“Amazing experience. The food was excellent. Started with the smokehouse flatbread as an app. Had the BBQ Chicken Mac & Cheese (Gouda cheese) which was incredible - maybe the best Mac & Cheese ever. Tiramisu dessert was fresh and also excellent. Included a margarita flight as well as a beer flight. Our server, Elizabeth, was very friendly and her recommendations were spot on. “Big D's is one of the Best Restaurants in town. My husband loves the burgers and chicken sandwiches. I love their wings and grilled chicken sandwiches. And Wednesday Pasta night is delicious as well! “We went with friends for dinner while visiting Chagrin Falls. This quaint little inn is perfect. Our server was prompt and efficient. We started with cocktails and Tater Kegs, which were excellent. Then I had the Perch Dinner, my husband had Chicken Parmesan, our friends had Pork Schnitzel and Shrimp Pasta. Everything was very good and portions were plentiful.“

“Disclaimer: trying to stay gluten free in a mostly Italian restaurant is very difficult and unfair to judge their homemade foods. With that said, I see the menu has quite a variety to choose from. I picked the seafood platter, but I think I should have tried a steak or chicken breast. The menu talked of fish, shrimp and crab, along with scallops. I didn't get scallops. The fish was breaded well with corn meal and tasty. The shrimp was too breaded. The owner should change the frozen bag of shrimp for something else. Crab mix in shell pretty good. Both tarter sauce and the horseradish sauce were there. I chose the rice pilaf, which had good flavor. I chose their vegetable soup, which shows their homemade skills. I don't like hot spicy, yet the vegetable soup had just the right amount of twang in it. Overall I must come back and give them a second chance, just because their soup and rice pilaf was great. I think their other homemade items should be bangin. Seafood platter needs improvement. Waitress friendly and did well. Place was clean and the right atmosphere. Staff was friendly.“

“Best burger I've had in a while. This place is far from fancy, but tell it like it is. Menu is very limited, service was great, daily specials, food fresh, and a "fun" adult crane machine. Will return, will not bring the kids though. Place was clean, tasty, quick and cheap.“

I ordered a steak salad and fries, but other people around me ordered different quesadillas and wings, and they all looked amazing - big portions, and the prices are right.The atmosphere isn't my cup of tea, but that's me (See my nite about "kid friendliness). The bartender was super sweet, not dressed sleazy, not flirting with all the guys, just super friendly and laid back. Only thing I didn't much like was hearing the F word an awful lot from songs they play. I would order food from here any day.Kid-friendliness: Definitely NOT a "family" place. The obscenities coming out of the radio are a real turn-off. There's nothing else negative I can say about the place, though.“

“We use to live in Ohio but have lived in Tennessee since 2010 - We loved coming here as much as possible, but haven't been able to in all that time - Was passing through for a funeral & stopped in for Supper after a very long ride - We were tired & just wanted to rest & have a good meal then finish on to our hotel still quite a ways away - There was hardly anyone in the restaurant so thought we would get in & out fairly quickly - Sadly that was not what happened - Took Quite Awhile to get our food & just wasn't what we remembered it to be - This was a different location from before & not sure if the ownership had changed or what happened but the service & the food was not up to par with what it use to be - Everything looked great, but looks can be deseaving - My husband got Ribs & Chicken with Fries, our Grandson got the Kids Hotdog Meal with Fries & I ordered the Ribs with Steamed Broccoli & Mac & Cheese - My husband was really disappointed with the taste of his meal, Grandson's Hotdog was Extremely Salty, Mine was good but not great like before - Unfortunately if we are back in the area I doubt we stop again!“

“First I would say that I would give it 4 and a half stars for service and atmosphere. Food was bar food and was ok..not bad but was not blown away either. That said the drinks were really good and they had a nice bourbon selection. I would go back for drinks for sure.“
