Dietary restrictions: I love that they have a handful of flavors that are dairy free with the “perfect indulgence” ice creams. I always go for the black raspberry chocolate chip perfect indulgence.

I visited Columbus to have my dog evaluated at the Ohio State Veterinary Clinic. I received some difficult news and decided to drown my sorrow in ice cream. I wish I could recall the name of the young man behind the counter to give credit where credit is due. He could tell that something was wrong and went out his way to help me pick out a dish and be nice. It wasn't much, but it helped. So, thank you to that young man for what he did. Oh... and the ice cream was great too. My dog enjoyed his pup cup and I had a Bucky ice Sunday with hot fudge and pecans.

This is a fairly prominent ice cream chain within the Midwest and while the flavors are less "creative" and more "standard," they do the flavors properly. I visited on 2 occasions and tried the black raspberry chocolate chip, which is their most popular flavor, as well as the seasonal midnight snack which has pretzels and chocolate, like a cookies and cream but more elegant. The black raspberry chocolate chip is quite fruity, although the emphasis is more on the sweeter chocolate chip flavor. Definitely sign up for the app for a free ice cream cone!

I grew up on Graeters and have not been into one in quite some time. After my visit tonight I am sad I have been missing out! It was so so good. The cake batter ice cream has actual chunks of cake in it and there are so many choices of flavors. The best part was my scooper, Gracie. She was extremely friendly and the service was honestly a pleasure. She even came around the counter to hand me my cup after finishing. I appreciate that Graeters gives opportunities to students who are just getting started in the work force and trying to learn. Thank you Gracie, for making me a renewed Graeters fan- I will be back soon!!
I tried the hot honey crunch flavor and it was tasty but my single scoop cone came out pathetically melted and shabby. I almost thought I was being punk’d when the young server gave it to me. High marks for flavor, abysmal marks for value.

My friend liked his ice cream in a waffle cone but I really did not like my vanilla shake. It tasted like they had added sugar syrup to it - so sickeningly sweet that it didn't even taste creamy. It was also too thin. Nowhere near being worth the $6 price they charge for a SMALL. I couldn't drink more than half, just too sugary.

While I do recommend Graeter's on principle, I am unable to enjoy most of their products due to my body having issues processing lactose.
