“For a fast food, fried seafood place in Columbus this shop can't be beat. The food comes out fast, the staff is nice, and overall you get a good bang for your buck. I would say the crab cakes weren't necessarily the best, but for the price there is a great crab flavor in it compared to some places that lack that in lieu of cheaper ingredients, and I'd gladly spend about $10 on a crab cake platter compared to almost 3x as much else where despite it being slightly lacking. The fried smelts were exactly what I expected and the Mac salad and chips were top notch. I'll be coming back again for sure“
“The BEST Fish and Chips in the city. Period. I have been going to this location for years and it has yet to disappoint. They have outlasted many other restaurants in this area. Once you eat here, you'll see why. Easily one of my favorite restaurants.“
“I was looking for Mr P's restaurant, and all I can say is I'm glad I didn't find it! The food and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend it! I'm hard to impress because of my culinary background but I must say 10/10!“

“I’m giving a somewhat good review because of Thomas the manager along with good food. I don’t want 1 waiters mistake to ruin the restaurant.We arrived about 8:20 and the food was great! Service was mediocre but acceptable. After we ate and watched the end of a Buckeye basketball game, paid our tab and tipped well and we’re finishing our conversation along with our beverages, our server came to us at 9:36 interrupted and informed us the establishment closed at 9:00 and they had been more then accommodating to us and we needed to leave.I’ve been in a few places in my time and always try to be respectful of the peoples time but this was out of line especially the short time we had been there and there were still people at the bar.Thomas did a great job handling my complaint and I will go back and hopefully have a server that’s more professional.“
“Just moved here from Texas and this is the first decent food we’ve had since we got here! Everything is fresh and delicious. You can see them making your food. Flouring and frying…. Everything was superb. Hush puppies were OUT OF THIS WORLD. The owner was polite and kind and explained the menu me. Very friendly! Will be back soon! Ps… whatever extra seasoning is on the fish is just simply…. Incredible.“

The fact that you can watch your kids play at the park across the street while you finish your meal on the patio really puts this place over the top.Parking: Plenty of on street parking on 1st Ave and several parking spots in front of the restaurant as well.Kid-friendliness: Good options on the kids menu plus right across from a great park. Easy to see your kids play at the park while you are on the patio of the restaurant.“
