“Little gem that's obviously a locals favorite. Food was delicious, staff friendly. Best mashed potatoes I've had in restaurant, just like my irish sister in law makes. Will definitely eat here the next time we pass through. I always try to pick a family friendly hometown place to eat while traveling and this place definitely checked all the right boxes.“
“If you are looking for a slice of local life, stop by Van Ness's Time Out. Great food... I have yet to be disappointed in any thing I have ordered (the walleye and perch is always good). Friendly faces and down to earth folks. It has a lot of sports memories as Fremont has produced many professional athletes and college heroes.“
“Traveling from NJ heading west, stopped in Fremont for overnight and ate late dinner here. Both of us ordered bone in pork chops with sweet potato fries. I also had a cup of chili. Food was very good. Service was pleasant and very helpful.Parking: Parking was a bit odd.“
“First time visiting Woody's. They did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had the coney dog with mustard and onions, Kraut dog, fried cauliflower with homemade ranch dressing. Also the homemade root beer float. We will definitely be making another trip.“
“I visit The Garrison about once a week and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, especially the daily soup special. Kendra, as well as Sarah, are very attentive and provide wonderful service every time I visit. Plus, you can't beat their Happy Hour.“
“New to Fremont, went for wings that I've been told are awesome. I couldn't eat because I am allergic to shellfish and they fry everything in the same oil. So sad, they look amazing!! That being said I ordered a pizza. It's a thin crust really crispy!! It was good, plus it was Karaoke night. The customers and bar tenders made the experience so much fun!! I will definitely go back. I'll just eat before going unless I want pizza! Lol“
“Tim's Bar and Grill is the epitome of the neighborhood watering hole. Great food. Good service. Run and operated and frequented by locals. Barbecue cart, full bar.Local Fremont HS football booster. Good truck at the Farmers Market. Catering. The works. Please support their local liquor option this Summer (August 2024) for Sunday sales. Vote yes so he can offer full service bar 7 days a week.“
“We had the 8 piece meal. With it, we ordered mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and cole slaw. My family likes getting all 3 sides, so we gladly pay extra for the third side. I also ordered a small container of liver. Everything was delicious. Except that they forgot to give us the biscuits. The biscuits are part of the reason that we go there. Love those melt in your mouth buttery biscuits. Also, the chicken pot pie is so delicious. I love the top that they put on it. We have been going there for years, and we will continue going there. I highly recommend this establishment.“
“Such a fun place! Got 1lb of perch to share, it's definitely enough for two! Cooked perfectly and the coleslaw was amazing! Fries were great too, if you like the fresh, hand-cut variety. Reminded me of cedar point fries, without having to fight off seagulls LOL. If you're in fremont or live nearby it is absolutely worth a visit, everything was wonderful, the staff were kind and on top of everything, and I love their crazy, maximalist decor. Five stars well earned!“
