“This is a good Asian Restaurant right there on Coventry Blvd in the trendy Coventry neighborhood. The atmosphere was pleasant and spacious. The service was friendly and polite. They did forget the soup for my take-out order so I had to remind them, which was not a big deal. Overall Everything was good.“
“Every delivery order through here was a breeze. The tuna onigiris are warm, fresh, and slap all the time. The hot spicy tonkatsu ramen is too good to pass on. The gyudon Japanese beef rice was tender and slap. Korean cheese hot dog is close to authentic and worth the price. Chicken nuggets were lowkey mid with no flavor, could be battered a bit more.“
“Ginko is a beautiful yet cozy restaurant. You don’t get any cell service which is an unexpected benefit to help disconnect and enjoy the company and food. Everything I have eaten here is delicious. When you leave here you will think about this meal for weeks.“
“First time here and will definitely be back! Affordable and the portions are beyond huge and delicious! We had the Hibachi chicken/steak and Hibachi scallops - all cooked to perfection. Not one gristly bit of steak either! There were surprise noodles in there too that we were happy to try ? Friendly service w a smile, even from the chef in the back! Clean and pleasant atmosphere.“
“A solid dining experience but a clear price mark-up for the “scene”. We had the spicy edamame, steamed buns and sushi. No complaints about the food; it was all excellent. But we are not “scene” diners. Probably will not return unless it was a planned evening out with friends. Not worth the price.“
“We came here for a little Valentine's day dinner. They had a chef's tasting menu for $100 and a Valentine's day menu for $150, which in retrospect we should've done because we ended up paying $170 for 4 sushi rolls, 2 appetizers and a few (5) cocktails. The sushi and appetizers were good, comparable with other sushi places. The old fashioned drink was really good ?We stayed at the sushi bar, and enjoyed watching Chef Lee and the others craft the sushi in front of us.Parking: If you park at the valet, the E 4th valet, which is $40, once you validate the parking ticket at the restaurant, they give you back $30 and you end up paying $10“
“We had a great experience at SASA! The food was delicious and felt very fresh, and the service was very good. One of the better sushi places we've been to in Cleveland and very easy to make reservations online. Definitely planning to come back!“
“Such incredibly amazing service & yummy sushi. They even went so far as to change the music playing overhead, to a request (piano music) to make our dining experience that much more enjoyable. We were the only ones present so far, at that moment, being there for opening of the day. Was fantastic tea, fresh fish, and hot soup. . . I love the beautiful purple flowers that garnish some of the plates & each meal is presented with such an artistic flare - I did not want to disturb the food to eat it, was so pretty as presented ! Could not have been better, for such an affordable price.“
“This place rocks! Favorite Korean spot I’ve found in Cleveland. Staff was friendly and went above and beyond. It’s small and cozy, which makes the experience feel so personal. Plus, the food was delicious. We tried the seafood pancake which contained various seafood delights, and the hot stone bibibap bowl, which was also amazing with how the rice crisped up. Also, make sure you get the hot tea! Will definitely be coming back soon.“
“First time ever in my life I ever tried hot pot and it was pretty good. I had cut fish balls, fatty beef, cilantro, and instant noodles was an amazing combination specially with the spicy broth. Server was a little rude but, all and all was nice experience.“
“First time visit. We found it clean, inviting, economical, and satisfying. The sushi plate was the most artfully presented that I have seen in the local area. The menu is extensive and includes Asian fare of all kinds. The service was attentive and responsive. Think the only miscue might have been the vegetable tempura that could have been a bit crispier. Will be back.“
“I was going to a concert with my companion and I'd read about and been recommended to this place by someone in a Facebook group. I was pretty excited to try what was billed as "Authentic Japanese". Anyone who's familiar with actual Japanese cuisine knows the struggle. The atmosphere was nice, service was great, food was a bit of a miss. They certainly appear to try to be "authentic", and they come close, closer than most any non familiar with Japanese food person would be able to tell, but just not quite. One of my favorite dishes is Agedashi Tofu. I cannot tell you how hard it is to find this dish prepared right. Nearly all of the non Japanese owned or operated "Japanese" restaurants don't come close and many offer what is actually Korean or some other form of "fried tofu", with the Korean version being my least favorite, fried portions of tofu that are very dry and bland, in my experience. This place came close but there were issues. First there were two huge blocks of fried tofu, and it was actually prepared right, but never have I had such large chunks. They're usually several small cubes. They did get the bonito flakes right but I found them not nearly as smokey as they should have been, almost non existently smokey and didn't add to the dish as they should. There was absolutely no greenery, scallions, nothing. The sauce was very almost watery tasting and not very