“I've been going to the Pump for years. It is my go to for lunch or dinner on the island. The staff is friendly and the food is very good. Also one of the few, if not the only, restaurant/bar on the island with a pool table, so it is a great place as a night spot too. Try the fish tacos. They're the best! And don't forget their special hot sauce for the tacos and the fries.“

“What a great place, friendly and very welcoming. My wife, son, and I stopped in here for dinner and we were very surprised. The food was so good. My son had the Salmon burger and loved it. I had a special salad, Strawberry spring salad (i think) and it was fantastic. It tasted fresh, the chicken in the salad was cooked well the whole salad was so good. This was so far the best food that we have had in Sandusky.“

EnjoyUpdate: We had to go back to Pasquales Cafe for breakfast. We were beyond impressed with this dining experience. Both days we had Sirena as our server and she is by far the best server we could have asked for. She kept ours drinks full, she anticipated our needs and she has that personality that just makes your day better for having been around her. Great way to start our day and end our trip on the island. The food was top notch quality. A must visit if you are at Put in Bay. Even two days in a row we were completely satisfied each time. “Ted, my server was incredible. He treated me and my party like family. The drinks were incredible and came out so quickly, try a home brew! The food was cooked perfectly and the seasoning and flavor were on point. I honestly can't say enough good things about the place! I will be back every time I'm in town.“

“This restaurant was very nice, and well positioned. Their burger came with coleslaw and a lot of fries. In the morning, they have delicious hot donuts of 6 varieties. Having their donuts are a great, cheap way to start the day. They are very close to the Lakeside pier, so you can order takeout, then walk 2 minutes down to the pier and eat there.“

“Clean, delicious, tasty breakfast, not greasy. A new fav spot for an amazing breakfast on a leisurely morning. I had a simple and incredibly well-prepared plate of scrabled eggs, bacon and potatoes. I added a croissant which they toasted to perfection in a pan it appeared. Made myself a breakky sandwich with that - which was unmatched in the deliciousness category. Omelets and potatoes were thoroughly enjoyed by other family members. Also tried out the blueberry pancake- it was fluffy, just not super blueberry tasting- which is okay-some people may like it that way.Sign inside reads something to the effect that they do not sacrifice quality for speed, this is true. They are short on help. Only gave 3 stars for service only due to very long wait but it did not take away my enjoyment of my meal for me, as I was there to connect with family and relax. Staff was polite. My advice is to thoroughly enjoy an amazing breakfast at this classic spot WHEN and only when you can sit and enjoy your time NOT be in a hurry. Bring along a great friend or book that you want to catch up with.PS > We did NOT get cell service here on 5G phones, so don't count on that while waiting.“

“The ambiance was great, we were greeted at the door by one of the managers. He showed us around and invited us to the bar while we waited for our table reservations. The place was beautiful! Many photo ops with garden waterfalls, vineyards and decor. The dinner service was great! Very tentative staff, knowledgeable on their menu, specials and drinks. “We eat here every time we're at Cedar Point, which is about 15 times a year, at least.The mac and cheese... I crave it during the winter. The burnt ends and pulled pork... OMGOSH... SOOOOOOOO good.The coleslaw though... I don't know what's in there. I don't know if I got a bad batch or... it was super gross.“

While disappointed, I had explained I had something for him in the room…after many years we’ve learned to always bring food with us as a backup. A few minutes later and after observing my son at the table, Yula recognized that my son may have food challenges and without asking her she went to the manager and they both figured out how to accommodate my son’s request. My husband and I were very touched by their kindness and consideration. The two of them made our day. Thank you again! PS, our breakfast was amazing!“

“Sloopy's has been an all-time pizza place of me and my family since I was a little girl. Such great memories created in this delicious restaurant! The staff is always super great and the pizza is to die for. If you're thinking about trying Sloopy's, just do it. And if you do, save me a slice! :)“

“We purchased the medium Cameo supreme style. 8$ more than on the mainland but entirely acceptable because great location equals higher cost. If you choose to go to the island be prepared to pay more. It's common sense. You got million dollar yachts in the bay . We got ours in 20 minutes or so take out. One of the best pizza we've ever had HOT. COLD out of the fridge wasn't very good. We disposed of the left overs. Not every pizza tastes good cold. With that being said we would 100% buy again. Nothing fancy about the place. Walk in, order take out or sit in the very adequate seating. The bar was cozy although we didn't hit it.“

“We ate breakfast here twice. Both times the service was quick and friendly. I really enjoyed the self-serve coffee. Both times were there I ordered over easy eggs and both times they were over medium or closer to hard. But the bacon and sausage were very good. My girlfriend enjoyed her scrambled eggs and bacon and hash browns.“
