Went for the Lenten Friday night fish fry. All the fried fish (Walleye) you can eat, served with French fries, cole slaw and tarter sauce. No second helping on fries an slaw, but the initial serving was more than enough. WARNING: the portions are humongous, especially the fish! Very tasty and all for $15 plus drink and gratuity. I didn't know what to expect when we went there since it's a former (?) Private golf club. I'm pleased to report that it's got a great atmosphere - casual, relaxed, with a cool menu. The dining room is small - maybe 12 tables - as is the bar but it adds to the "small crowd just hanging" vibe. I recommend coming at any time that isn't peak.

We've been twice, once for dinner, and once for Sunday Brunch with a group of friends. The menu for dinner offered a good selection. We really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. When we came back with friends for Sunday Brunch, they were unusually busy, and the service suffered. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, and the food was well prepared, but it arrived at the table cold, and we kept having to remind the waitress for things she forgot, including silverware.
