Best tomatillo sauce ever and the fried ice cream is a must have every lunch and dinner visit! Family owned very sweet family with beautiful art pieces throughout the restaurant. The free conferenceroom is a great space! As long as you order, the space is free for you to use for your meetings, call ahead to reserve!”

“Was in Defiance last weekend with friends. We were looking for a place to have lunch and I had seen on the Valentine Theater site that Ensign’s was where Maag’s used to be and they had a lot of the same menu. Went there years ago, before 1980, and was pleasantly surprised with the lunch. Had the roast beef, knockers, chips & draft beer. Everything was great and the prices are very reasonable. We all had a good time and my friends were happy that I suggested going here. Keep up the good work!”

“Excellent service from Stephanie. Mixed drinks were well poured and draft craft beers were great. I personally had the Belgium Dark, #3 and it was pretty good. Had 6 people in our party so we got some appetizers and they were very reasonably priced for the quantity that you get. Potatoes skins and cheese curds were lock the basket great. I personally got the wood fired steakeroni hand tossed, it was delicious. Wife got a burger and said it was very good as well. Others in our group got a wrap and pizza sub. Everyone liked / loved their food. Prices are reasonable for the food / service / and atmosphere. Will definitely return next time we are in the area!”

“The staff is always attentive and joyful. Food or ice cream is always delicious and bountiful. With all the choices available, it's hard not to grab something for yourself when making a pit stop! The environment is always welcoming and clean. Sometimes the machines go down, but I can understand that with how busy they can get on a regular basis! And they are always on a quick turn around to get things fixed so it's never a long let down when a machine is down.
With 2 locations in Defiance, and a mobile truck for venues or events, Eric's Ice Cream is a town favorite.”

“This place is great although I wished they could stay open instead of closing around 2:30 the food is exactly what I needed for $10 for an entire dish that's heavy it's nice, the plates aka the foam plates unfortunately melt if I specially order unfortunately so I need to use two foam trays that would be nice if they could upgrade or make them durable”

“Very fast and friendly staff HOWEVER I've gone through multiple times since they've opened and every time I ask for sweet foam on my drink and I NEVER get it. If your location doesn't have sweet foam just say so instead of me ordering it and never getting it. Also they tend to put way too much mocha flavor in the mixed mocha drinks to the point where it completely over powers any other flavor causing my coffee to taste bitter. So 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5.”

“This store is under new management and so far the new manager has taken over and customer service has gotten better! And ive been seeing alot more tasty food choices to pick from.

Parking: 8 Gas pumps to park and fuel up and than maybe 15 total spaces for just convenient parking.”

“Frisch's in Defiance is my all time go to for their delicious Cod Sandwich and crinkle cut fries! The cod is just so light and delicious and the Frisch's special tartar sauce just makes the sandwich perfect! It's my favorite lunch spot when I'm in Defiance!”

“I always enjoy visiting and ordering from Padrones. They've been a staple to the town for a number of years now. You can't beat free delivery or their numerous bread appetizers. Pesto, garlic, cheesy, plain, stuffed.. Nobody compares.”

“Love the food and the smoothies are delicious, BUT at the window the girl was not polite at all and pretty much shoved our food at us and when we went to ask for one more straw she just shuts the window😳 we had to wait for her to come back to the window to ask for one. After getting the straw we got no thank you or anything….just seems like people now a days need to learn basic communication and how to be polite.”

“Came here when we were moving into our apartment. The food was so good and I was so exited because we heard we got the apartment and the lady taking our order was so sweet. The chicken tenders I got were so fresh and so was all the food. Only downside I would say is the atmosphere. There was a lady that was there before we were and unfortunately was very obviously on some sort of substance.”
