“My first-time visit to this establishment. I was surprised the inside is small. It's a place where you can sit anywhere. It was pretty busy on a Saturday evening. There's a bar area with seats and a few large screen TV's. I'm not a seafood lover, so I ordered the 3 Parmesan garlic chicken tenders with seasoned fries. The tenders were so good. I like seasoning on the fries. My sister and I ordered the Mozzarella sticks, and they were so good. They were hot and I the crust. Our server was great, but we had to get her attention for refills on drinks. It was only two servers, and they were really busy. My sister ordered two large pieces of fried catfish and fries. She ate everything. Her food was hot and nicely seasoned. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food they serve. I saw a few folks leaving with leftovers. We are both looking forward to visiting again. I forgot to ask if they offer a military discount.“
“Parking is absolutely the worst. Had to park so far away because no spots open for a 5pm reservation. Not the restaurants fault but poor planning on the developer. The place is nice, clean, seating and overall ambiance top notch. Service was fantastic. Ordered shrimp cocktail. They were good but not properly chilled. Cocktail sauce could use a little tweaking. Steaks were outstanding. Tender and cooked to order. The crab legs were just OK. They were skimpy and were a little cool. I would highly recommend the Flemming potatoes. Deserts were fantastic. Price reflects service and quality. Was very satisfied and will return.“

“Went here for lunch at 12 on a Sunday - about a 25 minute wait from the time I got there. The space is pretty cramped, everyone standing at the front by the door trying to get seated. But the walls are really cool, looks like a local artist did the murals inside. I got the chocolate bread French toast which was really good and my mom liked the chicken Alfredo. Gave 4 stars because my fruit bowl had moldy blueberries“
“I grew up in Park Layne and live just down the street. This place is very special to me. We were waited on by Christina on Sunday March 17, 2024 for lunch. She was awesome. One of the best waitresses I have ever had. I have just one complaint which I don't like to say...the onion rings, which is one of my favs on the menu, was over cooked almost burnt. However, they were good not enough of a let down to upset me. I'm always very pleased whether I dine in or do carry out. I grew up with that restaurant.“

“I will say the food was pretty good, the waitress seemed a bit all over the place as did everyone else. I know everything is new and you guys still getting the hang of things so we will be back in a few months to see how things have progressed.One critique, the chef having all the waitresses enter the kitchen from the back doesn't make sense. I get why he's doing that, but at the same time if you are sitting by the back door you are FREEZING. I'm not sure if another door was left open or not but it was cold.The back patio is very nice though, I was very impressed with the layout. “Its been years since I've had Captain D's and now I remember why I used to love eating it so much back then. The worker in the drive-thru was very professional. The hushpuppies. . Goodness!!!! They're so delicious especially when you dip them in tartar sauce. I ordered that spicy fish and it was pretty good. I wish y'all would make that a permanent item on the menu. And one of the best parts about the fish is. . Its not too salty. I was able to enjoy other flavors of the fish other than just salt. Delicious, and great service!!“
