“It is a very good pizza !! I would like to see them open in Akron . But our pizza market is already flooded . But I think , that with their quality of product , and the quickness of service , they could carve out a place for themselvesSo if you go through Winesburg , Ohio , stop in and give them a try .”
“Cool bakery and store with lots of options for locally produced Amish products/food. Everything we tried was a hit with our family, worth the detour required to reach it.”
“Wonderful lunch! Friendly service. Limited menu, but everything on it is perfection! There are only a few close parking spots, but there are ample spots across the street. Don't let the lack of parking keep you away!”
“Discovered this hidden gem years ago when they had a little sign at the end of the Rd. They have grown, but the taste is still great!Kid-friendliness: Yes kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yes can be accessible by wheelchair”
“Best breadsticks EVER !!!!!Will be a stop each time we pass through this part of Ohio.Great pizzas, very helpful and friendly staff, nice restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating.”
“This well-managed, thought-through cafe is a gift to the community. It's common for the dining room to fill up during mealtimes, especially evenings. Familiar faces frequent the cafe, giving it a relaxed atmosphere of casual socializing, with friends and strangers. A Conservative Mennonite church about one mile away staffs the cafe, framing its existence as a contribution to their community. The menu options suit snackers, full diners, to-go traffic, and coffee-and-computer loungers.”
“We were in town and wanted something different than Amish style cooking. Excellent pizza, loads of toppings and the crust was crispy and delicious!!So many options to choose from, it makes it difficult to narrow down what you want.It doesn't matter, whatever you get it's going to be delicious!!”
“Great gathering place for meeting up with family while visiting here from Alaska. We were not hurried and enjoyed the buffet and talking.Parking: Parking up by the door and a large lot behind the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accommodating.”
“This was an awesome find for my girlfriend and I. Were were out antiquing and decided we wanted to eat somewhere. I found this place on Google maps and it was close. So we decided to go. We are definitely glad we did. This is a neat historical building. They have a restaurant and a little museum. The restaurant was nice and cozy. It had that small home town feeling. It was a relaxed atmosphere. The servers were attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic home cooked fresh food. The museum is definitely worth checking out. They also have a small veterans museum there to which I find really fantastic. If your ever in the area I would definitely recommend stopping by you won't be disappointed. Thanks for a fantastic visit.”
“Amazing coffee shop. My wife and I discovered this place while on a trip to Amish country. She had a mocha and I had chai tea latte. Some of the best we have ever had, bar none. And prices are competitive. Great service and comfortable atmosphere.Definitely one of my favorite spots in Berlin.”
“This place is amazing! The doughnuts are delicious and absolutely gigantic. We also enjoyed the blueberry scone, bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich, and shredded potatoes. Their coffee was delicious, and they have a variety of house made syrups for flavoring. This is a must visit when in the area.”
“We MUST make an annual pilgrimage to Berlin, if not for anything else, for the pretzels. You go into withdrawal if you don’t get them at least once a year. These pretzels are the litmus to judge all other pretzels against, and none even come close to comparing. I agree with another post, these are life changing pretzels. You will NEVER have a pretzel as good, anywhere in the world (yes, I have tried pretzels around the world, including Munich). Do yourself a favor and get at least two each person. If you have to wait a minute for them to come out of the oven, consider yourself extra blessed because you know you are getting the BEST pretzel ever.”
“Great sandwiches, went here on a Sunday morning. One of the few places in Berlin open Sunday mornings. Had some really young people working that did well.Parking: Take East st. to the back of all the nearby businesses, there is a large lot behind them.”
“They have very good food for lunch. It's in a small town with a very limited selection of places to go to for lunch. I was very pleased with my experiences there and have continued to go too. The coffee cake and scones are fantastic!”
“We only visited the market, not the Cafe. But the market had a deli counter for take away food and it was busy. Very clean and organized. A large quantity of bulk foods at very good prices. I bought some corn meal for grits and polenta at 30% of supermarket prices. Staff was friendly. Good signage. Small parking area. Large homeopathic remedy selection”
“Been coming here for years... used to be a couple times a week.. now just a couple times a year... and they still remember me! Great coffee, food and baked goods!”
“The place is new and clean and looks great. Service is friendly. The pizza is one of the best in Amish country. They also have chicken sandwich which is great. Plus try the hamburger, it's really actually one of the best things on the menu.”
“Cafe food, sandwiches & salads & specialty drinks. My grilled cheese was delicious! Made with homemade bread and a touch of honey and cheese of course! A colorful side salad was my choice for a side.”
“The food was very good and the atmosphere was very. The server was also very nice but they had a large group and it caused service to be slow. But we were in a hurry and we very much enjoyed lunch. I had a bacon , Swiss, mushroom omelette. They used no bacon bits. These were chunks of bacon. My wife had the yogurt parfait which was delicious. We sampled some pastries at the counter and they were also very good. We give DBO ??!”
“I work next door and am over there almost every day for coffee! Chicken Parmesean is always great. Michelle and Kelly are always wonderful. Will continue to have lunch there.”
“Great place, located inside the Walnut Creek Cheese market on Ohio Route 39 (West of I-77 and Sugar Creek; and, just East of Walnut Creek; and, East of Berlin, Ohio...”
“We had stopped for the buffet, but they had shut it down early for lack of customers. So we ordered in and was promptly served. The food and services are what we've come to expect from East of Chicago. If it wasn't for all the other local establishments to eat, this place would be on our short list of places to eat when in the area. Most of the locals close early, and it was later in the day is why we ate here this day.”
“I visited here frequently back in the day..but now since they rebuilt it!!! Wow!! Huge changes!! And they just keep them coming !! With an add on for band and bar firepit!! Fun place people are nice..gambling available but it is member based!!Parking: No issues plenty lit up too!!”
“This place was fantastic. We were there during the lunch rush and the waitress was still very attentive and friendly. My wife and I got the sampler to share and there wasn't anything on it that I wouldn't order again. We sat at the little table by the bar, near where they cooked the food. I was able to see everything that came out of the kitchen and I wanted a bite of all of it! Will make Bags a have-to- go spot to eat at, because I plan on trying everything on the menu.”
“Me and baby pie live 7 minutes from this boutique pizzeria... smokes, let's go... Troutman wine, anytime... sausage and onions on the pie... they treat you like a gang star”
“Food was great. Crispy fries. BBQ Brisket Burger very juicy. Chicken wrap very good. Service very quick we were there on a weekday for lunch.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking outside and open door.”
“Great little cafe; blends into the rest of the store so it doesn't particularly stand out. We had a latte that was very good, and there's more seating than I anticipated; we didn't stay long enough to say much else.”
“Great roadside dairyette. Really excellent burgers, sandwiches, loaded fries, coney dogs etc. The ice cream is very very good. A truly special little gem. A must try.”
“This is a very nice laid back place to hang out and have fun! The owner works so hard to make/ serve drinks and beer plus she cooks food and serves food till 1 AM. Also there is a dart game and good music. Will definitely come back.”
“Beautiful and spacious seating in and out side this Cafe. They have a large enough menu for everyone to find something, and serve breakfast all day! I got the combo half salad and half sandwich. The cuban had turkey, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, mustard, and pickle and was slightly grilled as a panini. The sothwest salad was top notch with fresh ingredients! The lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado were cut fresh for my salad and not old. It also had a southwest ranch, chicken, corn and black beans. I got a log cabin cappuccino which was a maple infused coffee. A very welcoming space to visit!”
