“I've been coming here for years, since the old location run by Chef Alex. Shanghai on Elm is a great family run restaurant with good consistent food andfriendly service. Always a fun atmosphere, it's somewhat of a comforting sanctuary for me in Cincinnati. I'm always welcomed by familiar faces and everyone respects my quirky dining habits! That it's open late is an added bonus knowing that if I roll into town late, I can get a hot meal and enjoy a few laughs. Oh, did I mention the cocktails? They don't mess around, the drinks are outstanding.“
“This was my first time ever eating here and I actually was under the weather and went here specifically to try their chicken noodle soup outstanding very tasty very well seasoned delicious I also had the Alfredo delicious as well definitely will start going here my new go to eatery and the young lady who took my order was very nice !!!!!!“
“My husband and I ordered shrimp pho in meat broth, they brought it to us in chicken broth Didn't like it at allBut we ate anyway because we were hungry and had limited time.We love it in meat broth, it has a wonderful taste of long-cooked meat and bones over low heat and a clear, rich broth, advice to you, don’t take chicken broth! This is no longer real pho but just chicken noodle soup! But ! I want to say that the hall was packed, we literally got the last free table! The room was clean, the tables and tables were clean! This is a huge plus! The kitchen was closed, so it was not possible to see the state of cleanliness in the kitchen.I also wanted to draw attention to pricing! For a small pho $14?This is too much. The plate was really small. The waiters were kind and polite.“
“Wonderful noodles and wonderful service! Pictures uploaded are actually from three separate visits if that tells you how much I love this restaurant! Bringing friends and family here, there are a surplus of options, but being a noodle house you have to try both the sliced and the hand pulled noodle. Of my personal favorites, I loved both styles of fried noodles with cumin lamb, my roommate loved the sliced noodle with ground pork. Both offer a perfectly chewy picture with every bite. As of recently, I fell in love with the Sichuan street spicy and sour noodles! While they don’t have the same texture as the handmade, the noodles fit perfectly onto your spoon and the fatty cuts of beef are balanced by the spicy sour flavors of the broth. One thing I will say is with the Dan Dan noodles and chongqing spicy noodle, expect those to be a little more “bland” as compared to the fried dishes that absorb the sauces really well. Definitely coming back to try more!“

“Michelle, the server is outstanding and pays attention to detail. Food is delicious. Definitely my favorite. And pricing is very reasonable for the serving you get especially during lunch time hours. Visit this restaurant atleast 2 times a month and I live about 20 miles from it.“
“A gluten free dish we get every time are the Singapore noodles. It is a curry flavor with chicken, shrimp, egg, sprouts and green onion in a huge portion size. Reasonably priced and the food always comes out quickly! Authentically run by non US natives.“
“This is a nice reasonably priced neighborhood Chinese Restiraunt with good food, served up quickly at a very reasonable price! Each dinner sized dish easily serves two people! The venue is no frills, carry out only for the moment.Parking: Plenty parking in strip Mall lot“
“If you could light taste on fire!I could barely stop myself to take a picture, this meal earned it. I did the build your own, Veggie broth, shoyu tare, black garlic, woods ear, fried tofu, fried onions, softboiled egg, menma and bean sprouts at a spice level 3.All the ingredients were of good quality and the overall flavor was exemplary. Couldn't recommend more!“
