“We came from Michigan last week. We went to this Bangladeshi owned restaurant 2 times. The lady in the front recognized us at second time. I am Pakistani we love traditional Chinese food. We appreciate you for doing the halal Chinese. The food was amazing , highly recommended. We will be back next month.“
“Excellent spot to eat, truly authentic cuisine, my wife and I have spent many years in the Middle East and it is truly great to find a place that's great with really great food!! My wife is fasting so great Vegan options and I love the gyro meat, so it took care of both of our needs ?# ? It is currently Ramadan, so their hours have been adjusted for this religious holiday, so make sure to check, before you go. It's worth the drive!! ??Vegetarian options: If you're fasting, they have you covered!!Parking: It's hard to park in front of Zaytoon, only because the parking ?️ lot in front is shared my 3 other restaurant's , but a huge parking lot is on the side with plenty of availability for parking ?️.“
“This is one my favorite taco spots in the city, they have CHICKEN birria tacos, SHRIMP tacos and plenty other options that I haven’t got to try yet because the chicken tacos are so good and hefty they got me hooked. These chicken tacos are fat! The price is very reasonable and they give out buzzers to alert you when your order is done, 10 mins usually. I go here once a week at least if I can get out of work in time. They moved closer to my job so I’m happy with the new location.“
“The gentleman at this food truck was kind & quick! Food was fresh & delicious.Just passing through Columbus, but would highly recommend this truck & definitely stop by again if I’m ever back in town! (Would have included a picture but it looked so good, I just had to dig in)“
“Title: A Taste of Compassion: A Halal Food Truck that Goes Beyond the PalateIn the heart of our bustling city, where the aroma of diverse cuisines mingles with the urban symphony, there exists a hidden gem that not only satisfies our taste buds but also warms our hearts – a halal food truck like no other. My encounter with this culinary haven transcended the realm of gastronomy; it became a story of compassion, resilience, and the unyielding spirit of community. The food truck, adorned with vibrant colors and infused with the irresistible scent of spices, caught my attention one fateful evening. What began as a quest for a delicious halal meal turned into a life-changing experience. Little did I know that this modest food truck and its owner would become the unsung heroes of my family's life. The first bite was an explosion of flavors, a perfect symphony of spices that danced on my palate. Each dish was crafted with precision, a testament to the culinary expertise of the owner, whose passion for halal cuisine shone through every bite. But it was not just the food that left an indelible mark on my memory; it was the owner's kindness and genuine concern for his patrons that set this food truck apart. One evening, tragedy struck my family as our home became engulfed in flames. Amidst the chaos and despair, it was the owner of this halal food truck who emerged as our unexpected savior. Hearing about our plight, he not only extended a helping hand but went above and beyond the call of duty. His quick thinking and resourcefulness ensured the safety of my family, as he played a pivotal role in guiding us to safety and alerting the authorities. In the aftermath of the fire, the halal food truck became a symbol of hope and resilience for us. The owner continued to support us, providing meals, and even organizing a fundraising campaign within the community to help us rebuild our lives. His actions spoke volumes about the power of compassion and the sense of kinship that can be found in the unlikeliest of places. The food served by this halal food truck is undoubtedly exceptional, but it is the warmth of the owner's heart and the sense of community fostered around the mobile kitchen that make it truly extraordinary. It's not just a place to savor delicious halal dishes; it's a sanctuary of compassion and support, a reminder that even in the face of adversity, the human spirit can shine brightly. In every bite, I taste the flavors of gratitude and resilience, making each visit to this halal food truck a heartfelt journey. It's more than just a place to satisfy culinary cravings; it's a haven where the bonds of community are forged, and the taste of compassion lingers long after the last bite.“
“Came here because I've driven by before and just love that their sign is just placed over a popeyes logo. As a Yemeni food novice, I was blown away by the food here.We were greeted by a very kind cashier/waiter/multi-roled person and he was ablw to quickly seat us and describe aspects of the menu. I still have almost no clue what the differences between the dishes are but ended up getting a lamb stew and shared an appetizer sampler. The appetizers were familiar, things I've had at middle eastern restaurants and it was all wonderful. They had a version of toum which I quickly ate up because I love garlic. My lamb stew came out and it smelled wonderful and was still sizzling due to being in a stone pot. It had such a nice flavor profile ans the lamb came through. The best part was as it was still bubbling, parts on the bottom charred a bit and I got some wonderful charred lamb pieces.Overall, a quiet restaurant that might be easy to miss but should not be passed up. Definitely give this a go if you're in the mood for some flavorful food!“
“My favorite place for chicken and rice. Keep in mind it's a food truck, so it's food to go, but it is really good. Their gyros are wonderful. It's like $8-$10 for an entree but the portion is big (I eat twice from the chicken and rice plate). I highly recommend this little truck.Parking: It's in a parking lot of a gas station so there are like 4 parking spots in front of the food truck. It can definitely be kind of hectic during busy times.“
“A clean, very well organized place with a great selection of dairy, teas, Mediterranean sweets, and spices. We bought also chicken - a really good price. The owner Saber is friendly, answers any questions or requests. Will definitely visit again.“
“Everything we tried was delicious and tasted fresh, the fiery feta fries, chicken shawarma over rice with garlic sauce, and hummus were amazing, the pita soft and fresh, everyone is super Friendly and the service is fast definitely my new favorite spot for gyros and shawarma.“
“Best middle eastern food I’ve ever had. Maybe top 5 best meals I’ve ever had ever! The food came out fast and hot.The man who took our order was helpful, polite, and had a calm demeanorI gave atmosphere 5 out of 5 stars because the food made me feel like I was in heaven.Good size portions, too.Vegetarian options: Falafel plate and grape leaves“
“This is my first time trying Halal China Bistro and I am not mad I took the 25 minute drive each way. The lady was nice and the portions were plentiful. I started eating before I realized I hadn't taken a picture. The bourbon chicken and the rest of the dishes were tasty. The rice was a cross between fried and white with no veggies inside of it.“
“My daughter wanted Stromboli instead of pizza for a change, and we found this place online. We were very happy with everything we ordered- Stromboli, lasagna, meatball sub, potato skins, and cheesy garlic bread. Everything tasted great! It was ready for pick up on time, even though they seemed to be short staffed they were making a huge effort to get everyone's food orders out at the time they promised. They work really hard for their customers and it shows. The only suggestion I would make is to maybe pare down the menu a bit. There are a LOT of choices and I think it would benefit them to focus on a theme, like just Italian American food while keeping the Halal versions also available for those who follow that diet (it's awesome that customers have this option. I don't think there are many around Columbus). For instance, the hamburgers stood out on the menu since they dont really fit in with a pizza place. Also, all the different types of pizza and Stromboli and such gets a little repetative. Slimming down the menu could keep both the customers and the staff from getting overwhelmed by too many items. Now that we know Luna is a short drive away, we will be definitely adding it to our restaurant list. The food was tasty and the serving sizes were large. I definitely recommend them.“

“My girlfriend and me were in the area shopping and caught a whiff of something that smelled amazing…so we popped into Mediterranean Food Imports and Bakery for a peek. We went up and down each isle and picked out a few items. When checking out, we met the owner and struck up a conversation. He told about their food in the back and offered us some samples of their baba ghanoush, hummus and falafel. Amazing! We’ll definitely be back for some lunch and/or dinner after the holidays.“
