“Sat outside on the patio the food was excellent the atmosphere was very nice and very good service everyone loved the tomato bisque soup myself I ordered the whiskey burger and added bacon loved it I added a house salad with apricot vinaigrette dressing the homemade dressing was excellent someone ordered the ham and swiss with tomato bisque soup the ham was excellent real ham not lunch meat another one in our party ordered the chicken club he said it was very good and would get it again and also someone ordered the berry salad with the homemade Maple vinaigrette she loved it she also ordered the tomato bisque and said that was excellent all in all it was a great experience. We will be back ! ?“

“The spot to be!!! My husband and I came for dinner on a weekday night in the winter - the whole town was there! Staff was quick and very friendly. Manager came by to check on us a few minutes after we received our food. Drink options were plentiful, great draft options. We LOVED the mac and cheese, a few different options for the protein addition but the chicken was soo yummy. We live in Columbus, wish we had a restaurant like this nearby.“

“A great local ice cream chain! I visited here on the solar eclipse day and while the line was out the door, it moved quickly. I had been here before and got the chocolate peanut butter cup, which I found underwhelming. This time, I got the peanut butter fudge sundae with caramel fudge brownie ice cream. The sundae was reasonably priced ($7) with a good portion size, and it was delicious. The peanut butter and hot fudge were delicious, and the ice cream was rich and creamy, with plenty of hearty fudge chunks. I highly recommend Mitchell's if you are looking for good, local ice cream in Cleveland!“

“I love their custard. My favorite is a kid sized turtle with whipped cream and a cherry. The hot fudge is always hot and that's important. Most places don't bother with the hot fudge actually being hot and that's just wrong on so many levels. The only thing I don't like about the place is the weird smell. Might be disinfectant, but whatever it is it's too strong.“

An issue we had this time that never was an issue before is that the gravy that came with the biscuits and gravy breakfast was runny instead of being thick. It did not look very appetizing. The Works is my go to and usually comes out well. The pomegranate brunch drink is amazing! Would definitely recommend.“

The way the restaurant operates it is very similar to Chipotle and the worker was very patient and friendly while I made my selections. “A hidden gem in downtown Painesville. The food is always delicious and fresh. The lobster bisque soup is one the very best we've ever had! It's cozy in the winter and chill in the summer sitting outside on the patio. Always a great choice!“

“I ordered a macho quesadilla and though it as chicken and cheese only but then I found it also had chorizo in it and I didn’t read the menu properly online before ordering it. The guy had glasses and tattoos on hand, he was nice and replaced it for me on spot and it was quick. I would recommend place to anyone for food quality food.“

“The best pizza in this area!! We tried many pizzas in different restaurants but my boyfriend and I agreed that Abo's pizza was the best. Their crust/dough was so good and had an excellent flavor. It was relatively thin but could hold the toppings. We had one of their specialty pizzas, Mediterranean, together with a Caesar salad. Large pizza was more than enough to share for two people. Service was good, prices were reasonable but we thought $10 for a piece of cheese cake was a bit steep. Anyways, we will go back there for sure.Update:We went back & ordered Calamari, Margarita Pizza (BEST) , Linguine with Calamari, & Gnocchi. Ordering a bottle of wine for three of us worked perfectly ?“

“What a wonderful experience. We were actually in route to eat somewhere else nearby but it looked to be way too crowded. While driving around I notice The Gateway Diner and decided to try it.Wow. “This was my 1st time here. First Watch was super busy, so we were in luck seeing this next door without a wait. We were seated right away.We started with an appetizer of meatballs. The meatballs are normal in size. Not like some places that give you ginormous ones. Fine! It's 3 of them, and they come in a small cast iron skillet, swimming in marina sauce, covered in ricotta and some other cheeses, along with several pieces of garlic bread on the side. I'm picky about marina sauce. I don't like it chunky. This 1 was perfect. The right mix of flavor and not chunky. These meatballs were very, very good. I was very impressed. The bread was great, too. You can own my heart with good bread ? ?We both ordered burgers ? If you follow me, you know I like a good burger and a good steak. I got the original cheeseburger with bacon added, and my son got the double stack smash burger. My burger was so thick. I tried my best to eat half. It was delicious ? No complaints ? The burger gods are pleased.The fries were ok. Basic, regular fries ? Not bad, but definitely won't be the reason you return. I'll return because I'm sure there is more I would like to try in the future.“

It is a challenging coffee shop to sit and read a book in with the loud pop music playing, and the occasional ad from not paying for their streaming service. Aside from the music, I’d like if the lighting was a little warmer. But overall it’s an enjoyable place to be and makes nice use of a historic structure in downtown Willoughby.“
