“For the first time in 13 years, since being diagnosed with having to be gluten-free, I ate a gluten-free muffin/cupcake that had flavor and a soft inviting texture! Friends brought it to me because I've been under the weather. It brought a wonderful smile. One of their family members goes there quite often.“
“Great food. I love that they have gluten-free bread options and their coffees are amazing too. The staff is always friendly and the homemade pastries are delicious. I also love their mission. Local people helping local people. Great breakfast food and dinner specials. Chef Gigi is the best.“
“I ate lunch here with my wife, and what a pleasant experience! We had lattes and sandwiches. The croque monsieur is by far, the best sandwich I have ever had in a cafe, and the lavender latte I sipped on was divine. The staff here are great, kind people and provided excellent service. This cafe is a few minutes away from my home and I'll definitely be a regular here.“
“The staff is super friendly, and will quickly become family if you give them just a few minutes of your time! I love everyone there and the coffee is great too. I get the breakfast Sammy and the lox bagel and both are staples. Great food, and over all comfy artistic vibe! ❤️“
“The best coffee we have ever had! Perfect flavor for delicious seasonal drinks. Husband had the Bee Sting Latte (honey syrup with a warm winter kick) and no idea what the warm winter kick is, but is was the best latte I ever tasted! I opted for the Caramel Brûlée Latte and it was decadent!“
“I went in hoping to find my favorite signature latte with ginger- as I had seen it on one of their older web images. Although didn’t actually have it then the barista said they do have a ginger infused syrup that I could use ? so I asked for that with the spicy mocha. Unfortunately their Apple Pay reader was out of order so I went looking for my purse but didn’t have one on me . I expected to return later with my purse but the barista was a kind and generous soul who gave me my coffee on the house! I was so grateful and have a little more faith in humanity now. ?My drink was such a bomb! Loved everything about it and definitely recommend it.Abundant seating and great decor but the lighting maybe inadequate for readers.“
“I was recommended to check out Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse and I'm glad I went. I ordered the Lavender tea and it was incredible! Highly recommended that option. They also have various other drinks on their menu as well as food. Plenty of space inside to work, study, or have a chat with friends. Service was quick.“
“I only recently realized how much I love hot tea. I'm so excited I found Churchill's. I can't wait to explore all the flavors of loose leaf tea I purchased. The store and staff was welcoming, and eager to help everyone who walked in the door. I'm currently enjoying my first cup of the peppermint black tea, and it is perfect! I will definitely be back, and recommend this business to anyone I know who enjoys tea.“
“This is literally the best coffee place in the entire world! So #1 the vibes are amazing, it's super comfy and chill and there's about a million different places to sit. #2 literally every single staff member we've met so far has been very sweet, within 2 months we've already become regulars and they treat us like friends, it's great! #3 this coffee is like, close your eyes and pause kinda good lol the lattes are always perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter, and the amount of flavor options is amazing. 1000/10 recommend everyday ?“
“Me and my buddy went on a Saturday morning both got the cortada, which was phenomenal. It definitely packs a punch. I then grabbed the special, choc/cherry latte and that was amazing. I could taste the coffee and the chocolate and cherry. It wasn't overly sweet, just the right balance. Plus, the place is big with a lot of seats and they bring out your drinks so everyone isn't stuck waiting around the bar. Excellent shop.“
“My partner and I came across this place while driving by and decided to try it out. The coffee and food are delicious. We got the prosciutto and brie sandwich and can’t recommend it enough! Staff were so friendly and welcoming. I wish we lived closer but next time we’re in town we’ll definitely be back!“
“Very shocked in the great price for the quality of the danish and iced latte and add-in the exquisite atmosphere. This place is truly great and I hope to go back. I got the honey bear late and an apple danish!Only difficult thing is the parking but there is plenty of side streets that are minimal walk.“
“This place is okay. Drive thru is great, but the inside ordering is a night mare. I suggest if you have more than 5 people waiting at the end of the bar, you need to pause order taking and get them cleared. An older man and his kid were waiting for their food/drink longer than I was. They also did not call out my drink when it was ready… some people did but the person who handed out my drink did not. It would be great to put a name on inside orders so you can just call a name and m what they ordered. I know it gets busy, but this leaves everyone else less confused and your line moving.“
