding street parking within 30 feet of the restaurant. They also have a free parking lot directly across the street.”

“Drove from Morrow OH to have a special meal for my husband’s bday w our 2 adult children. We made a reservation for 7:15 and were able to be seated right away on a busy Friday night. Unfortunately we were seated by the front door so I was cold most of the evening and the metal seats are very uncomfortable. The $10 pretzel balls were a bummer because we only got 10 of them. My husband loved his Chimichurri Steak, my Royale burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned great, fries were plentiful. My daughter loved her Multibeast burger but my son said his Cemita chicken sandwich was nothing special…he didn’t even eat it all. At $3.50 each I think sweet teas and soft drinks should be free refills. I told the waiter it was my husbands bday and he sd we “might” get a free dessert. However, we did not. If I lived closer to Wyoming I would probably give Tela another chance…skipping the app and drinks.”

“We went there for iftar (fast-breaking meal) during Ramadan and it was phenomenal. Every single dish was excellent! My personal favorite was the mouth-watering lamb kabobs, which were cooked to perfection, soft as butter. We also enjoyed and highly recommend the beef kabobs, chicken thigh, lahmacun, whole fish, and okra stew with lamb. Besides the food, I can't speak highly enough of the service. Our server was Garrett and he really went above and beyond. He checked in frequently and even brought us bowls of warm water to rinse our hands at the end of our meal (because he noticed some of us were enjoiyng eating with our hands). Emma was also superb and provided excellent recommendations (I believe she's one of the owners). You should not miss an opportunity to enjoy an excellent meal with superb service!Kid-friendliness: They were great with our toddler, bringing him an extra plate, spoon, and being so kind when he spilled rice (we did our best to clean up, but it's never perfect).”

“Our third visit since they opened just a short time ago and once again a wonderful experience. This for US is a true dining experience-no “ rush through dinner and get out”. If you are looking for a 30 minute start to finish, I highly suggest going elsewhere! THIS is DINING! Enjoy a cocktail, then a well paced dinner. We would normally order each course all together but were dining with elderly parents who weren't sure what they wanted. This trip we tried the Korean corn dogs( yummy) and the shrimp and lobster “ cocktail “- it was lacking in quantity of lobster for the price was our only complaint. We had to get the Caesar salad which is a MUST and it served 4 adults easily! The lamb chops were prepared to PERFECTION and we tried the mashed potatoes which had a perfect amount of potato texture, not mushy at all. I couldn't resist the scallops AGAIN and they were so delicious and LARGE so I was able to share. Absolutely loved our visit and can't wait to come back and commit to trying different dishes next time! Well worth the price for US for a date night, special occasion. But can also make this a cost effective experience easily by sharing-see you all very soon”
