“I never realized how awesome this place was until air stopped in and gave it another try. The new owner is awesome! She works her a$$ off to make sure everyone is taken care of! The food is really good, drinks are cold and quick, and the atmosphere is electric. I will definitely be making this place a more frequent stop. It's definitely worth the detour!!“

“Everything is great but sucked that I had to go back inside after leaving from picking up a take out order because they forgot sour cream. The lady said the quesadilla doesn’t come with it but I said it was on the menu. She went back and got a little blob of it but literally held it from me saying “I’m going to have to confirm that the menu says that or else I’m going to have to charge you.” Like cool story I guess I look like a liar. After they pulled the menu on their phones and said “I guess it does say that on the menu” I got my little blob. Y’all would have charged for this?“

“Place was packed. Parking awful. Being handicapped I had to walk way too far to enter. Very loud and noisy. Had a big group and had to shout to one another. My BLT was tasty. Service slow but the waitress was running around like crazy. Definitely needed more help. Have been here before and was much better the other times. Won't be bringing our group back here.“

The truffle pommes frites are delectable.The cocktails are watered down, though, so stick to beer or wine.Where we were sat was under the second floor overhang, and it was noisy from what sounded like people running back and forth. They wouldn't let us sit on the patio even though they had the firepit going, but then let other people sit on the patio after us.“

“I just had the best chicken ceasar salad ever! I ordered take out and it was ready quick. The $15 salad is worth every penny. The ceasar is not too heavy and is more like a vinaigrette. Flavorful and not too heavy. Chicken is juicy and salad us very fresh. Everything I've had here is fabulous. The French fries are worth the calories!“

“My wife and I ordered the spaghetti dinner. The sauce was water. It had no flavor other then water. The bartender acts like your invisible. When I went to pay the bill I was asked how was everything. I said awful. She just says sorry to hear that. 60 bucks waisted.“

Good, strong cocktails, decent beer menu, and a mix of food offerings.The frites are enough to feed a family of four and SO GOOD! The burger was also a big hit with my party. The staff was all very friendly and attentive in a perfect amount - no hovering but they were there when we needed them.The space itself is very inviting, bright and open, and the patio looked like a great place to relax. This is a hidden gem in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood. We'll definitely be back!“

“It was super busy while we were there but we still received our dinner very warm and didn't have to wait very long after our order was placed. Dave was our server and he had a lot of tables to take care of but never got flustered. He kept up with every table. Austin's is one of our favorite places to dine.“
