Mesa Loca

Guacamole had very little flavor, same with salsas. I had the Cobb salad which was bland and underwhelming. My friend had the shrimp tacos. Again, we just felt like the food was very bland and not flavorful, as you expect from a Mexican restaurant.

We came here for dinner for a bachelorette party because it's one of the few Mexican restaurants that offered reservations for a larger group. I ordered the Al Pastor tacos, and the flavor was delicious, but they were so tiny, it definitely left me hungry and grateful the table had ordered chips and salsa. This is the second time I’ve come here, and it continues to be exceptional. There was a brief hiccup at the start, as they were out of the first few drinks I tried to order (they’re in a transitional period on their taps and sangrias), but Sydney was just so incredibly sweet about it, and the 50 west beer I settled on was amazing, I can’t be upset.Food came out LIGHTNING fast, but absolutely incredible.