“2023: 4/5 stars. Collective has lost some of its magic over the years. It's still pretty good, but the costs have just gone up a lot. Pour overs that were once $3–4 are now $6–7, when they actually have them, for example. They are using North South for pastries now which is a big win. They have largely stopped doing lots of the fine touches that used to make them what they are, such as the single origin espresso option. I still visit, but a lot less than I used to. There are so many other options now compared to OTR in 2016... the newest spots, Redtree and Coffia are both worth checking out.2016: 5/5 stars. It's the best coffee shop in OTR and in Cincinnati. The espresso drinks are nice, pour overs are great, and they do some weird stuff like espresso lemonade ("spronade"). The baristas are very friendly and the owners are down to earth and around most days. Very good neighborhood spot.“
“Amazing venue. Fun, friendly, and entertaining. Second Sight's bourbon is amazing, as well as other unexpected and unique spirits, like absinthe and hazelnut liqeuer. Bar tenders are always welcoming and the owners Carus and Rick are super friendly and informative.“
“Second coffee of the day and this spot got 'er done. Mostly quiet, comfortable and the coffee was good.I found a table in the back where I was not disturbed and was here for about an hour while my phone charged and I was able to write a Yelp review or two.[Review 20495 overall - 222 in Ohio - 1476 of 2023.]“
“This was the second time I have visited this Bakery. The Glazed Yeast donut was a little dense the first time I visited and the same the second. The Glazed Chocolate Cake Donut had good flavor but was a little dry.Be sure you take the Butler County Donut trail the next time you are in the area between Cincinnati and Daton area.“
“Highlander grog and a hot chocolate with no whip. It's amazing how we don't even have to order, the friendly and reliable staff already knows what we want. It's delicious, inexpensive, friendly, cozy, local, and NOT some big chain like Dunkin or Starbucks. You won't regret going here.“
“I had the lemon blueberry pancakes with the berry compote and fresh whipped cream. They were delicious. The bacon was cooked perfectly. Nice and crisp. My husband had the breakfast casserole, which he liked. The noise level is very high, so if you are looking for an intimate setting, this probably isn't your place. We loved it. Great food and service.“
“This is an absolute GEM of a place. Very welcoming, super cozy, exceptional coffee, delicious pastries, the best chai latte my partner has ever gotten, and the staff are truly lovely individuals. This was a stop on our way south after visiting family in the Midwest and now it's a must stop whenever we make the trek again. Thanks for having us!“
“A little smaller than expected but I loved it! It's a very very small building in a side parking lot. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. There's a joke that it's hard to support local coffee businesses because their coffees taste like sewer water, but I woke up the next day crazing another Cafe de leche. My brother literally asked for a "Mocha thing" and his came out better than mine. Apple fritter 10/10, chicken empanada 9/10 cheese bagel 9.5/10.“
“We rented the space for a book signing after hours. The owner and staff were not only professional but went above and beyond to help us setup and cleanup. The vibe was perfect and all over our guests raved about it. The ambiance was beautiful. It couldn’t have gone better!“
“I tried this coffee shop for the first time today because I was looking for one on the way to a gig, and was not disappointed!Extremely relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space both inside and outside. I initially thought the inside was just a small ordering area with some seats, which was a nice space as it is, but then rounded the corner and found 3 other spaces inside, which was a cool surprise ?.There's plenty of cozy seating areas and the music selection was really great with a lot of music I haven't heard in a long time! ?In addition, the people working there were wonderfully pleasant ?.Some of the food and drinks were higher priced than I'd typically pay, but definitely worth the price! The flavors of everything I had were delightful and delicious ❤️?. And on top of that, they had a huge variety of items to choose from, which is always a bonus in my mind. The only thing that was a little difficult was finding parking in the area but obviously that's less outside of their control, and I just had to walk a little further so even with that, not too big a deal.I would definitely recommend checking out this spot if you haven't before!“
“Such a great place. We were there kind of late around 8:00 pm. The gentleman that took care of us was friendly, happily explained all the flavors. This is a new “must stop” place on our next trip downtown. I’ll be ordering online to have more shipped to me. They are truly the best I’ve ever had. If you are GF this is a must have sweet treat. I wish I would have purchased more.“
“Great little cafe located in a quiet part of downtown - not many places like it. Extremely friendly service and the sandwiches are always delicious. Came in for Mardi Gras and tried their sandwich, gumbo, and dirty rice combo, and loved all of it. More people need to know about this place.“
