“*extremely late post*My girlfriend told me how amazing she thought Lavash was, so I decided to give it a try with her. I really wasn't in the mood to venture out on what I ordered since I had been craving fish and chips all that week. Come to find out, they have it on their menu. I was not let down, and my craving was definitely fulfilled. I love hummus, and I thoroughly enjoyed theirs. My girlfriend had some type of wrap, I really can't remember, but it did look good. We haven't been back just yet, but it is on the list as a must return to. Keep up the good work.“
“The gentleman at this food truck was kind & quick! Food was fresh & delicious.Just passing through Columbus, but would highly recommend this truck & definitely stop by again if I’m ever back in town! (Would have included a picture but it looked so good, I just had to dig in)“
“Excellent spot to eat, truly authentic cuisine, my wife and I have spent many years in the Middle East and it is truly great to find a place that's great with really great food!! My wife is fasting so great Vegan options and I love the gyro meat, so it took care of both of our needs ?# ? It is currently Ramadan, so their hours have been adjusted for this religious holiday, so make sure to check, before you go. It's worth the drive!! ??Vegetarian options: If you're fasting, they have you covered!!Parking: It's hard to park in front of Zaytoon, only because the parking ?️ lot in front is shared my 3 other restaurant's , but a huge parking lot is on the side with plenty of availability for parking ?️.“
“This is one my favorite taco spots in the city, they have CHICKEN birria tacos, SHRIMP tacos and plenty other options that I haven’t got to try yet because the chicken tacos are so good and hefty they got me hooked. These chicken tacos are fat! The price is very reasonable and they give out buzzers to alert you when your order is done, 10 mins usually. I go here once a week at least if I can get out of work in time. They moved closer to my job so I’m happy with the new location.“
“Title: A Taste of Compassion: A Halal Food Truck that Goes Beyond the PalateIn the heart of our bustling city, where the aroma of diverse cuisines mingles with the urban symphony, there exists a hidden gem that not only satisfies our taste buds but also warms our hearts – a halal food truck like no other. My encounter with this culinary haven transcended the realm of gastronomy; it became a story of compassion, resilience, and the unyielding spirit of community. The food truck, adorned with vibrant colors and infused with the irresistible scent of spices, caught my attention one fateful evening. What began as a quest for a delicious halal meal turned into a life-changing experience. Little did I know that this modest food truck and its owner would become the unsung heroes of my family's life. The first bite was an explosion of flavors, a perfect symphony of spices that danced on my palate. Each dish was crafted with precision, a testament to the culinary expertise of the owner, whose passion for halal cuisine shone through every bite. But it was not just the food that left an indelible mark on my memory; it was the owner's kindness and genuine concern for his patrons that set this food truck apart. One evening, tragedy struck my family as our home became engulfed in flames. Amidst the chaos and despair, it was the owner of this halal food truck who emerged as our unexpected savior. Hearing about our plight, he not only extended a helping hand but went above and beyond the call of duty. His quick thinking and resourcefulness ensured the safety of my family, as he played a pivotal role in guiding us to safety and alerting the authorities. In the aftermath of the fire, the halal food truck became a symbol of hope and resilience for us. The owner continued to support us, providing meals, and even organizing a fundraising campaign within the community to help us rebuild our lives. His actions spoke volumes about the power of compassion and the sense of kinship that can be found in the unlikeliest of places. The food served by this halal food truck is undoubtedly exceptional, but it is the warmth of the owner's heart and the sense of community fostered around the mobile kitchen that make it truly extraordinary. It's not just a place to savor delicious halal dishes; it's a sanctuary of compassion and support, a reminder that even in the face of adversity, the human spirit can shine brightly. In every bite, I taste the flavors of gratitude and resilience, making each visit to this halal food truck a heartfelt journey. It's more than just a place to satisfy culinary cravings; it's a haven where the bonds of community are forged, and the taste of compassion lingers long after the last bite.“
