Had dinner at Subito on Saturday night and Gina’s service was exceptional. I was there with two girlfriends, and she provided great recommendations and was a pleasure to talk to. The Short Rib Campanelle was awesome. The food / wine and atmosphere were good and we really enjoyed ourselves, but Gina made our experience.

The quality of the food was disappointing given the caliber of this restaurant. Dessert was on point, but the calamari and the two main courses we ordered were disappointing. Though, the service was great. Overall, I would not return, as the value and food quality were not aligned.

The space is beautiful. The Brussels sprouts were the best I think I've ever had. The drinks were good, my entree however, wasn't good. I basically left starving. I ordered the cacio e pepe and it had huge, huge chunks of peppercorn in it. (I realize pepper is part of the name, I have had this dish dozens of times) The peppercorn was so large and overwhelming, I couldn't eat it. I didn't make a big deal of it, when the server asked if I wanted a to-go box, I explained about the overwhelming amount of pepper, he just said he was sorry to hear that. It was still a good experience, and it won't prevent me from returning.

Front of the house was attentive. Brussel sprouts were the highlight. Saltimbocca was great. Salmon bordered on over seasoning and Short Rib Campanelle, while having a good flavor, was kind of a mess. The Campanelle was more of a rich stew than a pasta dish. Desserts we had were above average.

Menu was limited but good choices. Bolognese was very very salty as well as the potatoes that came with the filet. Both were so over salted. The ready of the meal especially the filet was excellent.

Excellent meal from start to near finish. Tortellini soup was delicious. Bread and balsamic butter was great. Chicken Saltimbocca was as good a dish as had in a long time. Only negative was the budino desert. Usually mouse like in past, and this was more like jello. Drinks, service, and atmosphere also top notch

A difficult review to write. Let's start with the good: service by Ryan was superb. The dining room is very nice and comfortable. Food rices are not high for the a restaurant positioned as a fine dining one. There is live music, which was a bit too loud for our taste, but might be fine for others. Food, which has always been great in our previous times at Sorbito, was mixed. Our two different salads were large and excellent - definitely " buy again" status. My lamb chops were fine, but my partner's pork chop was so tough, she didn't try to eat very much of it. The sides that came with dishes were ok, but the plating was not attractive. Our desserts were excellent and substantial for the price.

Met friends for dinner and enjoyed the live music and conversation. Our food was outstanding - the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is due to the cocktails - we ordered the 2 Mabel Manhattan and 2 basil hayden Manhattan which all arrived not cold ... it's like the bartender didn't even stir with the ice or in a chilled container - took at least 5 minutes to get to an enjoyable state of coldness. If you're gonna charge top shelf prices please give me a cold cocktail

Delicious food. Very hard to have a conversation with acoustics of room while piano and singer performing. Waiter/Guest couldn't hear each other and desired doggy bag didn't happen, so no leftovers of 2 meals.

My husband and I shared the calamari which was delicious. He had the bolognese, I had the short rib campanelle. We were both impressed with the food, ambiance and service and look forward to returning.

Food was good just too pricey for what it is. Our server was very nice and attentive. Crowd was a bit stiff (we usually sit at the bar but sat at a table). Worth the trip once if you're in the mood to spend more than usual. Probably won't go back as you can better bang for your buck elsewhere in the city.

Beautiful restaurant and friendly wait staff, unfortunately our meal was mediocre (cold and bland). My husband had lamb chops and I ordered pizza; we were both disappointed.

My wife and I had dinner here on a Friday evening. Amazing atmosphere, service, and food.We had the brussels sprouts, pizza, steak, Caesar salad, and pasta. I couldn’t find a negative thing to say about any of the courses. They were all amazing!Beyond the food, the service was spectacular. Dena, our server made us feel extremely welcome and taken care of. One of the kindest servers we’ve ever had. Also, Michael, the supervisor stopped by to make sure everything was to our liking. We were commenting on the beautiful architecture, and he gave us a brief history lesson of the Lytle Hotel. He made sure our night was seamless and special. We will be back 100% and are happy to have found this Cincinnati gem!
