Whereas the Giant Eagle food section is very nice, the "service" at the pharmacy, for vaccines, leaves a lot to be desired. There doesn't seem to be a system for getting people in and out, expeditiously. There is one person who administers the vaccines, and she determines when she will give them. People are kept waiting excessively, and they are not informed when they will be called. In my case, I waited over one hour for a routine vaccination. When I tried to ascertain when I would be called, after waiting 45 minutes, I was initially told, that it could be another thirty minutes. When I later tried to ask the person who was administering the vaccine, if I could come back, she was not nice about it, and shouted at me "to sit down", in front of her staff. I resent her rudeness. I will not use that pharmacy, again!!

The Giant Eagle on West Broad Street in Lincoln Village is my "go to" grocery store as well as the pharmacy. The employees are always so helpful and kind. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because of the questionable characters that sometimes sit outside of the store and beg for money. There is a police officer inside and of course because of this the inside of the store is safer, however I wish these individuals would be chased away from the outside of the store so I didn't have to tell them to take a hike myself. Seems dangerous especially since they are right around the corner from the pharmacy drive thru.

They cannot find their inventory of liquor. Ohio liquor shows they have it (updated today). They refuse to even check the back. I have dealt with this exact issue getting liquor here before. They magically found a box of what I was looking for after hounding them to keep checking their back room. It must be a mess back there. Don't bother coming here.

This is a pretty good Giant Eagle. The produce is usually fresh. The staff can be rude at times but for the most part they are nice. Its in a convenient location so if you like to do all your grocery shopping at once it is nice because Kroger is across the street.

So nice :) I needed a cake within 2 days and they could do it. Did it over the phone and when I got there to pick it up they showed it to me and it was perfect! Only $20. It was a simple cake with just writing so, I knew it'd be fine. Got sprinkles and candles to apply myself, and they had a great selection of balloons. Got in and out in 10 minutes. Made my partners 21st so much more special. (bakery lady was in the back for almost 2 minutes though and I didn't know how to get her attention. Was on a time crunch. Maybe put bell at counter?)

I was in the store today. They had one cashier working with a line of 6 people. To save time, I went to use the self checkout, but ran into several issues (items didn’t scan properly, weight off, etc). I ended up having to cancel my transaction and went to the line with the cashier. While the cashier was very helpful, several other employees were not and were essentially standing around. If customers will be scanning and bagging groceries, will we enjoy an employee discount at some point?

I try to avoid shopping here unless I absolutely have to get something in a pinch. Available staff in the aisles can be very inconsistent at times. The only doorway going in and out of the store can be jam packed, especially at prime shopping times. Then. There's the rewards card and ensuing perks. A couple weeks ago, I stopped by for a simple dozen eggs. My total bill cost me a whopping 99 cents. Of course I scanned my Giant Eagle card so I can get the points. Well, I didn't get a point for my eggs. I would have received a point at their competitor right down the street for the exact same thing. That drove me nuts.
