“Food is great but I dont think anyone appreciates when you close 2-2.5 hours before your posted closing time every night. If you close at 7pm or 6:30pm Sunday-Thursday but 9pm is posted on your door then update it on the door atleast and update the hours on Google to follow whats on your door. Friday and Saturday is supposed to be 10pm but they will close between 8-9pm. Just be more professional and let the customers know.“

“This is in right on campus so prepare to park and walk. Also if you go during prime times like during breaks between classes it will be packed, we made that mistake. The inside is definitely worn and dated. The food took a minute but they were very busy. When we arrived the seating was full. Luckily by the time our food was done a seat had opened up. We got fried dumplings (8.5/10) the filling was very good but no sauce, steamed pork bun (8/10) they were huge almost as big as my head, pork belly noodles (9.2/10) and spicy beef noodle soup (7/10) the pork was a bit tougher than I wanted for this dish. I'm unsure the difference between the noodle and the soup dishes because they appeared to have same veggies and broth. The service was super sweet, fast and helpful! The food was delicious and I would love to try more of their very extensive meals.“

“I have been coming here for 20 years (at one point my family could hum along to every Chinese instrumental song on the restaurant playlist) and it somehow tastes better and better every time. I absolutely love this place. Nothing's a miss on the menu, the bar pours a stiff drink, and Annie (the owner) is the kindest person. Super friendly waiters and I think, the one of best neighborhood, classic family restaurants in Columbus.“

“Very delicious! Chicken & mushrooms had lots of other veggies too. Fried rice had tasty additions as well. Soft instrumental Christian music playing, and they allow eat-in (another restaurant has no more of that). AND they are open on Mondays -- most other Chinese locations in PTown are closed Mondays. I will eat here again for sure!!“

“Excellent Chinese food. Good portions and prices. Always delicious and fresh! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Somehow they always seem to have my order ready when I show up even if it’s before the 10 minutes. I don’t know how they do it! Great little hidden gem for great strip mall Chinese!“

“I stopped in here for lunch because I had never tried it. It was pretty busy! The ambiance was very lacking for dine in eating. However, the staff was friendly and my order was just as I had ordered.Generally, I order General Tso as a basis because I have had excellent and terrible experiences with this particular dish.Overall, the food was good but just shy of what I consider 5 star on flavor and presentation.I think I will return on a different day to test consistency and also take the opportunity to try something new.“

“The food is your usual 'culprits' when ordering chinese food. the food quality is great; though I will say the beef on a stick can be hit or miss due to how long they're cooked for.The female staffer in the front is always cheery and ready to help. Overall, recommend if you want a quick bite.“

“Kind of a hole in the wall, in a sketchy strip mall; wasn't sure if it was open but there is a lighted sign, so yay. Clean and comfy enough inside. A wall with those faded generic Chinese restaurant menu photos. The menu itself is big and has all the standards. They had a few signs on the counter about new dishes, so I tried one, bourbon chicken. I know, not authentic, but I'd been wanting it lately anyway. And it was right in front of me. Friendly, fast service. Fried rice was just okay. Egg roll was, meh, maybe a little better than okay, but not good enough to finish. Chicken was pretty darn good. Chunks of meat that somehow stayed crispy in a ton of sweet-savory sauce. Big portion. A little broccoli (my doctor, and even taste buds, could have had more of that.) Very tasty, and I really enjoyed it. I'll keep it in mind; not many decent dining options down this way.“

“This was our first time ordering from Golden China. We've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant that we can order from with DoorDash. I never thought we would come across one. I ordered steamed dumplings, teriyaki chicken, and shrimp roll. The dumplings were huge full of real meatand absolutely delicious. The teriyaki chicken on a stick those pieces are huge. The shrimp roll was full of shrimp and delicious also of course then again so was the teriyaki chicken on the stick. My husband got sweet-and-sour pork combination platter. He said it's the best he's ever had. He got a regular egg roll and said it was so good. He also got crab Rangoon's That are stuffed full of cream cheese and these are large large also. Overall, we are extremely excited to have found Golden China!“

“BEST CHINESE IN COLUMBUS!! Hands down!! The orange chicken, lo mein & moo goo gai pan are soo good & everything is always hot & fresh. They also have reasonable prices & fast delivery. I've never gotten anything from here that I didn't love!! Try it, you won't be disappointed!! They are a small takeout restaurant in Southeast Columbus that doesn't look like much, but the looks are deceiving. I won't get Chinese food from anywhere else in Columbus & that's a fact!“
“Ordered take out on a Saturday evening. Wait time was decent. We ordered tofu pad thai, general tso tofu, fried shrimp, veggie tempura, and a veggie tempura sushi roll. Overall the food was good. I would return if I lived in the area.“

“I'm not local and I have been here only once. It was for lunch on a Sunday so traffic was moderate to high. The buffet was well-stocked and the food was very good; a full range of Asian options(including sushi rolls) and an offering of standard American fare like cheese pizza, Mac n cheese, fries etc. There was a good fruit and veggie and salad area. Desserts were very nice too! There was a sign on a couple of the bars which I found refreshing. It cautioned you to be real about how much you could actually eat. And that if you had excessive uneaten food on your plate that you would be charged a 50% fee for wasting food. We Americans are so blessed with resources, including food, and we can become very spoiled with the availability of foods that are precious and rare in other parts of the world. Obesity is a serious problem here. So in summary; the Asian Star China Buffet is as good as it gets. If you go, go with an appetite and a plan to exercise!“

“Has quite a few distinctive selections on the menu. Not your typical run of the mill Chinese restaurant. Seems to be popular with the college crowd. Hearty portions. I will be back for sure,“

“I was in the neighborhood, and in my experience Chinese spots in the ghetto tend to be the best. It’s not the most ghetto ghetto, but it counts, and I generally can’t pass up the opportunity to try a new Chinese restaurant.Besides the phad thai, which was ok, and the fried rice? which looks like turmeric rice and lacks the soy sauce/msg umami flavor I crave, the sesame chicken was pretty good and spicy surprisingly. The beef lo mein was as expected. My 2 brothers knocked it out in 5 minutes. The chicken fried rice was meh (why is the chicken so bright white? like I was genuine sussed out by this). That aside, the crab rangoon was the real star of the show. Crispy, flaky, creamy not too cheesy BUSSIN down your chin good (really happened to our beards), and they provide a generous cup of that strawberry sauce stuff. This is the only reason I may go 10+ miles out of my way to get 2-3 orders of these rangoons alone.“

“Haven't had Peking Dynasty in quite some time but glad we tried it again. We got steamed potstickers that were average. Really good vegetable lo mein, very traditional flavor. Loved the twice cooked pork, made spicy. Loved the Szechuan chicken, made extra spicy with extra vegetables (up charge for this). Overall, fast and very good flavors. We will be back“

“I called and placed an order. I paid in cash. The food was absolutely delicious! Some of the best Moo Shu pork I ever had and the boneless beef tips are amazing. I don't believe there's eat in, just carry out. They are closed on Monday. Will definitely go back!!“

“My son and I each got the chicken teriyaki combo that includes a drink and egg roll. We didn't care for the egg roll, it was mushy and tasteless. But the teriyaki chicken was amazing and you get a big portion for the reasonable price! There is no dine in seating, pick up only. Which is fine, I waited in my car after ordering and would rather eat at home anyways. Definitely recommend everyone try this place at least once!“
