Fun, educational tasting tour. Highly recommend.

Had lunch here with some friends and really enjoyed the cheddar soup. The pretzel wasn't great as I was hoping it would be softer and a bit more flavorful. The pierogies were also a bit different than I expected as they were a bit thicker noodle wise than I'm used to. The flavor inside was decent though. Also tried one of these beers and it was quite delicious.

Good beer and good service!

Beer was great, food was great, service was great, food prices were a little on the high side, but, all in all, well worth it!

This review is for brunch specifically - the bloody marys are not very good, they were strangely a light pink color and tasted very watered down. The snacks on top were great though, although the pierogi on top was super cold & a little soggy from resting on top of the drink. We split a brunch sampler board, which is definitely big enough for 2 people. The eggs came out lukewarm, which I assume is just due to the timing of plating them/being picked up. Everything on the board was quite tasty. We sat in the room off to the side of the main restaurant (beer garden room, I think?) - it was very warm in there, but April is a fickle month, so I get why it's hard to manage the temperature! It's a beautiful room though and I'm glad we got to sit there. Also want to shout out the fact that the bathrooms contain free period products which should be the standard everywhere ?

When we lived in the area, this was one of our favorite places in Cleveland for a drink or for a meal. We've lived out of state for years now and GLBC is still a must visit. We haven't had the food in a few years, but we still stop for drinks whenever possible.Lots of charm and ambiance here: sit in the airy "indoor" beer garden area that opens in the summer, enjoy a meal at a high-top in the upstairs bar, take a seat just outside the brewery, or entertain your toddler in the super cool old timey but also modern basement pub.The beer is awesome, rotates regularly, and features pub only options. If you get real lucky you'll find some unique bombers in the gift shop.GLBC is an institution...but not the kind which is stale and unchanging. They maintain their same character while improving and innovating. GLBC is one of the things I miss most.Kid-friendliness: Hanging out in the downstairs pub on a quiet evening is a great place/activity for a well behaved kid. It's not a snooty place by any means, but we felt incredibly welcome on a late Friday afternoon with our happy toddler.

The charcuterie board is a rip off.$20 for two, literally two, thin slices of salame and ham (did I mention tiny?) some olives, jalapeños, cucumber, and toast …..that is a joke.Besides that, the Butcher Cut was good.

Disappointed…Bought a variety 12-pack at my local beverage retailer and all the beers were the same. All Ness Amber Lager. Check your 12 packs before leaving the stores…

First time in Cleveland. This was a great dinner. The pretzel chicken was AMAZING. Love the blood orange cider. The area was super cool too.

Beer was great. Got a flight and loved the Irish Ale and the Strawberry Pineapple wheat was a terrific surprise. Downstairs vibe was just what we love in a brewery: intimate, old English feel. Bartender was a bit aloof which is a brewery ‘type’; a friendlier barkeep would have made the experience a 5.
