“Wonderful lunch! Friendly service. Limited menu, but everything on it is perfection! There are only a few close parking spots, but there are ample spots across the street. Don't let the lack of parking keep you away!”
“Recent food has been excellent and the new restaurant has been more fully staffed. Just getting used to the larger spaces. Better Ambiance getting used to the size of the new restaurant. Very clean and relaxing .”
“We have been wanting to make it 63 Corks si ce the opened! Finally we had the right time to go. At our table we had the walleye fritter, the pork chop, new York strips, winter calamari, bacon wrapped scallops, gnocchi, lava cake, sweat potato cream Brule, and New York cheesecake, there wasn't 1 thing that passed our lips that was not amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly and melt in your mouth delicious.I had the rest of mine for lunch today. The restaurant is intimate so make a reservation if you can plan ahead when you want to go.The atmosphere is perfect for a date night out or a going out with anyone you want to have a conversation with. Our waitress was great, when we go again we hope to have her again. It looks like a converted house so don't miss it when you drive into town, it is the perfect setting for the delicious flavors you will experience.Don't worry about the drive, it's worth it!”
“Best breadsticks EVER !!!!!Will be a stop each time we pass through this part of Ohio.Great pizzas, very helpful and friendly staff, nice restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating.”
“I stopped here during a brief trip to Amish Country area and I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The workers (Owners?) were very friendly, made me a good coffee (I had no food, but next time I will), and I enjoyed the acoustic guitar hanging on the wall. The Mini NES area was really cool too and there are plenty of comfortable places to sit. I have been to many countries and most of the states, but rarely found such a neat little introvert-heaven coffee shop as this. Surprise to find it in Dover, OH... When I return to this area, in a few months, I will definitely stop by again!”
“Every time we visit Dover, this is our go to place! Great coffee and food—even better atmosphere! We can even bring the kids!Kid-friendliness: They have games, books, and coloring for the family!”
“Amazing service, wonderful food, and a great stout!Visited on a Thursday night to a PACKED house and parking lot. PUB TRIVIA night! Ken ran a great show normal pub trivia with a twist bonus question. The staff.... amazing! This place was 2 floors of tables bursting with people and drinks and food. Fanny was wonderful helpful and did an amazing job of setting us up for success and all our food being ready at the same time... our table of 11 with 4 different parties. The wait staff definitely knows how to work with the kitchen! We had other servers swing by to help... I am sorry I did not catch your names in the chaos, but you were all so helpful and friendly.Note: when the house is packed and servers are very very busy and there are few food runners.... you may be asked to help retrieve your food, we did not have a problem with this! This is a pub and brewery... not Michelin fine dining. But someone might want to tell the kitchen that... some of the food I saw come across our table was elevated well over typical bar food. But you can also get exactly what you would expect from bar food. Burgers... elevated of course... juicy chicken tenders fries and the like. But check out the menu!!! Everything looked and smelled so good. Everyone was happy with their selections at our table. I have onlybtried a couple menu items myself as I am not from around here. Highly recommended by all my friends from surrounding areas.Great selection of brews! I am a fan of stouts and this one was just a good down to earth smooth stout. The scene is rustic and minimalist, which is a vibe I love. I will definitely be going again. On toothed photos! Note I went back Saturday during early lunch to capture fewer people.”
“Tried it out and was not disappointed! Ordered online and received a text saying the order would be ready in 15 min. Received another text 15 minutes later saying it was. Picked up and everything was packaged very well. Looked and smelled amazing! Tasted better than a few other Hibachi places we’ve been to. Totally worth trying out!”
“This well-managed, thought-through cafe is a gift to the community. It's common for the dining room to fill up during mealtimes, especially evenings. Familiar faces frequent the cafe, giving it a relaxed atmosphere of casual socializing, with friends and strangers. A Conservative Mennonite church about one mile away staffs the cafe, framing its existence as a contribution to their community. The menu options suit snackers, full diners, to-go traffic, and coffee-and-computer loungers.”
“This place is amazing! The doughnuts are delicious and absolutely gigantic. We also enjoyed the blueberry scone, bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich, and shredded potatoes. Their coffee was delicious, and they have a variety of house made syrups for flavoring. This is a must visit when in the area.”
“This was an awesome find for my girlfriend and I. Were were out antiquing and decided we wanted to eat somewhere. I found this place on Google maps and it was close. So we decided to go. We are definitely glad we did. This is a neat historical building. They have a restaurant and a little museum. The restaurant was nice and cozy. It had that small home town feeling. It was a relaxed atmosphere. The servers were attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic home cooked fresh food. The museum is definitely worth checking out. They also have a small veterans museum there to which I find really fantastic. If your ever in the area I would definitely recommend stopping by you won't be disappointed. Thanks for a fantastic visit.”
