This restaurant is located on the rooftop of the Summit Hotel. IThe menu was well put together and offered some delicious dishes. I had the crispy chicken with cornbread, which did not disappoint at all. The dinner was a bit slow, but since we were staying in the hotel and didn't have to be anywhere else, it was fine and enjoyable actually because we got to sit outside and enjoy the evening air.
I was able to come for lunch today and really enjoyed it. My understanding is that at lunch the culinary students switch weeks between serving and preparing the food. It was really cool to see the culinary education process at work to understand the front of house and the back of house. The lunch was a fixed 3 course menu. I came to the Summit to attend a birthday celebration in their ballroom. Dorothy provided outstanding service without making me feel like I was a burden. I have a hard time chewing, and she happily switched my food for me. It's little acts like this done with a smile that really make nights like this memorable. Thank you!
