“From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Our group decided to share entrees, allowing each of us to savor a variety of flavors. This approach not only heightened our culinary adventure but also fostered a sense of community at our table. The server played a pivotal role in navigating our journey through the menu. With expertise and enthusiasm, he highlighted the most popular dishes, as well as those hidden gems that are considered exceptional by regular patrons. His recommendations were spot on, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. One standout dish was the New York strip steak, which was a masterpiece on its own. The steak was encrusted to perfection, striking a delightful balance between a crispy exterior and a tender, juicy interior. Every bite was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail in its preparation. The sides were not mere accompaniments but stars in their own right. The truffle Mac n' cheese was a decadent exploration of creamy textures and luxurious flavors, while the collard greens offered a comforting, home-cooked feel with just the right amount of seasoning. Both dishes complemented the main courses beautifully, enhancing the overall dining experience. To conclude our evening on a high note, we indulged in the butter cake for dessert. This choice was far from ordinary; the cake was moist, rich, and beautifully balanced in sweetness. It was the perfect finale to an already remarkable meal.In summary, our visit to this restaurant was an unforgettable experience, marked by phenomenal food and exemplary service. The thoughtful guidance from our server, combined with the culinary excellence of the kitchen, made for a dining adventure that we will cherish and recommend to others.”

“OCTOBER 2023FAMILY-FRIENDLY FUN IN CINCINNATIIf you're looking for a fun game to play with family (perhaps for a birthday or to take the kids after a special game), then I know the perfect spot that won't entirely break the bank: FOWLING WAREHOUSE CINCINNATI. It's a fun crossover where football meets bowling, located in an old Coca Cola warehouse in Norwood. You can pack in whatever food you'd like, because they don't have a kitchen there. Alternatively, you may have food delivered there. There is a bar for both adult and child beverages (including the old-school slushy machines for kids). Part of the proceeds go to support local charities.I cannot speak to what goes on there after dark, but on a recent trip on a Sunday afternoon for my sister's birthday we were able to play and saw kids young and old in a safe, clean environment playing together. Not sure of many places where one might see a Grandma, a high school athlete and a kid brother or sister all playing a physical game together. AND they do pay to televise Bengals and other sports on multiple projector screens and smaller TVs, so you don't have to worry about missing out on the game! They even have a few arcade games there including basketball and skee ball.NOTE: Any adults (even if you don't intend to have an adult beverage) must have a valid ID scanned at the door.PICTURED: I was too busy "FUNNING" and helping with the younger kids to take pictures. My two sisters and BILs are shown, and there's the one and only take of me with my niece (playing basketball with her basketball-related injuring sustained while playing with Grandpa) and a bonus cousin I've been slowly getting into sports. No filters, just honesty.Parking: PLENTYKid-friendliness: I believe my review speaks to this, but I will elaborate. This is a perfectly safe space for children to play games with friends and/or relatives during the day on a weekend. There are proper safety nets in place around the main play areas. For those with multiple children needing some wizardry and wardrobe or diaper changes, there's a full-sized family restroom right on the main floor. Pack in whatever food you might like for the kiddos. There's a free water station that's accessible to kids also. When I was there, all saw in the eyes and faces of every child was sheer joy.”

“I showed up in middle of the slow period for all food places but they still got me seated and served very quickly. I ordered the shumia(shrimp dumplings) and seafood ramen. Both are amazing although the seafood ramen is a bit spicier than I can handle but I'll just enjoy empty sinuses until my allergies clog my sinuses back up. I definitely am going to have some leftovers but that's more I have to watch how much I eat of the ramen with everything else going on in my day and my specific needs. Any other day where I'm not concerned about eating too much, I'd happily eat all of it even if I end up overeating. The food is just that good”

“Really enjoyed dinner here. Our second trip to here. The servers did a nice job and appetizers were good. Best part of the meal was once again the mushroom capellini. Tried several different drinks and appetizers-the cauliflower was delicious though overpriced for the portion size. The meatballs in sauce were good but lacking in seasoning INSIDE the meatballs and the pesto bread served alongside needed SOMETHING ( touch of sea salt? More pesto?) . We are enjoying Crowns different restaurant offerings and looking forward to trying the others”

“I stopped in for carryout today, having ordered the chicken Tikka saag and chef naan with green chilis....maximum heat. Sree was amazingly patient with me considering it took me forever to pick up my food...and very kind.More importantly, this was probably the best chicken Tikka saag I have had locally. The tandoor chicken was delightfully smoky, and tender, still identifiable in all the spice and creamy spinach. The Naan was perfect. I can't wait for reheated leftovers! Thank you Sree for a very positive experience!”

Split pea soup was really good. I also had green beans with my dish. They tasted like canned string beans and no seasoning. “A very enjoyable dining experience at VV as has been the norm. The food was excellent as was the service, all within a pleasant upscale white-table cloth atmosphere. The only minor disappointment in the evening was our two Sgroppinos. I have ordered them for about 20 years at Nicola's and VV, and they may have changed the recipe - reducing the amount of grapefruit sorbet, creating a more alcoholic, more "watery" drink rather than a delightful unique slush like dessert. Or may just have been a one-off error. I will order one again to see.”

“I ordered the beef rendang on DoorDash, as I'm Indonesian and from Maryland but just moved to Cincy from Myrtle Beach (absolutely no diversity there). It was sweet, spicy, and tender; almost exactly like how my mom would make it. Thank you for a wonderful and refreshing meal to remind me of home, especially as Ramadan is approaching. “Upon recommendation of this place in Silverton, ordered carryout of Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan. The food was delicious, but a tad overpriced. The place still states dine-in as an option (in which case the price would be understandable) and they are certainly equipped for it with booth seating and nice decor but the only business was a steady stream of take away orders. If that is their model moving forward they should consider a smaller space and pass along operational savings to the customer. In any case, will return and look forward to trying a lamb dish and the garlic Naan.”

“Wonderful noodles and wonderful service! Pictures uploaded are actually from three separate visits if that tells you how much I love this restaurant! Bringing friends and family here, there are a surplus of options, but being a noodle house you have to try both the sliced and the hand pulled noodle. Of my personal favorites, I loved both styles of fried noodles with cumin lamb, my roommate loved the sliced noodle with ground pork. Both offer a perfectly chewy picture with every bite. As of recently, I fell in love with the Sichuan street spicy and sour noodles! While they don’t have the same texture as the handmade, the noodles fit perfectly onto your spoon and the fatty cuts of beef are balanced by the spicy sour flavors of the broth. One thing I will say is with the Dan Dan noodles and chongqing spicy noodle, expect those to be a little more “bland” as compared to the fried dishes that absorb the sauces really well. Definitely coming back to try more!”
