“This restaurant was very nice, and well positioned. Their burger came with coleslaw and a lot of fries. In the morning, they have delicious hot donuts of 6 varieties. Having their donuts are a great, cheap way to start the day. They are very close to the Lakeside pier, so you can order takeout, then walk 2 minutes down to the pier and eat there.“

“Absolutely beautiful views!! Food prices are extremely reasonable and great quality! Waitress was outstanding.. brought extra napkins without having to ask for them! ( big plus for me personally) . “I've been going to the Pump for years. It is my go to for lunch or dinner on the island. The staff is friendly and the food is very good. Also one of the few, if not the only, restaurant/bar on the island with a pool table, so it is a great place as a night spot too. Try the fish tacos. They're the best! And don't forget their special hot sauce for the tacos and the fries.“

Both days we had Sirena as our server and she is by far the best server we could have asked for. She kept ours drinks full, she anticipated our needs and she has that personality that just makes your day better for having been around her. Great way to start our day and end our trip on the island. The food was top notch quality. A must visit if you are at Put in Bay. Even two days in a row we were completely satisfied each time. “What a great place, friendly and very welcoming. My wife, son, and I stopped in here for dinner and we were very surprised. The food was so good. My son had the Salmon burger and loved it. I had a special salad, Strawberry spring salad (i think) and it was fantastic. It tasted fresh, the chicken in the salad was cooked well the whole salad was so good. This was so far the best food that we have had in Sandusky.“

This place was small, chill, had plenty of parking and if you are in the area for Cedar Point or any other reason it's definitely worth the stop. Every time I go to Ohio I'm always shocked by the prices of food and how cheap everything is. We had dinner for 6 with drinks and apps for around 100$. That's no east coast pricing folks! “Went in on a Thursday evening after driving for 5 hours. Our host was absolutely amazing! Made recommendations for not only the restaurant but for our trip to Cedar Point! I added a croissant which they toasted to perfection in a pan it appeared. Made myself a breakky sandwich with that - which was unmatched in the deliciousness category. Omelets and potatoes were thoroughly enjoyed by other family members. Also tried out the blueberry pancake- it was fluffy, just not super blueberry tasting- which is okay-some people may like it that way.Sign inside reads something to the effect that they do not sacrifice quality for speed, this is true. They are short on help. Only gave 3 stars for service only due to very long wait but it did not take away my enjoyment of my meal for me, as I was there to connect with family and relax. Staff was polite. My advice is to thoroughly enjoy an amazing breakfast at this classic spot WHEN and only when you can sit and enjoy your time NOT be in a hurry. “Took the fam here to dine in for dinner after a day at the water park. It’s a cute little family run restaurant with all the Mexican staples. Custom carved tables and chairs give it a good vibe and the people working were very friendly. We eat a lot of Mexican when we travel because our children have egg and dairy allergies. It’s usually a safe bet because everything is scratch made and the kitchens can adjust to our needs. This chance happened to pay off because Casa Real makes their own tortilla chips and they use a completely separate frier when cooking them! Happy kids yay. They then accommodated for the allergies with freshly made fajitas. I had the best enchiladas I’ve ever tasted in my life. The carnitas that came with the enchiladas Jalisco were ridiculous. Melt in your mouth and full of flavor. The enchilada sauce that another reviewer said was like marinara was in fact nothing like marinara. It was definitely different than the usual thin enchilada sauce most places make. It had a depth of flavor that was so amazing. A little tangy and smoky. I told my wife I wanted to come back for dinner the next day on our way home because the meal was that good.“

“This was a solid experience. My father and I were in town for the eclipse. We reasoned that it would be wise to get something to eat before the long journey home. I was immediately encouraged when we entered and I heard Spanish being shouted in the kitchen. That's almost always a sure sign that you're in the right place. The menu had all of the usual items, but in my case I was looking for a particular item. For some reason it's impossible for me to find basic grilled chicken with cheese sauce at my hometown. I found it here, and it was delicious! Wonderfully tender chicken, well prepared beans, and the cheese sauce was perfect. My father indicated that his dish was perfect also. Our server was wonderful throughout and took great care of us. Hope to come back!“

“We eat here every time we're at Cedar Point, which is about 15 times a year, at least.The mac and cheese... I crave it during the winter. The burnt ends and pulled pork... OMGOSH... SOOOOOOOO good.The coleslaw though... I don't know what's in there. I don't know if I got a bad batch or... it was super gross.“

“The server was very nice. The blue cheese dressing was 75% mayo and 25% blue cheese so all you tasted was mayo. The mushroom risotto was lacking in taste and the perch was fried way too long! When you are preparing lake Erie perch, it requires very little breading and should be golden color. We will be back this summer to try again.“

While disappointed, I had explained I had something for him in the room…after many years we’ve learned to always bring food with us as a backup. A few minutes later and after observing my son at the table, Yula recognized that my son may have food challenges and without asking her she went to the manager and they both figured out how to accommodate my son’s request. If you choose to go to the island be prepared to pay more. It's common sense. You got million dollar yachts in the bay . We got ours in 20 minutes or so take out. One of the best pizza we've ever had HOT. COLD out of the fridge wasn't very good. We disposed of the left overs. Not every pizza tastes good cold. With that being said we would 100% buy again. Nothing fancy about the place. Walk in, order take out or sit in the very adequate seating. The bar was cozy although we didn't hit it.“

“Literally the best fold over I’ve ever had, anywhere, I wasn’t real sure about a folded over pizza, but I like different, and the pizza brothers gyro fold over did not disappoint, it was delivered quick and steaming hot, and the combination of a gyro/pizza then folded over on top of itself sounded intriguing and was quite possibly the best of both worlds. So glad I gave it a shot, my only issue now is which fold over I’m going to try next time!!“

The waitress was attentive and quick with beverage refills. Our 6 year old loves the pond and colorful lights. “We ate breakfast here twice. Both times the service was quick and friendly. I really enjoyed the self-serve coffee. Both times were there I ordered over easy eggs and both times they were over medium or closer to hard. But the bacon and sausage were very good. My girlfriend enjoyed her scrambled eggs and bacon and hash browns.“