“Coffia is a delightful gem located just off Vine Street. The moment you step in, you’re greeted by a wonderfully inviting atmosphere and exceptional service that make you feel right at home. As a coffee aficionado, I pay close attention to the quality of espresso, and I must say, Coffia truly impressed me. Their espresso was expertly crafted, boasting the perfect balance of flavor and aroma. It’s clear that quality and attention to detail are top priorities here. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this charming coffee shop is a must-visit for anyone seeking a superb coffee experience.“
“Great little shop, in an adorable little neighborhood. Plenty of street parking. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious coffee, and my favorite North South Baking croissants!! The chocolate ones are particularly delicious. We had an iced Americano and an unadvertised flavor latte. We definitely will be back!!“
“So the other day I waited for about a minute because they didn’t see me walk up at first… because they were busy MAKING THE CONES FRESH IN HOUSE. I have literally never in my life seen fresh waffle cones made in a literal waffle iron before. You cannot ask for more than what they give you here.“
“I have visited nearly every coffee shop in NKY, there are few that I literally think about weekly wishing I lived closer to visit more often. Unataza is top of that list. Their atmosphere is warm and inviting from the decor to the employees there was never a moment I didn't feel welcome. They serve Honduran coffee that is rich and blends beautifully with their homemade syrups and flavors. They rotate flavors with the season but majority are house made and festive. Their espresso drinks I could order by the dozen and I'd still want more, they're that good. They also serve authentic Honduran food from breakfast to lunch, they're a great compliment to a sweet drink. I adore this place and wish I lived closer to visit more but each visit here is such a treat.“
“Not only was there a fabulous selection of bourbon, but the Newberrys were so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. I learned more about the history of bourbon in my few hours at this establishment than I have in all the tours and tastings I've done. We will definitely be coming back!“
“My new favorite coffee shop in Cincinnati! It’s so serene inside the store and LOTS of great books to read or purchase. Beautiful interior and artwork too. I tried ‘the hook’ toast which went well with their signature latte ‘newsprint’The place is in a beautiful neighborhood if you want to take a stroll with your coffee!“
“Coffee is great! And staff is always so friendly! The only thing they can improve on is their breakfast. I have had both breakfast sandwiches a few times and it's never been very good. I would definitely recommend adding some sort of sauce because they are very dry, also changing the breading. The panini style is not the best tasting.Kid-friendliness: Very nice staff!“
“I stopped into The Upside last week for a coffee and time writing. I enjoyed a raspberry white mocha, and it was fantastic! The coffee is fresh, the vibes are chill. It’s a great spot to have some coffee and study, write, or generally chill for a while. I’d hazard a guess and say this is a hang for much of the UC community. Definitely wish a spot like this was here when I attended UC.“
“Cheers meets Friends! Cincinnati Edition.Ever wondered if there was a coffee shop that everyone knew everybody, Theres live music in the evenings, where people looked forward to gathering around. If all of this was aesthetically cool and affably warm, yet organic, You've reached Fulton yards.Driving past the area, we wanted was some coffee. So we hit the first coffee shop we found on our way. And Boy am i glad i did. Not only did they open up the coffee shop for us 5 mins after closing, they took the time and made a damn good cup of coffee. As i sat at the bar surrounded by a healthy flock of people who seemed to know each other, talking about everything under the sun, the barista closed shop and joined them at one of the tables which I assumed was some sort of book club. The energy of the place was palpable like a warm embrace.Pretty close to the river, if this place happens to be on your way, do stop by and say Hi to the amazing people who run this place!!!Vegetarian options: This place is all heart“
“I have been to this location a few times over the last few months, and today was another lovely experience! The barista was incredibly friendly and kind, and made a delicious americano. I got there right as the pastries came in, the blueberry danish is delicious!“
“We were visiting from out of town and were waiting for a table at a restaurant around the corner and decided to go get coffee. We didn't try any food but the baked goods that were out looked good and they said they made it all in house. The atmosphere was unique but it seemed like there could be a few more tables. The coffee though was on point! I'll self identify as a coffee snob and I definitely appreciated the taste of the coffee. I got a mocha latte which isn't anything special but many places have messed this up. I'm looking for a nice, slightly strong coffee taste with a nice but not overbearing chocolate flavor. I can say that they hit both perfectly for me. If you're in the area I'd recommend that you drop in!“