“Very friendly staff, delicious bbq. The homemade chips are just ok on their own but they are FANTASTIC if you get them loaded with brisket. We also had their shredded pork, beans, coleslaw and Mac n cheese. All very delicious. It’s definitely a sweet bbq sauce but we loved it.”
“Very nice place. Great BURGER done way ordered. HOT & JUICEYYYYYY. GREAT. Go back tomorrow if I lived closer!!!!! TO DAM BAD COSHOCTON CANT GET A PLACE LIKE IT OR EVEN LIKE GREAT BURGER PLACE LIKE NEWARK ”
“They have very good food for lunch. It's in a small town with a very limited selection of places to go to for lunch. I was very pleased with my experiences there and have continued to go too. The coffee cake and scones are fantastic!”
“This place was fantastic. We were there during the lunch rush and the waitress was still very attentive and friendly. My wife and I got the sampler to share and there wasn't anything on it that I wouldn't order again. We sat at the little table by the bar, near where they cooked the food. I was able to see everything that came out of the kitchen and I wanted a bite of all of it! Will make Bags a have-to- go spot to eat at, because I plan on trying everything on the menu.”
“Cafe food, sandwiches & salads & specialty drinks. My grilled cheese was delicious! Made with homemade bread and a touch of honey and cheese of course! A colorful side salad was my choice for a side.”
“Beautiful and spacious seating in and out side this Cafe. They have a large enough menu for everyone to find something, and serve breakfast all day! I got the combo half salad and half sandwich. The cuban had turkey, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, mustard, and pickle and was slightly grilled as a panini. The sothwest salad was top notch with fresh ingredients! The lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado were cut fresh for my salad and not old. It also had a southwest ranch, chicken, corn and black beans. I got a log cabin cappuccino which was a maple infused coffee. A very welcoming space to visit!”
“Best food and coffee in town! I will not ever go to the the golden arches for anything again, ever! This is now my only spot for coffee, breakfast or lunch when I'm at work, and I love that it's just a short walk away.”
“We came all the way from Europe, specifically from the Netherlands, to try delicious Dutch food! This Hamish place is a gem! There is plenty of food and space in this place. We decided to not order something specific, but to take food from the buffet and everything was really good and tasty.”
“My favorite pizza. When grandma zifers closed I was so sad to lose my childhood favorite, but luckily Mary zifers opened and saved the day. A unique pizza that I reccomend to anyone not in the area.”
“We only visited the market, not the Cafe. But the market had a deli counter for take away food and it was busy. Very clean and organized. A large quantity of bulk foods at very good prices. I bought some corn meal for grits and polenta at 30% of supermarket prices. Staff was friendly. Good signage. Small parking area. Large homeopathic remedy selection”
“Great place, located inside the Walnut Creek Cheese market on Ohio Route 39 (West of I-77 and Sugar Creek; and, just East of Walnut Creek; and, East of Berlin, Ohio...”
“We only had 1 complaint about the food. The pizza dog had a little to much liquid, like water when we cut it open. But the flavor was excellent. We enjoyed talking to the owner and workers on Oct. 27 late. We will definitely stop again the next time we're in the area!”
“We had stopped for the buffet, but they had shut it down early for lack of customers. So we ordered in and was promptly served. The food and services are what we've come to expect from East of Chicago. If it wasn't for all the other local establishments to eat, this place would be on our short list of places to eat when in the area. Most of the locals close early, and it was later in the day is why we ate here this day.”
“Their coffee is delicious and reasonably priced. Not a coffee drink, but I especially like the chocolate chip cookie creme freeze. However, if you want a good coffee, I recommend the blackbear.”
“Dive bar that has great food at a good price and deserves to be on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. I had their Sunday fish special which was a large 7 oz Cod fillet deep fried on a hoagie bun with their Tavern fries that are very unique. Well I did not order them , Their handmade boneless wings looked wonderful and apparently they make all their own sauces. Guess I'll have to come back and try them.”
“Stopped in recently after I learned they had let go of the nasty female bartender,.I ordered the hot sausage sandwich with grilled hot peppers and fries, and it was absolutely delicious, I had a couple Guinness drafts. It felt good to go to Breakaway again!!!”
“This is a very nice laid back place to hang out and have fun! The owner works so hard to make/ serve drinks and beer plus she cooks food and serves food till 1 AM. Also there is a dart game and good music. Will definitely come back.”
