“I had the pleasure of being brought here for lunch today and - wow!! The waitstaff is very friendly and accommodating. I had the pastor torta and it was amazing! El pastor is one of my favorite Mexican dishes and I haven't had it in a restaurant where it was this good since I lived out west 25 years ago! We also grabbed a bottle of Coronado vanilla rompope from the grocery store on a whim and weren't sure what to expect. I had the leftover half of my torta and guacamole from lunch along with a small glass of the rompope for dinner a little while ago, and it was incredibly good. I'll definitely be back for more!”

“We were visiting for DC college drop off and decided to try Kissner's out! We were absolutely blown away by the atmosphere, the food, the service, and the drinks! There is something cool about being in a historic downtown and sitting in a restaurant that is 95 years old! Their menu is giant! Highly recommend!”

“The staff is always attentive and joyful. Food or ice cream is always delicious and bountiful. With all the choices available, it's hard not to grab something for yourself when making a pit stop! The environment is always welcoming and clean. Sometimes the machines go down, but I can understand that with how busy they can get on a regular basis! And they are always on a quick turn around to get things fixed so it's never a long let down when a machine is down.
With 2 locations in Defiance, and a mobile truck for venues or events, Eric's Ice Cream is a town favorite.”

“I have been CRAVING fettuccine alfredo from Padrones for daysss. When i called it rang busy for about 30 minutes (which, it's Friday night, it's to be expected) but i refused to go anywhere else. I WANT THAT ALFREDO ! ? Anyways, the phone went through & Shana (I hope I'm spelling the name correctly) was so nice ! I loved her personality and had a very human experience. She hyped up everything i ordered ! As it should be. Lol but I loved our short encounter. She seems sweet and personable. FOOD IS ON THE WAYYYY & I have a family PUMPED for its arrival. “It's a tiny place, but I've been getting it ever since I can remember. The people are always very polite. I've seen people say it's dirty, but it isn't. It's just a tiny "you get what you get," place. I've been craving it especially hard the last few weeks. Was thrilled to find it was still open when I moved back this way.”

“Was in Defiance last weekend with friends. We were looking for a place to have lunch and I had seen on the Valentine Theater site that Ensign’s was where Maag’s used to be and they had a lot of the same menu. Went there years ago, before 1980, and was pleasantly surprised with the lunch. Had the roast beef, knockers, chips & draft beer. Everything was great and the prices are very reasonable. We all had a good time and my friends were happy that I suggested going here. Keep up the good work!”

“This place has drifted from when I was a kid. Nobody appreciates the good ole days .. I know I sound about 80 saying that but we went here a lot as kids and it was great. Went with the kids and my inlaws and we had a great time. Our hostess Taylor was great as well. She was on the ball seeing if we needed more refreshments etc. We will have to go back again maybe try making it a thing again for our kids growing up”

They were not expecting a group of 13 on a random Monday afternoon, but they went above and beyond for our family, and our server was on her own and did a phenomenal job! The food was SO good! They packet the salad & wraps with so much meat, the Brew Fries with nacho sauce ? and the boneless wings were not only prepared perfectly, but the sauces were so tasty! Thank you Fricker’s for making our sad day so much better for our family.”
