The short north location is significantly better. Our waiter was amazing, and the service was wonderful, but stellar service does not make up for poor food. The Burrata is what we always share together, and this time the tomatoes tasted like a bitter salsa. The meatball in my pasta was undercooked so much that it just mashed into a bolus of meat slurry, and my wife got the ravioli mezzaluna that was a salty mess with the texture of mashed potatoes. Please do better, we love this restaurant and we want to go here, but we won't be back to this location until the food improves. Bradley was our waiter, and he was amazing, and the drinks were great.“

“We got carryout from Gallo’s on High last weekend and were SO happy with our meals. We split an appetizer that was on special that was flavorful and unique, my husband got the scallops and risotto - it was a generous size and delicious, and I got the black and bleu salad special, very good as well. Can’t wait until we’re ready to eat at restaurants again, this will be our first stop (my husband picked up our food and said the dining room was beautiful, everyone very nice, and had a great atmosphere). “We drove here from Knox County on the suggestion of a friend and boy we were not disappointed. The wait staff was friendly and the waiter knew the menu front and back. The food was phenomenal! I had the lasagna—one layer of Alfredo, layers of ricotta, braised pork, and the red sauce was perfection. My husband and daughter had the lobster ravioli with Langoustines. The cannoli was fresh and crispy, the triple chocolate dessert was sinful. We will be returning very soon. You must try this place!!“

“We love this place. Food is always great, the crew takes great care of us, and the vibes are excellent. I usually get the gyro which is excellent, but this time I got the grouper gyro which was surprisingly also excellent! Keep in mind this is not a restaurant with servers, you walk up and order and they bring the food out to you. Not quite full service, but sometimes that's a little better than waiting for your server ? they do have a nice bar as well. And in the summer they crank open all the windows and it's like you're right out on State Street.“

We fortunately picked Pasquales. We ordered the garlic knots. They are Huge, Crispy where they need to be and chewy not doughy. And so cheap!! We decided to try the Meat Lovers Pizza and the Penne and Meatball too. Neither dish disappointed. The crust is so thin and crispy but not burnt at all and the amount of toppings was very generous. We have a lot of leftovers to take home. We both decided we would make the 45 min drive to eat here again and again. The server Makayla (sp?) was very friendly and the speed of service was Great!! Then there is the dessert case. We brought home a cannoli, a cream puff , a cinnamon roll and the peanut butter cookie sandwich with chocolate. So excited to try them too!“

“The food is great - we’ve tried most of their pizzas and the antipasti salad is to die for. Unfortunately I can’t speak as highly about the staff. On several occasions, usually on Sundays when they close at 7, I’ve gotten my food close to 7 but NEVER after 7. I’ve placed orders for pick-up at 6:45 and if I wasn’t there at 6:45 on the dot I’ve been called being harassed to get my food because they close at 7. Today I went in at 6:50 and they had already put everything away, taken out the trash, and sanitized everything and gave me lip about wanting to place my order (1 pizza and 1 salad). They proceeded to loudly complain to each other while making my order. Closing at 7 means you stop taking customers at 7 - not that staff gets to walk out the door and lock it behind them at 7.“

“I've reviewed several Dicarlos outside the Valley. Most people from there say Elm Grove and Wellsburg are the gold standard for Dicarlos locations, and I agree.This pizza from the Columbus location is just as good, especially for one outside the Valley. All of them have been good, but Columbus is perfection.It's tough to get parking nearby, so plan for that. But if you love Dicarlos, the Columbus location will satisfy. I live 2 hours away and will go back.“

“I highly recommend Grandma's Pizza on Parsons. The staff is great and friendly. The pizza is delicious and reasonably priced. I usually order between 16-20 large pizzas, and they have always had them fresh and ready to go on time. Yesterday, I called them at 3:45pm and asked them if they could do 20 larges ready for pick-up at 5:45pm and they had it done. They are my go-to place for pizza on the south end of Columbus.“

I had a simple pep and cheese and I have to say that it was one the best pies that I have had overall in quite some time.
