The takoyaki is a great deal, super flavorful and remind me of the takoyaki I had in Osaka.

The kimchi added a great kick to my Tonkotsu ramen and the paitan ramen was pure and tasty

“It was Valentine's Day, and City Barbecue was about to close because they didn't have enough food. Wow!My daughter wanted to go there but that wasn't happening. I mentioned Hibachi Express, and she was fine with it.We ordered the food, and it took a while, but it was ok because it gave me and my daughter time to talk.They are usually prompt with the food.My daughter was very pleased with her shrimp and salmon ? and I was good with my chicken and shrimp.“

“This isn't a place I would choose to eat unless I want noise and no tables. The food, however, is better than Gengigo. The meat is fresh tasting, cut against the grain, and not filled with grissel. Served with an egg fried rice, side of cabbage, and 2 sides of sauces. *Please comment for any allergies. They might be able to make suggestions. You can opt not to get the cabbage too. There's a lot of customized choices available. It's a large portion that is filling, flavorful, and healthy. Would highly recommend to most.

“Wow! Some of the best freshest sushi I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over the world so I know fresh sushi when I eat it! Beautiful decor and cozy inside. Great for a date night or dinner with friends as you are right in the heart of the Short North. I dined on a Wednesday night and it was busy! But our server did a fantastic job of checking in with us and updating us on any food or drink delays which is fantastic customer service!! Sushi fans of Akai Hana..You gotta try DOMO.. Anyways we ordered and after an hour and a half only had soup and salad. And the 2 kids meals. The kids had ate and were starting to turn in to pumpkins and being that food was not on the grill yet we decided to leave. The manager was super chill about it and took care of us. While this was a poor experiance, due to a i assume now reduced staff, and a hoppin restaurant we will fefinately return for redemption, and we urge you not tonpass this place up based on our review. Again, management was wonderful over the issue. The server who got thrown in the mix was wonderful. So check this place out!

There is only one server, though he is superb. Food takes a long time to prepare. So overall you would have to wait a bit longer than in other places.

The place is a bit away from the main street so it's not at the most convenient place. The lighting is a bit dark. On the other hand, it's very quiet, unlike some high-end restaurants nearby.

With all of the above, the most important thing is the food: it's too good so we used this place as our cafeteria during our week-long stay in Columbus!!!

And the price is reasonable, unlike some high-end places nearby!“

“My son and I each got the chicken teriyaki combo that includes a drink and egg roll. We didn't care for the egg roll, it was mushy and tasteless. But the teriyaki chicken was amazing and you get a big portion for the reasonable price! There is no dine in seating, pick up only. Which is fine, I waited in my car after ordering and would rather eat at home anyways. Definitely recommend everyone try this place at least once!“
