“Extremely welcoming and friendly environment with great food! Just as good of quality as a bigger name Italian Restaurant in Columbus for a more reasonable price. Fantastic service and you can really tell that it's family owned and the staff cares about the guests experience. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!“
“Saw the YATS food truck at the Olde Towne East Market & Arts wWalk and had to run over and get some lunch. I went with the Drunken Chicken ($9) which is a shredded chicken, crushed red pepper flakes, olive oil, garlic, beer, and bread crumbs over rice in a bowl. It was so good and packed with flavor. Halfway through I added a pack of Cholula hot sauce for that extra kick.I loved the garlic bread side that came with it!The meal was that good that I am definitely going to have to go to Grandview (or stalk the truck) to try some other dishes! Be kind, and don't skip the tip!“
“Raised in Louisiana, moved to California, went to Columbus on vacation. What a surprise to find some of the most authentic Cajun food since Louisiana. Nothing fancy for sure, but definitely reminds me of a good home-cooked dinner in Louisiana. Got a chance to talk to the owner of this location, and just in southern hospitality fashion got to know a little backstory about him and his family and the restaurant. Was kind of a nice treat. Hopefully, next time I get a chance to visit, they’ll have some shrimp and grits, and then I would surely pack up and move to Ohio!“
“Stopped in at 4pm on 4/14/24 and placed a to go order. I didn't catch the hostesses name but she was incredibly friendly and helpful as I had never been there before today. I did happen to trade some words with Jesse Perkins who prepares the food and he explained some of the process of what goes into a seafood boil and what sets Kai's apart from the rest. I could tell Jesse loves his job, it was apparent the owner treats his staff very well. Jesse was incredibly passionate about what he does and it shows in the food he prepares. I can't rate the atmosphere yet as I havent stayed to eat but the 10 minutes I was there it seemed very enjoyable. 10/10 recommend and I will absolutely be returning.“
“Foods good bit felt very nickle and dimed. Spent almost 100 on seafood, but it didn't come with corn or potatoes. $2 to add half piece of corn... OK so 2 people 2 ears of corn $16, add 2 potatoes for 2 people that's another $8. The bag was rather dry without enough space to dip the corn into, "do you want the $3 or the $6 extra sauce?" What I really wanted was enough sauce to begin with but sure. $160 for 2 people and after a $20 tip, felt pretty excessive for what we received. Probably wouldn't go again even though the food was great.“
“Not only is there food delicious they are able to accommodate gluten free adaptations of regular menu items without losing quality.Dietary restrictions: The tortilla chips are gluten free. And you can substitute corn tortillas for flour tortillas to have a gluten-free meal.“
