“I dined here for the first time last night and it was delicious. We ordered the rosemary grapes appetizer and it was unique but fantastic. I've never had anything quite like it but I'm so glad we tried it. For dinner, they had a hamburger special. One might think a hamburger is nothing special but let me tell you that this burger was cooked perfectly. It was juicy with the best and softest bun. Our server was Eathan and it took great care of us. I will definitely be back.“

“Our middle school and high school grandchildren are always traveling for sport events so we try to visit different area restaurants before or after. We returned to Tree Tigers based upon a previous great experience and wasn't disappointed. We ordered the steamed buns. I got one with chicken, one with pork belly and one with shrimp. All were seasoned perfectly and were like biting into pillowy goodness. The IPA named The Other One complimented the flavors well. Our waitress helped my wife choose a beer to her liking. We are looking forward to our grandkids playing in the Newark area again to try other dishes they have.“

“I love this place! It is a bit pricey for the rice bowl bc the protein is skimpy but it's a lot of rice, however it's one of my favorite meals, I continue to return for it. I have tried other things like the steam Buns but the bowl with the spicy cauliflower and peanut sauce, cilantro ,bean sprouts ,rice carrots ,cucumbers, is soooo good. I like to get carry out bc eating in is so loud and just not my type of place to sit n eat. “My wife and I went here for the first time today. Everything was great from the staff to the food. There’s something about the French Toast that is so good. I got the bacon waffle with the chicken, spicy gravy and eggs along with a side of fried potatoes. The gravy was the bomb! Great atmosphere, awesome group of folks working as well. “What a friendly place! We stopped in for lunch. Our friendly and helpful server, Billie Jo, recommended the special..fish and chips and Cole slaw. Delicious! Quick service. The food was fresh and hot, slaw was cold! Very filling, generous serving. We both enjoyed our lunch. The new floor looks great, but in the long run, will be hard on the server's backs, feet, and legs. Wood gives, concrete doesn't. But our server was a delight. We definitely will be returning! “I walked in and noticed the full bar. So, I decided to settle down and take a seat at a four-top. I was acknowledged by a server who asked if what I would like to drink. After giving he a beer order, she came back a few minutes later with a draft beer on a 24oz glass. The place was busy, so I distracted myself with other things while waiting for the server. About five minutes after, she came up and asked for my order (Crossroads Burger, single, with fresh cut fries). While waiting for my burger she checked for a refill. It was evident there is a strong local atmosphere here, with people greeting each other with hugs. There are a decent number of groups here with families and kids, so that gives me the impression this is a friendly place. I was brought my second beer about eight minutes after placing my order, and also not either the owner or a manager walking around picking up some stray napkins on the floor. After about 20 minutes my order came to the table. I figured if they were going to put their name on a burger, it should be good. It did not disappoint: the burger was smashed, well-reasoned, and juicy (medium), the jalapenos and pepper jack brought the right amount of heat, and the brioche bun was a good base to build on. I had pretty much finished my burger before the server checked in with me about ten minutes later. She was busy and I no complaints, so it's all good.The bar had completely cleared out about thirty minutes from my arrival, but my server asked if I'd like another beer, which I sure did, and I'm going to leave my review at that. Crossroads seems to be a good local place to grab a burger and a beer, and is community-based enough to make it family friendly.I'm going to relax with another beer and suggest you come here to do the same.Parking: Parking was available at the establishment and at tht gravel lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available for the little kids, and there seems to be quite a number of families here with their little ones.“

“WOW I don't believe I have anything to complain about! Yes they get a 5 star, Thursday eve tables available, the restaurant has a friendly atmosphere with a typical barbecue /pub ambiance. Good for a casual date night or a girls/guys night out. I waited to order less than 5 minutes. Cheerfully greeted, helpful staff (I had reviewed the menu in the parking lot but it had been a long day). Patiently waiting while I choose my order. Ordered a brisket sandwich, chicken wings and fries with cheese and bacon. Now for the kicker, I dislike brisket (sorry Texas) to the point of NEVER ordering it, BUT on the recommendation of a friend I gave it a shot. Here is the result, I don't like smoked brisket but the brisket sandwich was fabulous, I ate 1/2 the sandwich without sauce, no added salt or pepper basically in bbq language NAKED. awesome flavor, perfect amount of char, moist and tasty I might start ordering brisket. Now the chicken wings were small in size but not in flavor. Perfectly smoked still moist and in my opinion better without any sauce just a little salt and pepper. On to the fries, now my order was to go, and that's why I'm leaving this for last. The flavor was spot on! But the fries were not cooked long enough not for the moisture in the nacho cheese to destroy the texture. Again I say the flavor was great and if ordering for a table order the fries are good, I just wouldn't order them to go again.“

“I live in Mount Vernon Ohio and I drive all the way to North just to get their Pizza. Their Pizza is completely covered in pepperoni and cooked to a crispy perfection. We finally got a Pizza Cottage in Mount Vernon where I am from in the service is horrible as you can see on the reviews I live 10 minutes from Mount Vernon Pizza Cottage I ordered a pizza they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes this is when they very first opened at 11:00 in the morning. I got there within 10 minutes was very surprised that my pizza was ready. When they handed me the Box through the window I found it odd that it was cold. When I got home the pizza was cold as though it had been refrigerated overnight and they didn't even take the time to reheat it it just gave it to me as a cold leftover from last night I'm not joking it was literally refrigerated cold the pizza crust was super rubbery from being stored in the refrigerator. The customer service there is appalling. I will continue to drive to Newark from Mount Vernon to get the greatest Pizza in the world from that Pizza Cottage. Even by the time I get home from there my pizza was hotter than it was from Mount Vernon where I lived 10 minutes away nor have I ever been given cold leftover night pizza from Pizza Cottage of Newark. I would recommend them a thousand times over great customer service very clean restaurant great food always. Mount Vernon is the worst I would never recommend it to anybody not with their childish behavior on the inside nor their cold leftover pizza they didn't even bother to heat up before giving it to me when they first opened. Hopefully it closes down before it gets Pizza Cottage a bad name“