“I recently visited Birdie's Coffee Co. and the ambiance was buzzing with energy from a crowd of young, hip patrons. I picked up a vanilla latte decaf for my wife, which she absolutely adored, and a scoop of gelato that my daughter was delighted with. Despite the cafe being quite busy, the experience was pleasant and the offerings were top-notch. Definitely a gem for anyone looking for quality coffee and treats in a lively atmosphere.“
“Excellent coffee shop right outside of the bridal district. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the coffee was fantastic. They have lots of seating options inside and out of the store which was great to see. They coffee cake was some of the best I have ever had. It is wrapped in plastic which was nice and sanitary, but it caused the frosting to stick to the plastic rather than the cake. Overall an excellent place to grab a coffee and get some work done.“
“I loved coming to this little 2nd home type environment while in engineering school at UC music and vibes are always comforting and calming, something I always needed more of. Now coming back as a graduate it’s the same amazing place and I hope it stays this way for many many years to come :) Great place to study, read, talk, or just kill time. Their playlist is always bomb.“
“Second coffee of the day and this spot got 'er done. Mostly quiet, comfortable and the coffee was good.I found a table in the back where I was not disturbed and was here for about an hour while my phone charged and I was able to write a Yelp review or two.“
“I enjoyed my visit. Our lattes were a bit more expensive then at chains. At least we were served our drinks in actual cups. Very clean and cozy decor. The staff was really nice and made the coffee quickly. The coffee was real smooth with no bitter harsh tastes at all. A good cup of coffee for sure.“
“I am attending a conference near by this weekend so I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich. I am always weary of getting a bacon egg and cheese sandwich because most places give you little to no bacon. Butlers gave me thick cut bacon and there was plenty. Fast and friendly service as well. Additionally, they have a a convenience store that is much better priced than the hotels if you are staying at one.“
“If I could give more stars I would! The drinks are exceptional, the staff is amazing, and the atmosphere is outstanding. The staff took the time to go over the menu with us and give us some great suggestions based on the kinds of drinks we like. The amount of effort and detail in each cocktail coupled with the level of service from the staff truly separates King Pigeon from other bars in the area. Without a doubt, we will be back!“
“Biggi coffee is a great alternative when you are on the road and get a coffee and a bagel. For me the bagel was ok I ordered with turkey and cheese, they put a small amount of turkey ?.The coffee was extremely hot that almost I burn my tongue. But taste good. The ambience is clean and nice.I park on the front of the building.Other Biggi is only for take out but this one in Hebron is really nice.“
“The atmosphere is amazing as are all the drinks and baked goods. Ordered a spinach quiche is it was subpar - eggs were very rubbery and neither myself or my brunch date could eat them. So while I would not recommend the quiche - everything else is amazing!!! Would recommend and will go back.“
“The barista was really kind and welcoming! I got a croissant with everything bagel seasoning and this cream cheese topping, it was pretty yummy warmed up. The coffee was also good, though on the pricy side. The cafe itself was really nice and spacious, lots of seating and outlets too.“
“Very adorably, sweet coffee shop. We had some smoothies to go along with some coffees. Seemed the owner was working and was very kind & welcoming. Would imagine if you are going mother-daughter dress shopping for a wedding, definitely the place to hit!We even had time to play a few games of connect four that was hanging out on the shelf!Kid-friendliness: Yes yes yes! Kids will love to look at all the colorful fish in the very well kept and clean fish tank!“
“Let’s talk world-class gelato,So far I think I’ve tried all the flavors and I absolutely love all of them especially howie the duck when it is available amazing friendly service, and very fast and one of the best Affogato I’ve ever had and Cuban corridor!“
“My macadamia milk latte was divine! Came 30 min before closing (ugh yes, I know and also h8 me) but was given incredible customer service + a delicious bev all the same. Their sweetness levels aren’t overwhelming at all, and the intentionality behind their future goals as an org listed clearly by the entrance is admirable. The open layout that ensures there isn’t a divide between the bar and the customer is truly unique- and the bar itself was clean (way to go barista!). 12/10 would recommend.“
“My 1st time ever at Starbucks. So I ask about cold coffee which I never had anywhere the girl at the register did help me understand about that.. I had carmel crunch. It was very good. It was hard to understand what she was saying at first thank God for“
