“Happened upon Grand Day Cafe on a Thursday, late morning. The restaurant is clean, bright and nicely decorated. While a full dining area the acoustics were perfect for a quiet conversation. The host and server were cheerful and pleasant and very attentive, checking in often. I ordered the Chicken Salad Melt on sourdough, which was grilled to perfection. The chicken salad had great flavor and just the right mix of ingredients. I got chips instead of fries and the presentation was inviting and even included a spig of parsley. Coffee was good and my cup stayed full the entire time. Check out their specials of the day board across from the checkout counter. One thing not note is they are a breakfast/lunch venue with limited hours, closing at 2:30 on weekdays and 3:00 on weekends.“

“First time eating at Another Broken Egg Cafe. I ordered the Mardi Gras Omelette, City Grits and Buttermilk Pancakes. The omelette was outstanding!! It was filled with Louisiana crawfish, gulf shrimp, andouille sausage and red peppers. Every bite was filled with seafood goodness!! The grits were cooked to perfection and were super creamy! The pancakes were fluffy and delicious! Our server, Sylvia, was very attentive, knowledgeable and charismatic. We arrived just before the deluge of customers!!! Even though the restaurant was super busy, our food arrived promptly. Overall, it was a memorable experience and we can’t wait to return!!“

“A popular, corner spot to eat breakfast and brunch in Columbus. They said they have "award winning" breakfast tacos for $16. When you say, "award winning" you obviously have to order it. Now a CA gal knows her tacos. These tacos were good. You can taste the fresh made corn tortillas. Crema, cotija cheese and avocado made it stand out. I liked the chorizo and egg combo as well. It came with an ear of street corn which was good. Make sure to have clean hands because this could get messy. It is delicious. Here's my issue, my standards for tacos are pretty high coming from CA. While the taco was good, a $16 price point for 3 relatively small tacos in a paper vessel seems somewhat expensive, especially sitting outside in a cold patio. Maybe $12-13 and I would have been raving about this place. Surprisingly food is just as expensive in Columbus as it is in CA.“

“Stepping into the bustling hubbub of Katalina's, Too! is an experience in itself. The place is often busy, a testament to its popularity and the culinary delights it offers. Yes, the prices may be on the steeper side, but every bite justifies the cost and reinforces why people continually flock to this eatery. The Mexican "French" Toast was a delightful fusion of flavors. It's not your typical French toast, but a unique spin that's both surprising and satisfying. The blend of spices and the soft, fluffy texture of the bread made each mouthful a joy.But the real star of the show were the Pancake Balls. These heavenly morsels were simply out of this world. Perfectly cooked, with a beautiful balance of sweetness and tanginess, they were a true delight. Each bite was like a little surprise, leaving you eagerly anticipating the next.Yes, Katalina's, Too! may be busy, yes, it may be expensive, but it delivers an exceptional dining experience that leaves you understanding why people can't get enough of it. If you're looking for a place to indulge and enjoy some truly delicious food, Katalina's, Too! should be on your list.“

“I will start with customer service. It was amazing. Dom was very helpful in assisting us with customizing our orders, offering suggestions, getting our food out promptly and checking back to see if anything was needed. He didn't miss a beat.Second.... the food.My oh my... everything was delicious... waffles, eggs, grits, egg rolls, bacon, bagel, french toast, mimosas and more. The only thing I didn't care for was the red peppers on my potatoes because they were a bit wet/soggy.The place was clean and had a cozy atmosphere. There is parking in the front and back of the restaurant. An 18% gratuity is added to each bill and goes to your server. You can add more if you want.Definitely give this place a try.I needed a nap after eating so much.“

“This was the best corned beef I've ever had. It was seasoned beautifully. I went right when it opened and it was pretty busy. Be ready for a wait. If you're looking for a nice place to eat while you're at the North Market, I would recommend going upstairs. There were hooks for your jackets and every seat had close access to an electric outlet if you're looking to do some work or charge a phone.“

“We just ate at Skillet for the first time and loved it! Owner is super nice, and the restaurant is small, intimate and charming. Coffees are super good (Cinnamon Bun Latte - hot, Cold Brew with Maple honey to sweeten). My wife and I both ordered the Pimento Omelet, and it was very delicious; our daughter had the Cheesy Hashbrowns - also very delicious. I must comment that the plates of other food coming out of the kitchen looked soooo delicious! Will definitely be back here MUCH more. ????⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: The owner’s son helps, and he is probably 12 years old. We saw families eating here too. Bring your family!“