flavorful. Needless to say I was disappointed. Second would be the "giyoza", which was actually the topic of the Facebook group post on someone looking for authentic Japanese prepared giyoza. This place is definitely "not it". The "dumplings" we got were deep fried, in a shell that was thick and powdery tasting to eat. Just not in any way remotely like actual giyoza. The sushi nigiri we ordered was fine, much like any other decent sushi place, so no complaints there. Lastly the Nabeyaki Udon took forever to come out, the tempura to go with it even longer, and the broth was different tasting than expected. At that point we were pretty full, pressed to get to our concert as the wait for our food had set us back. We took the Udon to go but later found the noodles had soaked up all the broth and it was pretty unappetizing. The Yakitori was ok, not the best but not the worst. Lastly, the place is a bit hard to find. The frontage from the street looks like office buildings or something residential and you have to go around that and down a slope to the back bottom of that to get to the actual restaurant and even then we weren't sure we were at the right place until we entered. Overall, while most people will probably enjoy this place, someone who knows Japanese food, may not.“
“It was pretty decent, but some of the dishes left a bit to be desired. Service was fast and polite, and the restaurant itself felt fairly clean. I got the Char Siu, the vegetable spring rolls, the teriyaki wings, and the gyoza. The Ramen dish was definitely the best part, if only just a little plain in flavor. The gyoza and spring rolls were good for appetizers. The teriyaki wings I felt could have been better - something about their texture was off putting - they just felt a little too soft.“
“Stopped here for lunch and had a bowl of ramen with a fried chicken cutlet. Food was very good and quite tasty, and was brought out within 5 minutes. The seats are a little bit uncomfortable, and the music can be a bit loud, so this may not be the best place for a business meeting. Outside of that, definitely a good place!“
“This restaurant is the perfect choice for lunch! Their lunch specials are not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. I always try different options from their menu, and each one surprises me with its flavor. The staff is also friendly and welcoming. Overall, this is a place I'll keep coming back to.“
“They were handing out samples of the seasme chicken and teriyaki chicken! Both were very tasty so I went for the teriyaki chicken! Food was fresh and hot off the grill. Good price too! I will definitely go there again. I liked this food choice over the other options they had in the food court.“
“Stayed in Cleveland for the night and picked up dinner from here. Food was 8/10. The fried rice was really good; it had a nice moisture and amazing flavor. Definitely better than Panda Express. I also ordered the egg rolls and sweet & sour chicken. These items were also very yummy. For the price, I would say I was exceptionally pleased.“
“I'm from Japan and this is probably the best Japanese food in Cleveland. It's better than Shuhei (2nd best) and everything else in Cleveland isn't real Japanese food/isn't ran by Japanese ppl. Would recommend for the food!“
“Went for lunch. Seated promptly. 5 around a table that held 10. Gave us lots of room. Drinks orders, food choice taken all in less than 5 minutes. Chef prepared meal in front of us. Delicious! Had so much left over, at for supper. We both had the Scallops. Recommend!“
“Called in the order. It was ready for me when I went to pick it up 12 minutes later.Parking: Though parking is acceptable stairs down to restaurant are somewhat dangerous. Access to the railing isn't safe for someone who may have difficulty walking without help.“
“I have been meaning to check this place our for a while now, but I finally got to celebrate my birthday there recently and was completely blown away by the entire experience. We passed around all our snacks and drinks so we can try as much as we could, and it was all fantastic. The staff rules, the vibe is right, and we'll all be regulars now!“
“The portions are great I was able to eat from it 3x throughout the day. I ordered a chicken hibachi meal BTW, it was HOT and FULL only waited a few minutes for it! The service is fair, sometimes they're busy preparing other orders is all. It is take out ONLY unless you want to awkwardly sit in the few chairs they have without a table where you wait lol. I would definitely eat here again, it isn't my first time but it has been awhile. At first I thought I would be disappointed with the chicken covered in sauce, the sauce is not a teriyaki sweet sauce I expected which was great because i prefer my food NOT to be sweet. The yum yum sauce seemed to be watered down and barely had a taste, other than that I'd go back....worth 10 bucks.“
“It's ok to order in person or over the phone or online. Just check your food before you leave out the place. My food was ALWAYS correct!! And good and hot!Dietary restrictions: If you ask for more or less of somythey usually can accommodate ...not sure if a wheelchair can fit thru the door but if so the place is spacious wnoyfor a wheel chair. Thermos handicap parking as well.“
“A completely wonderful experience! My wife and I were exploring the area and decided for a quick bite. Great owners, very friendly and attentive. Food was fast and very fresh. Pork belly was out of this world! Noodles were excellent. Cannot wait to go back.“
