Yummmm. Went for a Mother's Day dinner. Everything was spot on and enjoyed by all. Loved the Scotch Egg and Newkie Brown. Sad to hear it will be closing, we just found it. We will be following the Facebook website to see where we may enjoy this Chefs English pub food.

Too bad they're closing... the food is well thought out, very good, and big servings. We will definitely be watching out for whatever the owners decide to do next!

Surprisingly only open until 8 on a Friday, maybe covid hours. Not a cheap place to eat but the food is outstanding. Best scotch egg I've ever had. The yorkshire pudding covered in chicken curry was great both in size and taste, the shepherd's pie a more reasonable portion and very good, made with lamb. The fish and chips was pretty heavily breaded and, in my opinion, overdone such that the huge slab of fish was too mushy. Very worth the stop in.

Well done scratch made food. The appetizer soufflé was decadently rich from the sauce, yet light and airy from the soufflé. The scotch egg was perfectly cooked, though the coarse grain mustard dip was more mayo with a hint of coarse grain mustard. The fish and chips were excellent, though I had hoped for mushy peas instead of whole peas, and the tartar could use more pickles. The carrot cake and lemon posset were both excellent. Service was attentive. Overall a very nice experience and we will be back. Some reviews mention the price point being somewhat high. I thought the prices to be reasonable for a place that is not reheating frozen food, but instead serving quality food and drinks.

This was our first visit to Geordie's and it definitely won't be our last! I've been looking all over for a traditional english breakfast and this place knocked it out of the water for sure. The location is in the rougher part of town, but there is a drive through liquor store right next door for any of your beverage needs! We came right at opening at 9am on Saturday and were greeted by our waiter. The inside was super clean and organized; COVID ready! We were sat in a booth in the main dining room and told our waiter that we definitely did not need the menu - he said; "You're here for the english breakfast huh?" He knew why we were there! We ordered a scotch egg as an appetizer and 2 english breakfasts. Unfortunately the 1st scotch egg needed to be sent back as the pork around the egg was completely raw - but he looked at it and agreed so we waited on the second to be made to order. The breakfasts came out and they looked glorious - the reason for the downgraded rating is that the menu had said fry bread and we ended up getting toast. Fry bread is my absolute favorite and I enjoyed it with every meal when I visited London so this was a bit disappointing. Everything else on the plate was cooked perfectly and each item had great flavors, especially the mushrooms. the scotch egg came out towards the end of our meal so we were a bit full - but it had great flavor and was cooked perfectly the second time around. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items! Nice work to all!

The food is delicious! l've had the English Breakfast, The Bangers and Mash and The Little Hot Dog Wellington's. everything is cooked perfectly and the portions are generous! I literally will be trying everything on the menu. All my meals were delivered, So I can't speak on the dine-in experience but I imagine it's just as fantastic. do yourself a favor and give this place a visit or order on DoorDash like me, to get actual good food in this city.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Patient. Professional chefs who know their trade. Handwritten note of "thank you for supporting us" was an awesome touch.

This is a cute little place on S. High St. The interior is pristine and very accommodating. Our server Clint was knowledgeable and professional. I also understand he is part owner. The breakfast was very good. The full English breakfast might be a tad pricey for what you get. I will attach pictures of the interior and the breakfasts. Check this place out it might be a hidden gem.

Wonderfully authentic high quality British fare! The Newkie Brown, Fish & Chips, and Shepherds Pie are delicious!! The dishes are highly creative and brilliant. My favorite restaurant in Columbus!!!!!

I have to say, the service at Geordie's was extraordinary, our server was so attentive even kind enough to ask us if the temperature of the restaurant was comfortable for us. Our appetizers were awesome, we had the mini Wellington's and the Parmesan soufflé. A great start to our dinner. My mom liked her meal, I don't remember what it was called but it had a beef stew like filling that was super tasty, she wasn't a fan of the mashed potatoes. My brother had a Shepard's pie with a lamb filling, he liked it, I wasn't a huge fan but I don't like lamb very much in general so my opinion is probably invalid on that one. I ordered the fish and chips for myself, the meat itself was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, the breading was tasty too but the dough wasn't cooked all they way in some spots. We all loved the french fries. Over all it was a good experience but I can't say it's a favorite spot for the price vs flavor.

Attempted to have dinner on a Friday evening and was very rudely turned away saying the place was at capacity. If capacity is one table and an empty bar area I can only guess you will not get a table. The group was so excited to try this local place and support new local restaurants. This unfortunately left a sour taste in my mouth.

A terrific little place I happened upon while in town for work. I’m not a beer guy but the selection normally available was impressive. After a long workday I’d built up a big appetite. I started with a Scotch Egg; terrific. The sauce on the side was outstanding. Decided to try this restaurant’s version of a steak and ale pie—and was NOT disappointed! With a side of wonderfully seasoned chips the pie itself was full of flavor and loaded with beef. Having become a huge fan of sticky toffee pudding I had to order the dessert to go…it also did not disappoint. Since it’s going to be a long while yet before we can travel to our favorite country again, I am always searching for an authentic taste of our favorite meals from our last visit. Should I ever be in town again I’ll be back—this restaurant is a winner.

Was great. Had the full English Breakfast. The bacon (rashers) were so great and reminded me when I was over in the UK. The sticky toffee pudding was so good. I shared and wish I had my own. The staff was good and wasn't overbearing. They gave time to talk but were always there with a refill. The decor was nice and not overdone with UK nick nacks. They did have UK Brown Sauce which was nice to see.
