“Great experience in the building that housed the original Rocknes - gives the venue a pleasant, "old school" vibe. Everything here is done from scratch. I had one of the best hamburgers I've had in recent NEO experience and my wife's gnocchi were spot on. Cocktails were very good (and generous!) and a small but thoughtfully chosen wine list. The servers were extremely friendly and welcoming, and were "on it" in every way. Very nice time, will be back!“
“First time at Tiki Underground, drinks were great and the food was especially fantastic. Chef Justin's "One Bite Kitchen" is killing it, the food is the best around and well worth the money! If you haven't been here yet then it's a must “
“Stopped here today for the first time about 40 minutes before closing. They were super accommodating and Natalie our server said to not rush at all. They make 99% of everything from scratch. I am gluten sensitive so ordered their brined chicken and avocado wrap but instead on their home made gf toasted bun. Chicken was super moist and delicious and this bun was to die for. Comes with thin hand cut and tasty fries. I will be back for sure.“
“Baxter and his team have created the coolest Speakeasy in Akron!! Reminds me of the cool spaces I frequented while living in the Chicagoland area. I've shared a few pics before opening hours. Everyone is so personable and engaging. I love the vibe and energy here, and the drinks (thanks Shevy) are amazing!“
“My son took me here for my 65th birthday. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food and beverages were yummy. After finishing our meals and sitting there conversing with each other, our waitress brought us 2 complimentary glasses of champagne. I had a great birthday and would definitely return.“
“Stopped in Arnie's for brunch this past Sunday and it was amazing! The breakfast burger was the best burger we've ever had, seriously. The croissant sandwich and potatoes were amazing and the kids loved their fruit loop pancakes. If you haven't been to Arnie's lately, I highly recommend giving it a try. New menu, new chef, same warm hospitality.“
“Went here on Tuesday night with friends for dinner and a drink. The food was good and my friends enjoyed their drinks. The place is small but cute. They were playing music and it was nice. The table where we sat was a little dark for reading a menu but thank God for cellphone lights. Also the waitress was not the friendliest person but she got the job done. All in all, I would definitely go back and recommend to others to try.“
“BLU Jazz+ oozes opulence with its exposed brick and modern touches, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels both sophisticated yet delightfully approachable. The downstairs venue (handicap accessible) winks at the golden age of jazz clubs with its elegant design and focus on live music. It feels like a hidden gem, perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out.I attended Apollo's Fire performance of 'Taverns of 1610' exploring the Baroque style of Tavern Music throughout the world during this time. First off, fantastic performance - if you have an opportunity to see them, go! Secondly, this venue is uniquely gifted to provide intimate performances. You truly feel like you're at a VIP private performance. You're able to dine-in during the performances as well as enjoy an impressive wine list and mixed drinks. The menu is curated with a limited selection focused on taste and efficiency. I had the steakhouse burger with fries and it was delicious. Seasoned hand cut fries... Mmmm...is there anything better?! However, it would be an injustice to not state that the burger was the burger you dream about, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. I'm always saying, "I just want a good burger, where can I find that?"... Now I know the answer.Blu Jazz+, thank you for delivering on that and surprising me with an experience I never knew I was missing out on.Just to put your mind at ease, this is a genuine review from an Akronite who digs a bit of vocabulary flair. No sponsorship, no prompting, just a desire to share my awesome experience. As an independent reviewer, I strive for clear descriptions that paint a picture, while keeping things fair and accurate. I also enjoy providing artistic, yet visually accurate photographs for your consideration (with accurate credit). Mission accomplished, hopefully?Vegetarian options: I know the menu listed Vegetarian & GF options, however, with a limited menu as is, limiting it further will likely leave an either/or option to select between.Wheelchair accessibility: The staff was ready to accommodate my personal medical needs immediately, without hesitation and with extreme care. Personally, I reached out to them and they provided a very handheld approach focused on ensuring I had a fantastic evening with a best approach option and detailed instructions on using the lift.“
“I usually go on Friday's or Saturdays bartenders are always friendly drinks are very reasonable very low key and if you love to karaoke even if you can't sing, everyone is very supportive the president's lounge would definitely be your spot!“
“I dined here for the first time Friday night with a friend of mine. The food, drinks and the young man playing the piano were excellent. We thought the service would be great as the waiter seemed friendly. However, the service was average. Not once did our waiter (his first name has been mentioned in other reviews recently on your page) come back to check on us to see if we were enjoying our meal, nor did he ask if we needed our drinks refilled (including water) until it was time for us to leave. We noticed that he went to other tables multiple times that were seated after us. We were very disappointed. If I return in the future, I will ask to be seated in another section.“
“We love going to Alexander Pierce for dinner, my wife and I usually go about four times a year and it never fails. Brittany was a terrific server and the food was spot on great. I will continue to go forever. We will be revisiting this weekend with my mom and dad, so double treat for us“
“Overall good experience. Parking is across the street. restaurant seemed OK. I did not try the food but it looked appetizing, and the bar was efficient and decently priced. Location is good and with in walking distance to multiple restaurants. I would stay there again no problem, if the need aroused.“

“Better experience than expected! May seem like a standard coffee shop but so much more! Full bar and full breakfast menu. The service is quaint like being st a friend's dining table! We had the New Year, New You, and Build Your Own Omlette... both were very tasty. Highly recommended!“
“The food was really good my wing's was still hot meatballs were good only negative thing I have to say is my spaghetti were a little cold but other than that it was good y'all are better than spaghetti Warehouse this will be my new spot for spaghetti and the prices aren't bad “
