“I’ve been twice and ordered the fish lunch special both times. The first time, no complaints. However, today I ordered online and arrived in time to pick up my order. They boxed it after I arrived and when I got home (4 min drive), my food was barely lukewarm. I called and all they could offer was an apology (as well as assurance that the food was made not long ago). I would just microwave it but there’s a green sauce on top that isn’t really meant to be heated. The flavor was there though so I’m only docking one star. Long story short, make sure your food is hot! ?“

“I freaking love this store.it has open my eye and belly to way food options. Love trying new stuff there. The little restaurant they have in the is ok. The owners are nice when ordering from them. The set up is wearhouse style which is cool. The only issue is there is language barriers, and employees not able to answer your questions.“

I got the attieke without plantains so I can make it myself at home lolThe fish was really good, I would say it was a little overcooked because it was slightly hard but other than that YUM! I love how it came with the maggi cube to season my own garri. lol unfortunately I have no photos but just know it’s worth it.“
“Their food is incredible! We had the Fatayas, poisson braise (grilled fish) dinner, dibi chicken, and Jollof rice with chicken - they were all well-spiced and delicious! The sides of plantains, sauteed onions, and sauces were great add-ons. The staff was also very helpful explaining options when I called in to place my order. I found Dabakh through a Columbus food Adventures post and so happy that I did, we will be back!“
“We (Elna and I ) share a birthday together, and she surprised me with a great great great well seasoned grilled tilapia with banku that last year April 15th that my husband still RAVES about. “The food here is sooooo freaking delicious, I just wanna eat evertything. Just know the food is addictive and your back will be as wide as a 55" inch tv, I literally cannot stop coming here. I need to hurry up and find me a Ghanaian husband to make me this food since I spend all my money here.The people that work here are funny and friendly. Service is pretty fast and they always have good music playingI only wish they did more to make the place feel more inviting for dining inside instead of getting food to go.“
“I cannot get enough of their Pounded Yam FuFu and Egusi Soup. It is absolutely delicious! This was my second try at partaking in West African cuisine, after a not so impressive meal I had a few months back. I’m so glad I gave this place a try. Especially realizing that there are so many different interpretations of these dishes across the continent. Yam Fufu and Egusi Soup: The Fufu comes fresh, hot and the perfect texture for pulling. While the flavor is mild, it’s a wonderful companion to some of the more savory soups/stews. The Egusi Soup has a powerful, spiced and seasoned flavor profile. I did have to adjust to some of the thin fish bones in it - but not out of the ordinary or too unexpected when cooking with dried fish. The flavor it brings is worth the minor inconvenience. I get mine with the 2 chicken drumsticks - which are well cooked and also wonderfully seasoned. I’d like the option to order without a protein on Uber Eats, though. Jollof Rice, Plantains with Beef: The rice was coated and seasoned very well! I enjoyed the spice, flavor and texture of the rice. My beef was a tad tough. I really only wanted to try the rice, but on the Uber Eats app currently requires a protein - so, I’m not taking any points away for it. Plantains were *chef’s kiss*! If you’re like me and want to experience African cuisine from right here in Central Ohio - I highly recommend this place. Also, very good portions for the price.“
