“The Mark Pi's chicken is really good. It's the best chicken I've had at a Chinese restaurant east of Columbus. I love the veggies they put in with the meat, it adds a nice texture and mixes well with the flavors. The crab rangoons are my second favorite. You don't get a lot of food! So it seems cheaper at first, but in reality you just get less. We've even ordered double chicken, but couldn't really tell it was double. That's our biggest complaint, but we still eat here because the food is good and the service is good.“
“I was in town at a nearby conference center and the conference I was attending had just ended. I was looking for a place to eat and this place sounded interesting. It did not disappoint. Good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. I recommend it.“
“This restaurant is diamond in the rough! Small town restaurant with the best Chinese food I've had in a very long time! All the food was very fresh, good quality, and great taste! I got the chicken garlic combo, and it was a very large helping for the price! My friend got the sesame chicken, and we both got egg rolls. Everything was so good we will definitely be going back. Our waitress was very friendly, sociable, and knowledgeable, and she made sure we had everything we needed and checked back regularly.“
“as a chinese american alum from denison, this place was #my second home. so hear me out.precovid (2016-2019 dine-in, take out review)i think this is probably the best you can get in a college town of thats so white and so far away from everything.you gotta be strategic when ordering because i've been here so many times, so many. yet i haven't tried the whole menu.chinese cuisine isn't general tso, "lo-mein", or crab rangoon. so getting that for myself is an insult to my chinese roots.but i give dragon village props because they are AGAIN tailoring to another ethnicity that has a very warp perception of chinese food.i recommend the egg and shrimp, mapo tofu, scallion beef, FRIED DUMPLINGS; not boiled, with the sauce on the side, and their yang chow fried rice.their beef and CHINESE broccoli is also really good.my recommendations are probably the safest and most delicious food on the menu/"secret not so secret menu" FOR more experienced mouths.i want to come back when i'm back in ohio to give them some love and anything for nostalgia.pictures are from 2016-2019.“
“We've been regulars at Peony for at least 3 years now. Several neighbors and friends recommended the restaurant when we moved here and despite driving by a few times, it took us over a year to finally stop for a meal. (Admittedly, the place doesn't look like much from the outside, it's in a strip mall right off of the 16.) HOWEVER, the food blew us away. At this point, we've probably ordered a good portion of the menu, but we definitely have favorites. The Christmas roll (fantastic sushi every time we're there btw) is my go to and I love the cabbage salad that is brought to the table first. The beef bulgogi is another family favorite. We like to go for a light sushi lunch most of the time, but we've been there for dinners plenty of times too. Friday and Saturday nights can randomly be very busy, but most of the time, you're seated immediately. Heads up that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays - we've forgotten plenty of times and been disappointed when we arrived.“
“I just recently moved to Zanesville. I always have a bigger order annd get take out and the food is always so good & can’t get better customer service! I will continue to make the drive. We always get the General Tso and House Mei Fun. Keep up the great job!“
“They had their child working the service counter he is about 7 or 8 yrs old that is ok except he was obviosly sick and took my bank card nose running wiping his nose and and then hamded me my card along with the reciept i immediatly grab the sanitizerOn the counterThis is no fault of the child but with covid running rampid ud figurwd the parents would keep their sick kid away from the food and dealing with customers“
“Food was good and served pretty quick. It’s clean and really big and open inside. Need to get some curb appeal, feel like it would be more enticing. I honestly forget it is even there and I drive by it almost daily. I will definitely order take out from there now that I’ve tried it.“
