“Great place to get Filipino food. Kare-Kare was awesome and great Filipino comfort food. The beef was the most tender cut I ever had and it still has body. Just melts in your mouth. Highly recommend. Can't go wrong with any items on the menu. Nice to know they have a standard menu and a 2 week rotating menu. “I came in for the first time just yesterday, and it did not disappoint!! The chicken shawarma wrap was so good that I ordered a second one, and the crepe was divine!! The sauces that came with it on the side were INCREDIBLE! The owner and all associates I encountered were wonderful and friendly. I have been thinking about it all day because it was so delicious- can’t wait to return! You definitely need to try this if you haven’t yet!”

“We live in the Westpark area and decided on a whim to try Joe De's Pizza (half sheet pizza). It did not disappoint! Our family loves it! We're regulars now. We love how they're open on Mondays when two other local Westpark pizza places are both closed.They deliver and they're friendly. Regular round pizzas are good too. Boneless wings are good. Their poppers with cream cheese! are delicious. Their side salad is average and similar to Athen's Pizza- it's regular iceberg lettuce with no mixed greens or cucumbers but Joe De's provolone cheese is extra delicious.They have desserts that are great too- the cannoli... the shell was fresh and crisp!! No soggy shell which is greatly appreciated. The plain filling is delicious... the only thing that would've made it better was having chocolate chips in the filling.This place is constantly consistent with quality food. We're glad they're here.”

“I went here because they have dine-in seating and I have heard good things. I was not disappointed. The sauce is slightly sweet and gets cooked on top the cheese. This gives it some stickiness, which I love. I got the heart burner, which has a a couple different types of pepperoni, one seemed hand cut because it had a nice thickness to it. The crust was thin and crispy at the edge but nice and airy in the middle, excellent taste as well. I also ordered the party bread, which is basically a white pizza/cheese bread. It had the best texture and flavor I've ever had from a cheese bread. Great place.”

We ordered the a regular chicken sandwich, wing and chicken tenders combo, fries, fried mushrooms and onion rings, lemonade and sugarless Peach tea. The sauces we ordered were gold, honey mustard and spicy raging something (it was sweet n spicy).”

The food was phenomenal.Tom Yum Fried rice - delicious and packed with that sweet and sour flavor.Summer Rolls - Incredibly fresh veggies, and the peanut sauce is especially good, better than other Thai options in the area.Pad Kapow Spicy Basil - my partner got it with duck, which was tender and with perfectly crispy skin, just the way it should be.Crab Rangoon - my partner is kinda basic and orders this everywhere he goes, but we were impressed by how much crab is actually in them! Often you order these and they're just deep friend packets of cream cheese with a whiff of crab, but these had almost a 50/50 ratio. Very tasty.One thing that stood out to me overall is that everything tastes very fresh and clean. All of the veggies, from the lettuce in my summer rolls to the peppers to the green beans to the herbs, we're all extremely crisp and fresh tasting. Everything has that fresh homemade taste to it.All in all, we will definitely be back here frequently, since it's so close to home. This definitely qualifies as a hidden gem. I think it has officially become our favorite Thai place in the area!Friendly Warning: when they say spicy, they mean Thai spicy, NOT White People Spicy. Order accordingly.”

“Updated from years ago...still a five star cafe. Great Irish vibes if you are looking for a quaint cafe on the corner. The only downside is the location being a little out of the way, but in my opinion that's what makes it a hidden gem. Sausage roll, Ham & Cheese Jambon, and the Irishtown Bend coffee were all phenomenal. The food was very flavorful, the pastry crisp and the coffee was not overpowering in flavor. The irish cream mixed with dark blend coffee was nice and mellow so dark lovers may want something a bit stronger. I have been visiting this spot since it opened years and ago and I am pleased to say it's still just as good as when it opened.FYI: Parking just across the street in a small lot is accessible, but limited. You may have to park on one of the side streets and walk a few steps.”