“Super friendly staff. Great portions and great food. Chicken, lamb, and rice were all great and topped with the perfect amount of white sauce. Seasoned fries were absolutely amazing! Wish the hot sauce was a little spicier, but not a big deal.“
“Might be the best Middle-eastern food in the Columbus area. Definitely the most affordable.....great value given the large portions. One plate can easily serve 2 diners. It's a food truck not far from a freeway exit so really no ambiance, but convenient. The 1-2 persons in the food cart were efficient and nice. We received a can of soda for each of the plates we ordered. The chicken was shredded and had a mild curry seasoning. The lamb was tasty gyro meat, cubed rather than slices. The falafels were crunchy yet moist. The white sauce and the spicy sauce added flavor and moisture to the dishes. The rice was flavorful even w/o sauce. Each plate also came with a smattering of veggies and a few pieces of tasty pita bread. Bottom line, even though the menu is limited (about 12 items), you can't go wrong ordering any item.“
“These guys from Iraq, definitely know how to make a solid mix plate. The food is great, though the white sauce is different than most places. It's a bit more tangy and spicy. I ain't knocking it. Rice was cooked well. Both lamb and chicken were seasoned very well.Absolutely no complaints. In sha Allah, I will come again.“
“Was on a road trip and found this Yemeni restaurant! Food was big portions and service was good. The amount of food can feed alot of people lol. Our favorite was the lamb hanith and I love the tea very good flavors and soft and moist meat. The soup came with the order free which was nice and kept us warm in the weather alhamdulilah it was good. Enjoyed it.“
“Food - 4/5Service - 5/5Ambiance - 4/5 (Only Outdoor seating available)Price - Mid RangeOrdered a takeout for 6 piece wings, and a chicken teriyaki sub. The wings were awesome, but the bread for the sub wasn't great. It felt very dry. The flavor was good though.Overall, it's worth a visit if you're around.“
“Undisputed best food truck out west. Food is great, portion size is fair, and prices are inexpensive. The kitchen is visibly clean, and the workers are wearing and changing gloves. I usually get the mix over rice, with both chicken and lamb, and it's delicious.Parking: It's in the parking lot of a gas station“
“They have really good food! It's in a really bad area. I was approached by a gentleman trying to sell me a gun! When he pulled it out I thought I was gonna be getting robed but thankfully he was just trying to sell it. He said it was stolen and he needed to get rid of it! The owner never asked him to leave.“
“Well everything were balanced very well. The lamb were perfectly seasoned, the rice had beautiful nice spice aroma, the white sauce was at perfect thickness. And portion size were very generous. Also the price were so reasonable, near to free. Highly recommend this halal gyro place. The guy working there is really friendly and would take time to put all efforts in food.“
“My biggest peeve with this store, any store really… is 90% of their items are not marked with a price. I do not want to have to ask the cashier every 2 minutes how much is this. I purchased a bag of rice for $27 that’s $20 at Costco. But Costco was out of the way so I payed the $27!But on the other hand, they had everything i needed on my list. They have cheeses, yogurts, nuts, olives/pickles, bread… honestly any “Mediterranean” needs.“
“A lot of places don't pay attention to special requests, but this one does. I got the Saffron Special Pack with goat tikka masala and vegetable samosas, it also came with naan, basmati rice, and a drink--amazing value and a lot of food for the price $. I asked for extra spicy and they made sure it was extra spicy! Delicious wholesome food with plenty of meat, whole spices and fresh vegetables. When you pick up, you need to ring BOTH doorbells: the small one that says Saffron, and the big one that allows them to see who's at the door. This was new to me but they called me and explained over the phone and he was very nice about it. Impressive quality and prices, I will be back here again!“
“When I go to this food court, I’m always at odds because I want something homemade and delicious and so Sammy’s didn’t disappoint. One of the best dishes I’ve tasted in a long time. Fresh, healthy, flavors were beyond words. It reminded me of New York. That’s quality good cooking! I’ll be back again and again! That’s a promise!“
“Wonderful food. Fast service. They were knowledgeable about their menu and brought out everything we asked. Gave us tea and dessert too.Vegetarian options: Lentil soup and sidesKid-friendliness: High chairsWheelchair accessibility: No steps and wide bathroom stall“
