“Spent a very nice afternoon at the winery. We started off in the wine tasting room. All the wines we sampled were very good. It was hard to pick a favorite! We then went over to the restraunt side and had a wonderful lunch. All the employees were polite and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. I can't wait to go back in the summer .“
“Stopped in for the first time tonight. From Madison, moved to Geneva in 2004. Talk about a hidden gem! very cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff. I ordered the Pork Osso Buco and the wife had the pizza. everything was phenomenal. Ossco Buco was melt in your mouth. Turns out they just celebrated 25 years and the wife and I were celebrating 25 years. Totally appreciated the special gift we were given in celebration! Awesome place, highly recommend and will be back!“
“Walking in being greeted right away, sat ourselves and had a drink in front of us in less than 3 minutes. Staff was so nice. The food was beyond incredible. I got sloppy hot garlic wings and they were beyond perfect. An extra $.50 for sloppy wings was well well worth it! The wings were swimming in sauce. I didn't find any grease either it was all sauce. My wife got a Reuben and it was incredible as well. Fries and chips were perfect and my daughter's burger was flawless. Wonderful experience and amazing incredible food.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is spot on and they even give you a full pack of markers to color with!!“
“Lakeway has always been a home town favorite for my family and I. Whether it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we all have our favorite “go to” dishes! You can clearly tell they care about their food quality because the majority of food is fresh and home made. Highly suggest the french toast for bfast on any choice of their homemade breads. Hands down the best italian wedding soup I have ever had. Zesty Bow Ties and Chicken Marsala are must haves as well! Growing up in Ashtabula, it’s always felt great supporting local family owned businesses. I hope you can do the same!“
“Hands down my fave pizza locally! I usually get the everything- no anchovies- eewwww- and white sauce. Everyone who's had it loves it! My guy and I can also keep it basic with pepperoni and sausage- just perfect. The workers are all adorable teen/20's who have big smiles and greet you/check you out quickly. This is the Capos that accepts credit cards. The other location, said to be the original in Geneva, does not. They only do cash. I'm a credit card user, so it'll be a while but I plan on checking them out too.“
“It's not bad, it's not great, it's Joey's.The food is fine. It's basic diner food. Their are quite a few things on the menu that are actually pretty good if I'm being honest. You just need to know what they are. Their ultimate chicken salad is probably the best thing on their entire menu if I'm being honest, and nearly all of their sandwiches are fine/good.They're Pizza which is associated with their Longo's subsidiary is actually reasonable. It's more or less better than any of the fast food pizza chains but not much better than any of the other mom-and-pop pizza shops that are in the area.Strangely enough a lot of their Italian food is what actually is extremely hit-and-miss with whether or not it's either reasonably good all the way to being just plain bad at times.Really a lot of the biggest reasons why so many people go to Joey's is that it's very well-maintained, and everything is usually very clean and orderly whenever you're there. The decor and environment is very nice and a lot of people love going there on Sundays to watch the football games. Their indoor outdoor porch area is very nice and they usually have an awesome fire going whenever it starts getting cold out.Parking: Don't feed the feral cats“
“We had a huge party, but the one waitress and staff did such a great job. The large pizza was huge. I loved my Cobb salad with balsamic vinegrette. Right off 531 and a nice size parking lot. Very clean and wide open floor plan. Except for the area that, where they put our group. They have a half wall and the large table and bench wall seat, locked many into position. And everything handed to us over our heads to set the food on elevated wire racks. So if this bothers you request they arrange the tables in center area for a group. See photos. Restrooms are off to a wide side hall, away from all the hustle. There is a beautiful wall mural that greets you as you enter. A scene of the Ashtabula Maritime area and Lake Erie.Parking: Easy to move around and clear view to enter or leave the parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide open floor so easy to move in the room. Wide hall to the bathroom.“
“I have never ever ever written a review in my life before so that should tell you something! I used to live in Geneva years ago, someone from my past and I tried this place together and we immediately fell in love! Try their deep dish pizza, and dip the crust in their homemade Italian dressing! I swear it’s the best thing ever. Now I live further away, I’ll literally come out to Geneva just to get the pizza and dressing. Everyone there is so sweet, and they have real delicious food! If i could give a 1 million star review i would ??❤️“
