“I had a very nice breakfast that was cooked perfectly to order. I was also able to visit with a long-term friend working there. Phyllis did an excellent job of making sure that I had everything I needed for my breakfast. For years when I went in for breakfast, I always ordered the same thing. I didn't have to place an order physically as Phyllis would just go ahead and get my order processed. I found out today I'm too predictable. She asked me as soon as she saw me if I was having my country biscuit breakfast. I did change that up and ordered something else.“
“Drove over 20 minutes to come check this place out. Was worth the drive. Looking for old style mom and pop cafe style food you found it here.Coffee is where you expect for a dinner. Will say the water tastes a little odd but I think that’s just because it’s fostoria water. Coke is the drink selection here.The meat lovers omelet is sausage bacon and ham. The omelet is really good size. Came with shredded hash browns. No complaints there.The chicken fried steak and eggs are fantastic. The chicken fried steak is nice and tender covered in a sausage gravy. Comes with 2 eggs and hash browns as well.We also got an order of biscuits and gravy to split. In total spent about $40. Well worth the money and the drive. Look forward to coming back and trying the lunch and dinner menu.“
“Ordered the house sirloin, 12oz steak medium rare, and it melted in my mouth! Baked potato was very dry and hard to eat. Also had the broccoli, and it was soft and tender. Took about 35 minutes to receive our dinner, hence the 4 stars. Overall decent experience and will go again. Just won't order the baked potato!! The price for two was fair.“
“Is a real gem of a place in Bascom just outside of tiffin Ohio. What can I say except they have great food. Great staff there cold beer and it's right near Meadowbrook Park to do outdoor activities. I go there every time I'm in the area wouldn't miss it!“
